Review Punjab Hindu Hotel Restaurant - Howrah

One of the oldest restaurant on Howrah. The kitchen may look small, but one of finest dishes came out that place, Do try their kababs, masala kulcha, butter paneer, biriyani, Amritsari chicken etc. Not only the owner is kind but also prepares some dishes to help the the chefs and cooks on kitchen, when it's crowdy or too much order on the way. Go for it.

Serves authentic Punjabi, Mughlai dishes throughout the day. Biryani, Paneer sides, & Dal Tadka is highly recommended, also tandoor, kabab dishes are famous too. One may get various Indian breads like Tawa, Tandoori, Nun, Kulcha. Prices are slightly high compared to the other places in Howrah, but pretty much value for money. Visit early evening to bypass long waiting time.

This is a very old food joint. Recently renovated. It offers good food at affordable price. Take away recommended.

I have been taking away food from this shop over 15 years now. Excellent dhaba food, the most popular being tarka dal and rotis. However, it has a surprisingly greta tandoor and their kebabs are excellent, way above one would expect from a shop with a look and feel like this. Makes one of the best saag meat I have had outside Delhi. Also has a great Reshmi Chicken Butter Masala, far superior than many high ranked eateries in Kolkata. I have always liked their Tandoori Rotis and last few years they also serve tawa roti and rumali from the adjacent shop. Overall, a consistent and reliable food joint offering very tasty and good food in the locality.

It's a cosy restaurant with good quality Punjabi and Mughal Foods. The items are very much oily and Spicy. I Prefer Chicken Reshmi Butter Masala, Egg Tarka and Mutton Curry.

Situated Just beside Bakra thana ( police station), Kadamtala. Food was okay and rate was reasonable.
