I visited this restaurant to have some lunch after visiting the local zoo, which was only a 5 min drive away. The restaurant served both Gujrati Thali and a la carte food, but we chose our food from the a la carte menu. We ordered 2 Cheese Naans, kashmiri polau, harabhara kebab, and 2 varieties of Paneer (paneer butter masala and paneer makhani). Although the food took some time to prepare, we were not disappointed by the quantity and the presentation of the food. The taste of the food was nice, and the cheese naan was both stuffed with cheese and sprinkled with cheese (very nice!). However, one of the cups was not fully clean, as well as some of the bowls. Otherwise the experience was very good, and overall was a pleasant experience.

Must visit place for lunch / dinner if you are around Junagadh railway station. The restaurant is just 2 minutes walking distance from the railway station. This restaurant mainly serves Gujarati thali. Most thing I liked about this restaurant is ambience and cleanness. Service is also fast.Taste is also very good. Delicious food. Highly recommended restaurant in Junagadh.

With crowds pouring in even on a weekday for dinner, it certainly makes sense why Petals has a popularity for its food amongst many other restaurants. On the obvious note, the ambience and atmosphere are quite lovely and the kitchen is certainly equipped with great good features, devices and utensils. It shall come as no surprise if it is one the few moderately modernized restaurants of Junagadh. While it still has a long way to come along to be recognised on the map for everything else, this author shall talk about his experience as a hungry individual, who came in on a Thursday night. The menu screamed Punjabi food from first sight, and it was quite disappointing to see the Gujarati menu and others quite limited, constrained and cornered in the scattered menu, but the explanation of how each and every dish is served and cooked is something this foodie loved to see on the fancy and elongated and choosy menu. After skimming and skipping so many options, due to the limitations of my hunger. This author decided to order Paneer Angara, a Garlic Naan, a Tandoori Roti and a glass of Masala Buttermilk. Speaking of the food, it was quite uniquely prepared and served, but the taste was divine and exquisite. The Garlic Naan was absolutely amazing and had fine pieces of Garlic sprinkled on every centimetre of the base bread. It was heavy but ultimately delicious. Speaking of the curry, it was nothing like Paneer Angara I have tasted before. Paneer wasn't just cut and grilled and sauced but it was crumbled, spiced, coated, and fried till it's deep golden brown and served with the smoky, spicy, hot and delectable gravy that reeks of juicy tomato, onion and garlic flavours and the strong yet unanimously fragrances and heat of all the variety of spices, served on a sizzling plate. It was such a satisfying affair almost as if I've been eating all the fake versions of Paneer Angara until then. The Tandoori Roti was a fine piece of work and the Masala Buttermilk was a beautiful way to end the meal. The accompaniments that were there include the fryums, which were crispy and fresh, pickle and chutneys that were just flavour bombs and the sweet lime juice which was sweeter than expected but still very happy on the palate as a cleanser and chilling to the tummy. The service was formidable, the furnishings were just fine and all said and done, while the meal was very heavy but also very satisfying, this restaurant has won attention and respect from this author as a food-lover. I would definitely recommend this restaurant which is so close to the railway station, after a day's travelling and touring about the historical city of Junagadh and the nearby hilly and forested spots that require one too many treks to reach amazing spots. Drop in for some very flavoursome Punjabi food especially that fits the budget perfectly. I rate it a generous 3.5 to be precise.

Amazing food and great serving staff and good restaurant. It’s on Junagadh station road, it may seem a road with no much business buildings but don’t get fooled by it. It’s a good restaurant.
