Very good hotel and staff food service also room
Spent our New Year's Eve here.
It was majestic and the part i loved the most was the evenings were they had art in the form of puppetry and music every night we stayed.
The buffet spread could have been better as the food options were not to my liking.
The rooms were kinda small but the centralized heating was working fine.
Had a very pleasant stay at Gorbandh Palace. The hotel is fairly close to the city. When they say Gorbandh Palace, they do mean the word "palace". I will deliberately say nothing more about the property, trust me, just go and explore the hotel, it's something worth experiencing.
Staff is super helpful and friendly. Food is crazy good.
When there's nothing to criticize, I resort to picking on minor issues which we faced in our room (can be improved very easily). (a) Hot bathing water (b) Door lock was stiff, had to put some effort to open.
Good palace of HRH Group....you feel +ive vibrations of Mewar repute . However rooms decor need renovated looks & specially locking system to be replaced with new smart locks for convenience of guests.... However, our one night stay was comfortable. Overall it's a nice property & food also good.
The place is amazing, the atmosphere, staff, service everything is really remarkable.
I personally found food prices to be little on higher end, apart from that fact, place offers spa, swimming pool, a good bar and other amenities.
Well, due to covid guidelines of the State spa amd swimming pool aren't available for use right now.
A very good property away from hustle of the city. We enjoyed our stay with a heritage palace feel. Unfortunately there was no cultural or other activities in the hotel due to covid-19 restrictions. Staff were maintaining good hygene but need to regulate the visitors who do not follow the rules. The room furniture, bed and linens were old and need to be maintained. Room cleanliness also need to be improved. Hotel food and breakfast buffet was good.
The Hotel is Spacious and has a big lawn.Every Evening Local People Play their Traditional Music.Food and Breakfast is Decent Quality. Staff is Co operative.Only Downside is that Hotel is a bit far from City and it might get difficult to get Rickshaw from there.Service is Okayish.
we booked suites and they were luxurious (12th-14th August 2021). The food was good and the Place is well maintained. The staff needs to take some efforts and offer Historic Tour of the palace as it has a history to it . the location is nice and accessible . they have good arrangement for drivers too . Good experience overall .
I stayed here for two days. The property is very nice and gentry is also good. I recommend this place to stay. You will have a real feeling of staying in a heritage property. Pool side is also very clean and attractive. Food quality is superb. May be the cost is on the higher side but you have limited option in Jaisalmer to dine out. Overall highly recommended for Hotel as well as Jaisalmer City a big thumbs up.
Amazing property spread across a huge area. The staff is extremely polite and courteous. The rooms are well maintained and hygienic including bath tubs. Tariff is under 8k for the breakfast option along with taxes. Do check it out!
