Great food and good taste!
I ordered palak paneer which was tremendously awesome. The food and the delivery service, both were perfect. Minimal calling and great efforts to deliver. Thank you Chutneys.
Its a mandatory visit for me when iam in hyderabad. Love the south indian served here with a good mix of different chutneys. This time ordered the south indian thali , it had a good spread of dishes, though i had expected efficient coordinated service but it wasnt. the thali came and sat on table for a good 5 minutes before the puri came & by that time the sabzis had all gone room temperature. Told the staff but it went on deaf ears. Really dint expect this at chutneys. Rest all the dishes ordered were good as always

The place is famous for authentic South Indian dishes across.
We ordered Guntur Idli, chole Batore with aloo roast and veg chowmen soap.
All tasted superb 😍, the worst part is the price, they charge exorbitantly. It's not the value for money.
The coffee was grt, only place for a good filtered coffee. At the end.. the lassi tasted ok.
The Sambar is AMAZING! Also for people coming from the US and are afraid of eating chutney or lassi Bc of the water... they don’t use water in their lassi and I ate the chutneys and no issues! Would go again!
I would definitely avoid their bathroom tho! I only speak for the women’s 👍🏽
The 6 variety of Chutneys does justice to its name!
Went to chutneys along with wife. Ordered for steam dosas, excellent. All pickles on the table were very good, coconut chutney, ginger pickle were very delicious. Sambar was very nice. Ordered for dahi vada, very tasty. Ambience is very good. Staff is very friendly, professional. Chutneys is perfect for vegetarian food. Visited this restaurant many times for nice food, having wonderful time.
Unexpectedly visited this place last evening. It was a very quite place with gloomy ambiance. We’ve ordered idli, dosa, noodles and a starter.
Im not a person who prefers idli usually, but this Idli was next level and was very soft.
Rawa dosa was too good and was very soft.
Noodles couldve been better and had lots of capsicum.
Veg spring rolls were the highlight from the whole meal with paneer in it.
And lastly we’ve ordered tea which made me feel better. It had bit of ginger essence and was too good.
Great place to go for a full day South Indian breakfast experience.
Great dosas and a bunch of variety to choose from.
6 different chutneys, coconut, peanut, pumpkin, corn tomato, ginger, and sweet coconut.
Must try the Bahai Hotel Idly.
Beautiful restaurant on first floo with amazing ambience and delicious food...They provide 6 type of chutneys snd all have different flavors...you can order any south indian dish and all the 6 chutneys will work with it..
But you need to wait for atleast 20min. There Is a separate waiting room at ground floor..
This is a budget place where one person cost is around 200-300INR.
This is one of the joints that we can visit when looking for only Vegetarian options.
The highlight is the variety of chutneys they serve - that includes the newly added Kara Chutney made out of tomato 🍅. Another dish that one should taste is the Guntur Idly or the Podi Idli that's served with Podu strewn all over the idly with Ghee topping.
The one thing which bothers me most is .they stopped serving water in the Jar / Copper vessel /tumbler. They have started giving away the Plastic water bottle - which I feel is not the great thing for this traditional outlet.
Must try place in Hyderabad
They serve food with 6 different chatani
Good family breakfast restaurant
Amazing veg restaurant with a big list of chutneys .. if you are coming here order their specialities. Don't order thali coz if u eat thali then u don't have much space to eat anything else. Babai idly was amazing.. thali was ok but nothing special.. I could have tried many other items. Do order the tea ..it was great..
Enjoyed the babai idly, chole bature and uthappam. Podi dosa was a bit spicy and not appealing in taste. The overall experience was great, the entrance was a little shabby, getting into the restaurant using metal stairs is not great. The elevator access is in the back, you have to walk a bit towards the end of the building, old folks find it hard to walk that far. The manager is making sure that the hotel is clean by close observation.
Very good vegetarian food, especially tiffin and meals, coffee also good, atmosphere is good, only issue with car parking, wallet parking available, if anybody wants to drive car to parking , it is some what difficult.
When compared to the value provided, the prices are on the high side.
The restaurant gets its name from the unique kinds of chutneys they offer.
We choose the Masala Dosa.
The flavour was good but the sambhar was somewhat sweet.
Chutneys were unique and delicious.
Ambiance and service was top notch.
My report card:
Taste: 4/5,
Service: 5/5,
Ambiance: 5/5,
Cleanliness: 5/5,
Value for money: 2/5
The place has been downsized after thw lockdown. The Babia idli with the different varieties of chutneys and sambar was great. The onion masala rava dosa was scrumptious but, the chole batura was a scam- it did not live upto the reputation of chutneys. The coffee was good and certainly a great way to round up a south- Indian tiffin.
Food was excellent. Coming from a south Indian background all dishes served were known to me. Can experience taste with every bite you take and it's unique with different chutneys they provide.
Overall it was good but not unique for me. Everything seemed to be quite expensive.
Just had 2 Idlis (Normal and one Guntur), with an array of Chutneys. These included groundnut (my vote) and another similar one, sweet coconut, tomato, mango chilly and a couple of others.
Somebody should explain the chutneys or add a small tag to them, I had to call and ask them. Though the servers were very courteous, maybe the hotel should own their chutneys better.
Overall, a very short but good experience.
