We stopped at New Form Restaurant for lunch during our family trip to Wayanad. The restaurant is in Kalpetta town. We stopped here to try some Malabar biriyani but changed our minds after seeing the menu.
We tried the Beef rib Mandi, Chicken Mandi and lemon soda.
The beef rib Mandi came with 2 pieces of beef which was well cooked with a bunch of spices and was a treat for the eye and the pallet.
The Chicken Mandi came with one enormous piece of chicken which is quite difficult for an adult to finish on their own. The chicken was a perfect balance of salt & spices and cooked welll
The Mandi rice served for both were the same - long rice cooked with herbs.
The Mandi were served with four sauces - Schezwan, mayonnaise, tomato and mint & a portion of salad.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at New Form Hotel, a hidden gem near the old bus stand in Wayanad. The restaurant opens at 9:00 AM and closes at 11:00 PM, offering ample dining opportunities throughout the day.
One of the standout features of this place is its exceptional cleanliness and hygiene standards. The restaurant is impeccably clean, and the staff takes hygiene seriously, which is reassuring, especially in current times. The welcoming ambiance enhances the dining experience.
But what truly makes New Form Hotel special is its delectable food. Their menu is a culinary journey through Wayanad, offering a wide variety of dishes that cater to different tastes. From traditional local cuisine to more familiar options, the food is of high quality, with fresh ingredients and authentic flavors.
What's even more appealing is the affordability of the food. You can enjoy a memorable meal without straining your wallet.
The staff is friendly and attentive, making sure your dining experience is enjoyable. In a nutshell, New Form Hotel is a must-visit in Wayanad if you seek a clean, hygienic, and affordable restaurant that serves authentic and delicious food. It's a hidden treasure, whether you're a local or a visitor. Don't miss out!
NewForm is a famous restaurant in Kelpetta, Wayanad, which has two different sections, one for Kerala and the other for Arabian cuisine. So don't go to the Arabic section and order Neychor & Beef fry like I did 🥲.
Food is very good and flavourful, not costly at all. Neychor and beef fry had good quantity and the porotta was exceptionally good too, you'll know it took a good beating 😂.
