Visited Nov 2023. I was lucky to notice this place. I was wandering around the fort when I was told there was a 'cannon viewpoint' nearby. When i reached there I saw this tiny cafe. On a whim I ordered a coffee, i was pleasantly surprised when the owner, Amit, asked me how exactly I wanted it. He prepared the coffee exactly as I wanted. Something I was sorely missing in Jaisalmer. I made it a point to come here every morning and night after that - my hotel was close by. He also serves tea & some snacks. Recommended. Did I mention the superb view ?

What a lovely spot for sunset— or anytime! Really nice people who warmly welcomed us travelers. Definitely worth a stop for a cold beer or soda and snack. 👍🌟

Went to Jaisalmer fort and then the first thing we did was go to this City view point. There we found this small cafe and the people with big hearts. The conversation about Jaisalmer was just as amazing like the food. We literally had a great time and if you're planning to go to Jaisalmer, you need to go City View Cafe (It's in Jaisalmer fort itself). Trust me you won't regret any of it. The hospitality of the people, the most humble person I've met. Just ask for Pankaj bhaiya over there! He'll let you know everything!

Excellent experience...I have been to goa kashmir and almost every tourist destination in india,but this is best cafe I have ever visited ..Mr Amit (the owner) is super friendly..he explained everything about the city in detail (even more than any guide would tell u)..I visited with my family in dec 2023..coffee and kesar tea was awesome..highly recommended..must go.

Great cafe to enjoy the view of the Golden City over a cuppa chai and their specialty cheese maggi! The owner is very friendly, spent 4 hours just chatting with him till sunset and even returned two days later for seconds!
