"Good south Indian food for decent price".
Excellent dosa in the old city of Hyderabad. Service is simple , friendly and quick on table. My favorite is masala dosa. Don't forget to try the chai after the food .

The restaurant is located near Charminar , 400 metres from it to be exact , near Gulzar Houz. It is on first floor inside a complex .
Coming to food , we ordered -
1. Idly Vada - The idly was soft ,fresh and served hot. The Vada was good with balanced flavours. I wish it was a little more deep fried as it seemed the outer layer was a little too soft to my taste I would have preferred it to be a little more crispy
Sambar and chutney - The best Sambar I have had in Hyderabad , finally found something that is close to what I have had in Bangalore. The chutney was also really close too .
2. Poori and Saagu - The Poori was really good too , they were served hot and fresh . It went really well with the Saagu served . The Saagu was really good. It had good balance of flavours.
3. Set Dosa - The set dosa was the best I have had in Hyderabad. The dosa was soft and was neatly roasted and went really really well with the Saagu . They serve 3 large set dosa's which is more than enough to fill one person for breakfast .
4 Ghee Karam Dosa - The Ghee Karam dosa was the best dosa I had here , the dosa is somewhat similar to our Bangalore Masala dosa but lot more Spicy , The Ghee aroma is mesmerizing when the dosa was served . The dosa was perfectly roasted and had good amount of spice in it which went really well with the Aloo palya inside .
Overall The best restaurant I have visited for breakfast in Hyderabad, I had nostalgia of Bangalore when I finished my breakfast here .
The price is pretty nominal and the ambience and service is really good .
Definitely visiting again !

A dingy place, but not difficult to find, Anand Bhavan is another gem of an eatry near Charminar. The food they serve is not only delicious, but worth more than what you pay here.
Their dosa is a must try (Extra Sambar can be had for ₹2 :P) Also try the Malabar Parotta which is served with an Andhra style curry. And the speciality here is the Andhra Platter which is loaded with multiple Andhra curries. For sweets, they have Coconut halwa which is a little extra sweet, but authentic!

Pocket friendly
Been here everytime I go Charminar. This place has never failed to satisfy me with its food.
This is obviously not so high profile and cafe kinda place but decent dosa place - you can say that.
I come here for Pav bhaji though, it's amazing and really really cheap. Filter coffee - the perfect way to enjoy in a cup and plate. Bravo!
The ethnicity and authenticity both are mesmerizing and don't forget the taste. Love the place. A big thumbs up. :D
Good and decent place, parking is a big head ache. Very very easy on pocket, crowd is a problem. Food is excellent, quality is good. Staff is friendly.
I will rate this high since there is no other veg hotel near to charminar, where everyone serves biryani and and other non veg stff. The food is good, rawa dosa specially as good as it can be in this area, uttara etc udapi is good

Oh my god !!!! Chancey illa.. idk how express!! Bcz v r too hungry and v searching fr a good hotels in that circle.. mostly few r too costly and most of them r like do not enter signal !(wuuvaaak) so we walked over quater mile to reach this place.. the usher in was not that much impressive so we climbed the stair and entered!! Welcomed with open kitchen having delivery Counter And crossed reception and money deck and final sat on the chair.. so much hungry leads us to quick book the meal.. so we booked the meal and it continues to open dosa and veg briyani ..
A good place to have vegetarian food. Is really light on the pocket and the services are fast too. They didn't kept us waiting for long and the food was served within 6-7 minutes. Though the waiters are really rude, I loved Puri sabzi and the butter milk was really tasty.

We were looking for a vegetarian restaurant for lunch after a tiring day of sight seeing. It is hard to find a veg restaurant in the locality. This restaurant had average rating and reasonable price in zomato. The restaurant is located very near to Char Kaman(walkable distance from Charminar). We headed there and had the plate South Indian meals. The food was good and quantity was sufficient. The place is not a fancy restaurant but certainly worth every 'Rupee' you pay.
Nice restaurant for pure vegetarians near Charminar, we tried their special masala Dosa which was very nice, made in ghee. Veg biryani was also good, Idli was OK, Ice-cream with fresh fruit was not that good. Overall fooding experience was nice over here.
It's pure veg hotel. Located nearby Charminar. Regular veg thali @70, special veg thali @100. Service is Best.

One of the oldest vegetarian restaurants at Shahraan market. We usually have something here whenever we go shopping in n around Gulzar house. Taste n quality of food is pretty acceptable, neither to good nor too bad.

If you're a Kannadiga or are looking for a Karnataka style Darshini, this is a great choice.
Located in the old city, their food reminded me of Bengaluru (home) and I would visit here if ever I felt like having authentic Karnataka breakfast.
The Vaday was crispy just the way it is meant to be.
The Masalay Dosay's batter felt like home unlike the majority of Hyderabadi dosay joints that serve inedible to uber-cripsy dosays that just doesn't cut the deal for a Dosay aficionado like me.

Foods are really very good in taste like idly, vade, Masala dose, pav bhaji.. Etc. very friendly staff. Best vegetarian restaurant in old city. Must visit place in Hyderabad.

The food was so good the taste and the service is also good , they are maintaining quality and quantity , if you visit charminar and wanna have some quick snacks then this is the best place to grab south indian dishes they also serve fast food like fried rice , tomato rice and they also have chat item pani puri , pav bhaji and so on i would like to recommend this best place to all the people who love to eat.
