Review Chutney Restaurant - Hyderabad

Anshika Singla
Beautiful restaurant on first floo with amazing ambience and delicious food...They provide 6 type of chutneys snd all have different flavors...you can order any south indian dish and all the 6 chutneys will work with it.. But you need to wait for atleast 20min. There Is a separate waiting room at ground floor.. This is a budget place where one person cost is around 200-300INR.
Sarasu's Kitchen
This is one of the joints that we can visit when looking for only Vegetarian options. The highlight is the variety of chutneys they serve - that includes the newly added Kara Chutney made out of tomato 🍅. Another dish that one should taste is the Guntur Idly or the Podi Idli that's served with Podu strewn all over the idly with Ghee topping. The one thing which bothers me most is .they stopped serving water in the Jar / Copper vessel /tumbler. They have started giving away the Plastic water bottle - which I feel is not the great thing for this traditional outlet.

Must try place in Hyderabad They serve food with 6 different chatani Good family breakfast restaurant

Amazing veg restaurant with a big list of chutneys .. if you are coming here order their specialities. Don't order thali coz if u eat thali then u don't have much space to eat anything else. Babai idly was amazing.. thali was ok but nothing special.. I could have tried many other items. Do order the tea ..it was great..

Enjoyed the babai idly, chole bature and uthappam. Podi dosa was a bit spicy and not appealing in taste. The overall experience was great, the entrance was a little shabby, getting into the restaurant using metal stairs is not great. The elevator access is in the back, you have to walk a bit towards the end of the building, old folks find it hard to walk that far. The manager is making sure that the hotel is clean by close observation.

Very good vegetarian food, especially tiffin and meals, coffee also good, atmosphere is good, only issue with car parking, wallet parking available, if anybody wants to drive car to parking , it is some what difficult.

When compared to the value provided, the prices are on the high side. The restaurant gets its name from the unique kinds of chutneys they offer. We choose the Masala Dosa. The flavour was good but the sambhar was somewhat sweet. Chutneys were unique and delicious. Ambiance and service was top notch. My report card: Taste: 4/5, Service: 5/5, Ambiance: 5/5, Cleanliness: 5/5, Value for money: 2/5

The place has been downsized after thw lockdown. The Babia idli with the different varieties of chutneys and sambar was great. The onion masala rava dosa was scrumptious but, the chole batura was a scam- it did not live upto the reputation of chutneys. The coffee was good and certainly a great way to round up a south- Indian tiffin.

Food was excellent. Coming from a south Indian background all dishes served were known to me. Can experience taste with every bite you take and it's unique with different chutneys they provide. Overall it was good but not unique for me. Everything seemed to be quite expensive.

Just had 2 Idlis (Normal and one Guntur), with an array of Chutneys. These included groundnut (my vote) and another similar one, sweet coconut, tomato, mango chilly and a couple of others. Somebody should explain the chutneys or add a small tag to them, I had to call and ask them. Though the servers were very courteous, maybe the hotel should own their chutneys better. Overall, a very short but good experience.
Ketaki T Khemalapure
Best breakfast joint for South Indian foodies must try and their variety of chutney is so mouth watering and sponge dosa too
Dr.suushhma
Rava dosa with variety of chutneys was amazing. Coconut chutney was highlight. Mushroom Manchurian & Hongkong Manchurian were very tasty, spicy & lip smacking. Veg biryani was ok. Ambience is very simple, slightly crowded & a bit pricey. Overall it's good food.
Yatraroam “Anirudh”
Loved the taste of different Chutneys. Guntur idly was really awesome. Poori with upma was also gud. Service was really awesome every time we needed them they would attend immediately. The ambiance was also gud.

Request for Chetnies Restaurant Branch in Kompally, Hyderabad. I am writing to express my strong desire to see a Chetnies Restaurant branch in Kompally, Hyderabad. As a resident and customer in the area, I have observed a lack of high-quality vegetarian dining options, with Minarva Coffee Shop being the only prominent choice. Given Chetnies' reputation for excellent vegetarian cuisine, I believe its presence in Kompally would be warmly welcomed by the community. Please consider expanding to Kompally to cater to the growing demand for diverse and superior vegetarian dining experiences.

To the restaurant which had become part of our family tradition..a must after every occassion.. our fixed Sunday morning family breakfasts.. has failed to keep up the legacy it used to carry! visited first time after lockdown and I'm so disappointed.. for the legacy it's supposed to carry it's just become one of those udipis joints kind....the terrible experience started with security not helping with parking or traffic ..then when you enter it's hot! Humid! With no ac's on... Then the rude manager.. and food being served in melamaine.. I never thought chutneys would serve in such cheap plastic plates... Manager and staff being very arrogant who wouldn't care to listen to your order.. ordered for idli.. got one in.one cheap plastic plate and after five minutes got sambar.. and after another five minutes got second idli... Also to note the restaurant is empty!... Bug was found in dosa... No sanitization of tables... Waiters and manager touched all spoons and forks while giving...and zero fucks were given to anything asked. This is the last time I'll ever come to chutneys.. The legacy which we made our family tradition for so many years failed us miserably... Still charging the bomb for a roadside experience.. never coming back!

I got only two chutneys and sambar for this I can order at other restaurants also purpose of ordering in this restaurant is only for variety of chutneys only but you guys have skipped chutneys totally disappointed<br/>

Chutneys is one restaurant in the entire Hyderabad that is known for its South Indian food. What I love the most is the variety of chutneys offered here. As you can see on my plate, every chutney looks different and has a distinct flavor. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to try the authentic South Indian breakfast. <br/>What I did not quite like was the filter coffee as it wasn't strong and almost tasted like instant coffee. On the whole, this place is a good dining place for anyone looking to try South Indian food for the first time!

Great food and good taste!

I ordered palak paneer which was tremendously awesome. The food and the delivery service, both were perfect. Minimal calling and great efforts to deliver. Thank you Chutneys.

Its a mandatory visit for me when iam in hyderabad. Love the south indian served here with a good mix of different chutneys. This time ordered the south indian thali , it had a good spread of dishes, though i had expected efficient coordinated service but it wasnt. the thali came and sat on table for a good 5 minutes before the puri came & by that time the sabzis had all gone room temperature. Told the staff but it went on deaf ears. Really dint expect this at chutneys. Rest all the dishes ordered were good as always<br/><br/>Visited Nov 2019

They gave so little amount of fried noodles and large amount of gravy which was waste...and taste was also not tht great...too heavy prices for 4 bites you eat

Love the chutney!!!!<br/>

The place is famous for authentic South Indian dishes across.<br/>We ordered Guntur Idli, chole Batore with aloo roast and veg chowmen soap.<br/>All tasted superb 😍, the worst part is the price, they charge exorbitantly. It's not the value for money.<br/>The coffee was grt, only place for a good filtered coffee. At the end.. the lassi tasted ok.
Akhila Chintala
The Sambar is AMAZING! Also for people coming from the US and are afraid of eating chutney or lassi Bc of the water... they don’t use water in their lassi and I ate the chutneys and no issues! Would go again! <br/>I would definitely avoid their bathroom tho! I only speak for the women’s 👍🏽
Aruna Nanisetty
Their so called "chutney's spcl spring roll" was very doughy n undercooked n there wasn't much filling at all literally!
Karan Kohli
The 6 variety of Chutneys does justice to its name!
Vik B
One of the highly overrated restaurant. The chutneys are not so fresh tasting. You can get better accompaniments from the road side vendors near Kukatpally. Hygiene was okayish. Its interesting that this has a 4.2 rating despite being average on taste and heavy on pricing !
Dushyant Yadav
Went to chutneys along with wife. Ordered for steam dosas, excellent. All pickles on the table were very good, coconut chutney, ginger pickle were very delicious. Sambar was very nice. Ordered for dahi vada, very tasty. Ambience is very good. Staff is very friendly, professional. Chutneys is perfect for vegetarian food. Visited this restaurant many times for nice food, having wonderful time.
AK
Pathetic place. Dont have parking and valet parking guy got my car scratched badly ..... dont give ur vehicle to valet drivers
Karthik
Taste is hopeless and the chutney is like liquid and really sour in taste and the ginger chutney is also hopeless.i think for online orders these idiots are packing hopeless food.

Unexpectedly visited this place last evening. It was a very quite place with gloomy ambiance. We’ve ordered idli, dosa, noodles and a starter.<br/>Im not a person who prefers idli usually, but this Idli was next level and was very soft. <br/>Rawa dosa was too good and was very soft.<br/>Noodles couldve been better and had lots of capsicum. <br/>Veg spring rolls were the highlight from the whole meal with paneer in it. <br/><br/>And lastly we’ve ordered tea which made me feel better. It had bit of ginger essence and was too good. <br/>

Great place to go for a full day South Indian breakfast experience. <br/><br/>Great dosas and a bunch of variety to choose from. <br/><br/>6 different chutneys, coconut, peanut, pumpkin, corn tomato, ginger, and sweet coconut. <br/><br/>Must try the Bahai Hotel Idly.

This restaurant only focus on extracting money from customers, while paying bill they will remind you about tip even though there service is pathetic and menu is highly overpriced and inflated.<br/>Cudnt really find anything special in menu not even in desserts very common menu with uncommon pricing.<br/>Staff is not concerned about serving but about things like how to make customer order more n more. Infact by default you have to buy water bottles, no option of non bottled water, which every restaurant provides as an option.<br/>They don't even serve pickle or any chutney if you order paranthas....you have to ask for it twiceeeeeee. Also for a plate of chola bhatura that costs 200 rupees, this stingy restaurant serves only single bhatura. Please don't go there, if you are really hungry for a rip off like this.

THE MANAGER HERE IS TYPICALLY RUDE AND ARROGANT.. HE REFUSED TO CHANGE THE STALE OLD RAITA WHICH HAD A LOT OF SUGAR WITH THE NEW ONE<br/><br/>LATER HE GOT THE FRESH RAITA WHEN OUR WHOLE MEAL WAS FINISHED..<br/><br/>HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED WITH THE SERVICE AND HOSPITALITY..<br/><br/>THEY HAVE NO TRAINING AT ALL.. INSTEAD HE STARTED TO ARGUE WITH US FOR BILLING THE RAITA..<br/><br/>SAD !

Sambar is sweet. Most importantly most of the chutneys that are offered are sweet, what this place is famous for. Bournvita was not added in milk, milk was added in Bournvita, so thick. <br/>

Chutneys is a very fast running restaurant that although a little pricey when compared to other vegetarian restaurants, serves very good quality vegetarian food. Ambience is good and service is prompt. Their corn dosa is drool worthy.<br/>Must try:<br/>Corn dosa<br/>Butter masala dosa<br/>Rava masala dosa<br/>Aloo 65<br/>Veg fried rice
Raj Kishore
The place is comfy, very casual and you feel at comfort. Staff is polite and listens to you. <br/><br/>The mint dosa here is a bomb and it is ordered almost always we go there. They can improve a lot on their north indian thali but again its a south indian restaurant so you should accept it the way it is.<br/><br/>Always recommendable for a nice veg family night out.

Amazing authentic food. If you're looking for small meals or breakfast this can be your go to place. Very hygienic but a tad bit heavy on the pocket
Anumeha Awasthy
Just had the worst food in Chutneys Begumpet. We ordered 2 paneer tikka dosas and 1 corn dosa + 1 biryani. Everything was terribly bad with foul smell in paneer, biryani and Raita having too much salt. We had to wait for 45 minutes since the waiter informed us that the paneer had gone bad so they were arranging paneer and that too after 30 minutes when we demanded that others were getting their order who came after us but we were just waiting for 3 dosas and munching on salty biryani. Don’t go to Chutneys . It’s waste of money and will just spoil your evening!!
Roopin Shah
Worse service that I have ever seen, not the first time I had this experience, staff is not responsive at all and is least bothered about anything. I have complained about it earlier, but there is no change. Probably last visit here.

This place is fabulous for breakfast and an decent one too for having Thali's at lunch and you will get tiffins all the day. And coming to the most Important Aspect is the varieties of chutneys they offer. They basically give you 4 kinds of chutneys which are very delicious. I recommend this place for everyone who come to visit hyderabad. Guntur idli and Babai idli are just superb.<br/>Ambience 8<br/>Taste 9<br/>Service 8<br/>Value for money 8

use butter paper or banana leaf to rap food instead of plastic bag...

Chutneys is one of our favourite veg restaurant in Secunderabad..<br/>Recent visit with my friend ordered steam dosa which is one soecial dosa one can't miss there n Guntur idli is a melt in mouth, plain dosa..<br/>There varieties of chutneys are so special that we enjoy eating them more. Sambar there reminds one of Chennai..<br/>Coffee is super too..<br/>Only negative is it's pricy, bit expensive..
Karthika Annam
Got a take out thali parcel for lunch.<br/><br/>We got fried rice, korma, two puri, sambar, rasam, dal, two curries, chutney, curd, sweet rice, one gulab jamun, one papad, two dried chilli.<br/><br/>The fried rice was ordinary. Puri n korma was okay. It's simple veg kurma<br/><br/>Rice grain is strange. Don't know what kind they use. It's not soft also.<br/><br/>Dal sambar rasam are okay.<br/><br/>The brinjal curry and other curry are ordinary.<br/><br/>Sweet rice n gulab jamun are good.<br/><br/>Overall an okay meal for 289 rupees. Quantity is good enough.<br/><br/>I would expect chutneys to serve better food than this. It's below expectations.

I went all alone to this place and I had to wait 15mins to get in. It was a busy day for me and was really running with time. This place is extremely famous and vastly known for South Indian food. So I ordered a South Indian thali. It was a little expensive (RS275) but the taste completely suppressed the high-price feeling. There were more than 6-7 varieties of Curries,2-3 pieces of mirchi bajji, 2-3 pieces potato poppers, 2 types of sweets and a cup of biryani. 3 Poori's and 2papads were also given.<br/>Overall This meal rejuvenated my busy tiring day.<br/>Ambience:3.5/5<br/>Taste 4.5/5<br/>Service and cleanliness:4/5<br/>

Quite regular to chutneys sp road... awesome experience tastefully done interiors. Service crew is very polite n friendly. They will offer you complimentary water bottles of 500ml.<br/>We orderd rava onion masala dosa. Opted masala separately to keep the crispness of dosa intact. Chutneys is only south indian outlet which offers 6 different types of<br/>chutneys along with dosa. All 6 were amazing.<br/><br/>Wow teste with Good pricing ... only masala need little more flavours.

Visited this place many times with family. The breakfast served here is pretty good! From Idly to Pesarattu, all of them tasted good. During the afternoon and evening, they serve North Indian and South Indian dishes (Thali is also served). The appetizers are good, the main course is okayish. The thing which really disappointed me is that they serve Biriyani only on Sundays. Come on! It's crowded many times. To sum it up, it's a great place to have breakfast but not for lunch/dinner.<br/>Food:- 3.5/5 (Breakfast:- 4/5)<br/>Ambience:- 3.5/5<br/>Service:- 3/5<br/>Value for Money:- 3.5/5

Very low customer service they ruined my  little dauther's birthday family meet yesterday night by daming the cake. Manger was not trained at all for customer service. did not even apologies, does not understand the feelings of the customers instead started to lie blaming us. I would not recommend this place at all.

This is a very late review. But better late than never.<br/>So on my visit to Hyderabad, visited this place for lunch.<br/>For lunch time, this place was crowded and we got a table because we were a little early than the regular lunch time.<br/><br/>The interior is a typical restaurant which serves south Indian food. The air conditioning making it bearable to sit in the Hyderabad summer.<br/><br/>So my friend ordered a rava dosa and I ordered a pessarettu. Before the dosas came in an array of chutneys, staying true to their name. The variety of chutneys for one Dosa was mesmerizing.<br/><br/>Both the dosas were perfectly cooked and had a filling of onions and coriander, etc. The amount of onion which was used in the Dosa could have made atleast 5 onion uttappams in pune😅<br/><br/>All the chutneys were amazing and also the sambar. Would certainly be visiting the place again when I visit Hyderabad.<br/>

Came for early dinner to this place, service was bad they get 0 for customer service, attentiveness and lack of hospitality. Food was good but when the service is so bad no amount of food can do justice to this. After multiple reminders staff never got what we wanted and the waiter who served us was rude and impolite.<br/>Note to the staff: please hire people who are polite and attentive!

This is one of the famous restaurants of Hyderabad known for it's Andhra tiffins. It is located close to the Rasoolpura metro station and I visited it to try their Guntur Idly [Rs.95 + taxes] and MLA dosa [Rs.160 + taxes].<br/><br/>The whole place is crowded and I had to wait for 10 minutes before I got a seat. The guntur idly tasted awesome along with the 5 varieties of chutneys and sambhar. It had spicy powder applied all over them along with ghee.<br/><br/>Next the MLA dosa tasted ok but I felt it is priced very high. It is nothing but plain dosa stuffed with lots of upma and topped with butter. The best thing about this place is their fresh coconut chutney with little sugar added to it.
Krishna Veerula
This place is good for breakfast and it offers many types of chutney's , and especially the coconut chutney is too good , the sambar is also very good ,the ambience is also good but the only problem is parking
Francis
Booked an order through Swiggy and as per the delivery agent , chutneys took a long time to hand over the food. Please work on ETA. Or else all is well. Taste and quality the best
Bushra Khan
Food was amazing, like finger licking good<br/>. But god knows maybe it was a bad day for the place, the service was very poor. Definitely looking forward to visit this place again but with better service.
Sandhya
The chutneys that are served for dine in are not the same for delivery? How pathetic! What’s the point in paying such a high price when you cannot maintain standard?
Krutika Patri
Why does Chutneys use small Bisleri bottles to serve water, are those water bottles recycled. They also serve beverages in a plastic, single use cups and straws. When asked for normal water, they bring plastic cups with water or you just receive blank stares. It's terrible, considering how many chutneys outlets are present in Hyderabad and how many of them function this way. This restaurant is the least eco-friendly and unsustainable compared to all other places in Hyderabad. I really think restaurant owners should consider reducing their plastic waste
Sophia Ahmed
We were here for lunch today.<br/>The place is extremely crowded with people having to wait outside for their turn, in huge numbers.<br/>We had:<br/>1. Dosa<br/>2. Puri.<br/>The best part about this place is that it offers a variety in the options for chutney. And each one is better than the other.<br/>There is valet.<br/>The service is great too.
Sanjib
Went for a quick lunch over the weekend. Chutneys has never disappointed me.. Be it now or 19 years back. Had Uttapam flavored in 4 varieties and enjoyed it. Ambience is great, food quality is great and has been retained over the years, price is higher to other joins (but quality compensates it). Overall Service staffs need to be vigilant to customer needs. My daughter loved her dosa, so did the rest of my family. The chutneys were amazing. Also tried the Guntur idli, it had a distinct taste.. Which I liked and it was not spicy as I had thought 😊
Jaya Prakash
I don't know a restaurant can cook do sections of food in very drastic way. Chutney's is very famous for there tiffins and chutney's and I am avid lover of there onion rava dosa. But I had huge shock when my family went for lunch to have meals it's doesn't justify there reputation. I feel there rice is wrong they and Curry's are very limited and taste is below average.<br/><br/>Thali rating 2.25/5
Vijay Balasubramanian
As ever, there have been only two really good veg food options in Hyderabad - chutneys and Minnerva. So you can rarely go wrong with either of them.<br/><br/>The chutneys in SP road is no exception. Proper service, good taste and decent varieties. This one is a no brainer. The only deterrent would be the cost, which is pretty high.<br/><br/>Don't order more than one tiffin, if you have that habit. The portions are pretty big and are prepared very rich.<br/>The coffee is best taken 1/2. It's too much, too much of a good thing, but still too much.
Divya Mulukutla
We came here for a nice evening dinner but the food served here spoilt our entire plan. Started with tomato soup which was too sweet, the above 2 star ratings were for the starters ( mushroom Manchurian, paneer tikka and spring rolls) which were pretty decent. Main course was of worse quality and taste, veg kolhapuri was nothing but excess salt and masala, onion rava Dosa with raw onions and undercooked Dosa. We will never visit this branch of chutneys. Also the service was bad with lousy waiters and staff. Spare your money and go to some better restaurant.
Rajesh Chopra
Visited this restaurant after a year and we were nine of us, as CHUTNEYS is known to churn good food we were sure that it won’t disappoint us. We ordered for North India thalis and South Indian thalis and couple of alacarte South Indian items. The food quality was really disappointing and no where close to the quality served at Jubilee Hills outlet, the food had no taste and North Indian should not be served at all as it was no where close to North Indian taste. The service was pathetic and staff looked lost and no supervision at all, it seems that they are not concerned to customer needs as they get the required footfalls. Top management needs to intervene to bring in major changes for the betterment of place and most of all the quality of food served.<br/>
Yoga
Returning from the exam center we located this restaurant on our return route. They have a banquet hall too so we had a doubt if they would serve lunch. We called and confirmed that lunch would be available. The best part of the hotel was the sweet smiling faces of the staff. They seated us and we ordered thali. South Indian would have been too spicy so we took North Indian thali. The pulkas were just too good. The food was tasty especially the dhal. my son tried the Chole Batura which is good in all chutney restaurants. On the whole a very relaxing lunch. The one point I give less is for the slight delay in service.
Mahima Voleti
Chutneys is great for food. It’s been around for many years and they have perfected their menu. The service at this particular branch is also excellent. The bad rating is because of the management’s attitude towards the environment. They insist on giving you bottled water with disposable glasses. We had to explain to them that we are not trying to save money, we wanted to be not contribute to the plastic menace. I understand some people might want to order bottled water, but it’s appalling they don’t even give their patrons a choice. I really hope this bad rating gets their attention.
Chaitanya Krishna
I had been for a lunch along with my family recently my experience with the food was average thought but the experience with the staff was pathetic. I made a card payment which got declined twice due to some server problem so unpaid by cash however my account was devoted to which Chutneys supervisor said would be credited in two days which never happened upon checking with the bank it was told that the amount was claimed by the restaurant so I ended up paying twice for one meal. When I approached Chutneys Begumpet a supervisor said he will take care of it which never happened till date and while conversations with him<br/>He was so confident that everything would be sorted but in reality those were just fake dialogues now when I try to reach them their head office doesn’t answer phones neither the employees know their own companies email I’d. So I am writing as this seems the only way to address my grievance to the so called brand. I am never going back here and the extra money that I paid I will assume I did charity for the restaurant. Any of you visiting this branch of Chutneys make sure you carry cash as per the supervisor they claim these are regular issues they gave on a regular basis.<br/>
Amruthavarshini Bipeta
Crowded all the time and doesn't even offer table booking. Irresponsible staff. Standards have got down badly. No place for parking and AC doesn't work.
Avinash Jadhav
Best place to have South Indian Dish...<br/>Was there for a tour... Had Guntur Idli as well as Babai idli...<br/>You also get 6 different types of chutneys here.. And all tastes good...
Shrayansh Chopada
The food took really long to deliver
Divya Arora
Ordered baby corn dosa<br/>Not worth it<br/>Full of paneer and very less baby corn<br/>Looked liked paneer dosa and not baby corn dosa<br/>Didn't expect such e thing from Chutneys .<br/>I thought atleast u should be good in dosas, idlies Vadas<br/>But, really disappointed even dosas are not worth it<br/>Not at all good.
Nani Rishi
We had a very bad experience with the service in begumpet chutneys we ordered meals, so here the service was very bad to serve the food and we are not satisfied, infact we are very regular to chutneys and here we phased a bad experience.<br/>
Goutham Dodda
Today chutneys has sent me spoiled rice..utterly shocked with what they have sent . we order from chutneys only because of quality but i think restaurants are taking online deliveries very casually.
Dipti Ranjan Nayak
I love the spices blended. Authentic dosas. My favourite is Guntur Idlis. Chai is good . The go to place for breakfast in Hyderabad. Rasam is also damn good.
Lankaharish05
Enjoyed food over here. It is all time tasty vegetarian food.<br/>Especially I like the sambar and sweet Pongal which serves with South Indian thalli
Vinay
The name is well deserved name because of their different options in chutneys. Ordered boiled dosa and masala dosa, and for the first time i was really impressed by the boiled dosa. <br/> The concept of making dosa without oil being involved, really loved it and the taste of it awesome. Masala dosa really taste quiet normal but the chutneys really gave a life to it. <br/> The prices are being a bit higher but completely worth it.
Saba
Very good taste of chutneys and dosas and very fast delivery than other restaurants,<br/>I will recommend this hotel for people who want to taste different types of chutney's
Pooja Dubey
I liled the ambiance and service of the place. The food served was subtle in taste. Especially the varities of dosas are huge.<br/>Nice place for family dining
Ranjana Patil
Very good place to get South Indian food. Good idly, ghee kharam dosa, Pongal, Wada etc. has good options in North Indian food also but would recommend South Indian food. Good coffee as well. A little expensive though. Nonetheless like the food.
Kashyap Tadikonda
Best restaurant for South Indian cuisine and multiple flavours of chutneys. North Indian & South Indian thali are must try at this restaurant. <br/>Bit expensive for the quantity (only few items)
Harshita Vempati
Chutneys is my go-to place for South Indian breakfast. I have never tasted such delicious sambar anywhere else other than Chutneys. Their spread of Chutneys is also an attraction for food lovers. The prices are a bit high for the quantity but I visit here again and again for the Guntur Idly and Sambar.
N.s. Santosh Kumar
The air conditioning units do not work. The manager Raju is arrogant and will not help you. Food quality is ok. Service is horrible. The management of chutneys, I guess don’t train its employees thoroughly and has turned a blind eye towards making the experience of customer a glad one. Post 10 pm you will be getting their worst behaviour. Will never go again and will recommend people to stay away from this very brand.
Anjanakompally93
This place is extremely bad. Had ordered paneer butter masala from the jain food section and specifically mentioned not to add onions. But once I started eating I have noticed onions. The same was with the fried rice. <br/>This happened not once but twice. When complained to the manager he had not responded well at all.
Manisha Sikinimetla
Best breakfast I had! 😃😋loved Guntur idly.👌..must try! And the ambience is also very good... Finally best place for a best breakfast! Do visit!
Hemalatha K
Nice ambience and polite staff. Bit expensive but it’s worth for taste and presentation😁😁😁 loved different chutneys provided.will visit again to have South Indian food
Kapil Shah
This is my favorite Chutneys.<br/>Garlic dosa is costly (160 bucks) but the taste is unique. North Indian food is also very delicious.<br/>Ambience is really cosy and comfortable.<br/>Also many places around to get your dessert.
Chirag Sahni
The place has got awesome food and have been coming here for years, but had a terrible experience here today with the person named Dilip. Supposedly the senior manager who does not even know or understand how to talk to the guests.
PK
Loved the break fast .ordered Guntur Karam idly , masala onion dosa . Both are awesome . Loved all verities of chutneys . Surly try idly in chutneys
Dev_0909
Have been to this place a lot of times but recently has a very Bad experience at Chutneys. The manager was rude, the place was packed. He sent us upstairs saying there is an empty table their but there was none! Then we calmly went back to talk to him to listen to that we would have to wait for our table after 5 other groups are taken care of. When we asked why he said because you missed your chance by going upstairs.<br/><br/>Seriously? Never going back to this outlet.

I have been to this place along with my family on Sunday for the breakfast. It was really very crowded but luckily we got the table quickly. This place is in Hyderabad for more than 15 years. <br/>The varieties of chutneys and sambar are simple amazing. Glad bcoz it’s very much standardised. The taste of idly, Wada, uttapams, 70mm dosa, baby corn dosa, onion rawa dosa tasted heavenly. <br/>Servicing was too good, no doubt. <br/>Will strongly recommend this place and will obviously visit again.

This place is a superb outlet. Very crowdy indeed and the bug thing about it is , it has space to seat.<br/><br/>The upmas are amazing . The ghee and the 4 types of chutneys they provide is a bliss. The Vadas are , I find costly and also tasty though. Being in the land of Vadas, Idlis, Dosas you can't charge much .

One of those odd times where I prefer eating the thali here than the usual idli and dosa. Nicely done menu for a quick lunch. Even though there are many other restaurants in the city that serve more or less the same I would definitely recommend the thali here.

Chutneys is my all time favorite for South Indian Tiffins and Lunch. Went along with family for lunch on a Saturday.<br/><br/>Surprised to see the Menu was not great for Thali and it was having potato cheese poppers, muruku, some burfi, curd which used to be Chutneys is now outsourced. I do not recall even one of the so many dishes served as tasty. Above all I felt too much of Soda in rice because of which none of us who had lunch could eat anything for rest of day.<br/><br/>It was really a very disappointing experience. Hope others will have better and good experience than us. If yes, you guys are lucky.<br/><br/>Since Food is main reason we went there and came out Total disappointed, it doesn't matter to me how good the service and ambience is.

Good place to eat a meal. Centrally located. Great Thali if you have a large appetite . Both North Indian and South Indian are good . Steamed Dosa is another good option. Attentive staff. Clean restaurant. Valet parking on this busy street makes it a favoured destination for self driving people. Location is bang on the main road.

Never try their North Indian. Just have idli or does and leave straight away. Even their sambhar is like a thick soup and had zero vegetables. Not a good experience here. It was literally empty when we reached there and they treated us like we are invisible. We placed the order and the guy who was serving us was not so experiencd so we excused him but the food didn't taste good except for the chutneys.<br/><br/>

I keep visiting this place frequently.<br/>I only visit here to have my favourite dishes from the restaurant<br/>1. Onion RAVA masala dosa (i bet u cannot find better in whole city)<br/>2. GUNTUR IDLY (will be loved by idly lovers and who like spiciness in their food)<br/>3.STEAM DOSA (this is one of its kind , not available in every restaurant and even if available , cannot match the taste by chutneys)

Bad experience ... Not good for dinner ... If you are ok for dosa idli in dinner it's ok ... Ambience is bad table n chair not even any aroma n all ... About food qualities it's even more poor ... Roti specially - now a days every other restaurants are providing WHEAT tandoor but here it's not available ... Special Curry's you won't get any special feel not even decorate I would have made it better 🤣🤣 opt for any other restaurants which will provide you Mughalai dishes... Staff behaviour is like dumbs...they don't even know ingredients of the special items atleast what vegetables they are going to use 😅

Pathetic morning breakfast, no proper service no proper food .. clear example of neglecting service and quality of food once your brand is popular ..
