Chakkhna : Beyond Peanuts

Chakkhna word seems a name of a food outlet which can serve you only fast food or snack items. In general, this word is used for the items which are served with liquors but here you can have lot more items than only chakkhna. This outlet is for takeaway and delivery only outlet. This was started by Mr. Sarthak who himself is a chef and Hotel Management graduate. I have seen in past that young guns are doing well in food market than older ones. Outlet was started 9 months ago and within this shorter span of time, this outlet has gained well earned popularity. I always search for new food joints and new items (specially if this is weekend for me). So, on one fine Friday evening, me and my colleagues ordered food from this outlet. Delivery was before time and they created good impression at first instance. I ordered both veg and non-veg and below is my reviews for each item: Chicken Rarah: This was well made . Was dry, spicy . My friend tasted it and he was satisfied with the taste. It is a punjabi chicken dish which also has the taste of yogart. Paneer Tikka Masala: It is one of my favorite so i have no issue with this. I can easily differentiate the good taste of this and overall this was one of the best dish of the day. Paneer spring Roll : It was marinated paneer sticks wrapped in wonton sheets and deep fried. It was crispy and was good to taste as a snack item. I tasted it after long time. Chakkhna Spl Dal : I tasted it little at the end as i tried other items first and in the end, it was in less quantity. I was feeling that i missed the great taste. I was angry with my friend on this. Paneer Tikka Masala: I found this little average. Reason is not their quality and taste. Reason is i was regularly tasting paneer from few continuous days. So i was not excited for this but yet i ordered it to add one more item. Veg Biryani: This was really amazing. Full on paisa wasool for this item. Wll mixed with vegetables, balanced cooked, spicy, salted and best in taste. You should not miss this one. Gucchi Kebab: I tasted this item very first time. This was very different from all other item. I would like to taste it again if i get opportunity. Chicken Harfanmaula: Name of this item was quite interesting. As the name suggest, it can give you all round taste.It also adds flavor of mutton. Cooked in tadoor and provides you dry taste. Well experimented. Gulfam: It was sweet dish and best of the day. I personally liked this and would recommend everyone to try this one specially. I also loved the presentation. It was mousse prepared in heart shape with center filled with gulkand (which is used with paan). I had flavor in sweet dish but it was the first time with mousse. I would give full marks to chakkhna for their great fine taste with best quality. Every precaution was also taken while packing. I am only deducting half marks because they do not provide seating. First of all very interesting name 😝 This place is making a lot of buzz these days hence thought of trying it out. We tried the home delivery 📦. The order was placed easily over call and it got delivered in 40 minutes which is decent but can be improved. Their Menu has a very nice variety of grubing options. The prices that they have are also justified. We had Chicken Bara Akbari (5/5): Very nice Tandoori chicken with amazing spices. Must try for Tandoori lovers. Haryanvi Chiken Tikka (4.6/5): A new style of chicken tikka. Was having cream and peanut marination for the tikkas. Achari paneer Tikka (5/5): One of the best achari tikka. It was perfectly spiced and cooked. Chicken Rara (4.7/5): Nice and rich chicken curry with minced chicken in it as well. Dal makhani (4/5): Healthy dal with less butter in it. All in all it's a very good place, so next time remember chakkna is beyond peanuts 😊

If you want to have something completely different from what others are offefering? Chakkhna is the best bet.
