Okay so, let me first introduce you to this place called "chirag hotel". It's a very underrated place. They serve the best chicken here. Although personally I am not a great fan of tandoori chicken but if you are into eating alot of meat then this is your type of place! The rates are very low and pocket friendly. 300₹ for two is quite a good deal. Just one thing, it is located very remotely near a masjid so kindly avoid going late at night. Anyway it is a nice place with good ambiance and helpful staff. Overall ratings would be 10/10 if i don't consider my food preferences. Please order papad here, it's something different that I tried

Best Non veg food here My hypothesis is that any dish which contains the ingredient ‘butter’ in its name will certainly not disappoint: Butterbeer (hello wizarding fans); Peanut Butter (or any of its nutty counterparts); Butterscotch (especially if we are talking about chunks of it in my ice-cream) and Butter Chicken (best enjoyed when served with warm naan). I have long been a believer in the fact that the amount of butter used in a recipe can only ever be greater than or equal to the amount of love the cook has for those whom she is preparing the dish. It is no surprise then, that Butter Chicken has won hearts and tastebuds throughout the world because of the generous lashings of butter perfectly dissolved into a thick tomatoey gravy that has absorbed the sultry spices of the tandoor-roasted chicken. The dish takes you on a rollercoaster of sensations with every bite; it is mildly spicy, with a hit of sweetness from the tomato base; the mix of butter and yoghurt makes it creamy and; the juices of the spiced chicken give it a tangy touch. The humble origins of this dish can be traced back to a talented young chef named Kundan Lal Gujral (who had already been credited for inventing Tandoori Chicken and would later go on to create the renowned Dhal Makhani). He had fled to Delhi from Pakistan following the partition and started a restaurant called Moti Mahal. Chef Kundan saw that the tandoori chicken skewers which did not get sold during the day, would go to waste, and so he thought of cooking that same chicken in a sauce to soften it. That sauce was the sauce that propelled this culinary genius into legendary fame and has kept his soul alive through the makers and eaters of Butter Chicken. My first exposure to this dish came from my Dad, a trained chef and lover of Indian cuisine. His Butter Chicken is renowned amongst our circle of family and friends and it is a dish he always prepares whenever we entertain at home. We have visited this place 2-3 times. For first time we had a good experience but after that we faced lot of service problem. Some waiters are very arrogant and doest even bother to ask u what to serve. They don't mind to ask u for the choices. The biggest problem in Muslim restaurant is they keep 2 options in all dishes of chicken bone or boneless. But they will never ask u for it and by default they will serve u chicken with bone. Which will have lots of bone and very less of meat. This guy did the same and when we asked him that why didnt he asked us before serving and his reply was very arrogant that we should know it before. That's not written actually anywhere in menu card. Service was good but ambience wasn't quite pleasant. Since the restaurant is at one corner of the city surrounded by row houses around all the way it is not good to go with your Bae because mostly Men pay visit there. Lollipop and Kabab were awesome but Chicken biryani was exactly opposite that. Literally this is the first ever tasteless Biryani I had in my life. No spice. No salt. Obviously no taste.

Chicken crispy and Murg mussallam are must try and chicken Afghani comes out to be a surprise as the traditional cuisine will make you feel awe. Only problem is ambience as it becomes quite noisy and have to wait for some time during peak hours. This place is where I have my mandatory weekend dinner with friends. Small in space but scores huge in taste. This restaurant is just a minute drive away from Durgadi killa. Food here is great in taste  and Firni is a must have. The service is quick and they deliver food within their locality only but I wish they deliver to khadakpada. .

On Saturday I travelled to Kalyan and met my friend and was really starving finally my friend took me to Chirag and the food which we had was totally worth waiting. We again travelled there on the next day had a lunch there... The tikka which I had was perfectly cooked and juicy. I had a check on the hygiene which they follow which was good.

A typical Irani style restaurant specialized in tandoori cuisine(non veg off course). Seating is normal, not like a family resto. Delicious tandoori chicken, butter chicken biryani etc. Their firni is also very good. They have a family section too. It's been in the business since 25 years and carved a name for itself in kalyan's culinary history. <br/> Though it's already popular for the famous biryani and chicken tandoori. I would suggest you to try the deep fried tikka masala kebabs. Crispy, spicy and juicy pieces of spicy chicken served steamy hot from the huge oil kadai.<br/><br/>Some unknown gems of this place are dal gosht and kheema eaten mostly with shirmal (local yeast bread speciality)<br/><br/>Try the paya curry (goat trotters) with bhakri (rice flour chapati) for a change if you visit again. Or order ravas chilly if you have a craving for fresh fish.<br/><br/>Remember to leave some space in your tummy so that once you step out of Chirag just turn right towards Aayan Icecream and enjoy a exclusive sancha malai scoop served in a cup of kesar flavour milk. It tastes some what like butterscotch Icecream milkshake.<br/><br/>And before you leave the area may be take a parcel pack of Gaula which is a sweet dish only found at a small stall of Maqsoodbhai opposite Chirag hotel. The place is somewhat in a corner of kalyan not known to many people and may /may not qualify for a family restaurant. So after my cousin kept telling about the awesome tangdi in Kalyan and that he comes all the way from Vashi to just eat this, I decided to go check out hotel Chirag. The place is too much to the interiors in Kalyan and is difficult to find. However they have a Huge board outside so you don't miss the place. Orders for a full tandoori and trust me when I say I had the yummiest tandoori in years. Tasted just wow. I've also heard that you should try the tangdi and tikka from there. Next time maybe. Cantvtalk about ambiance or service. Its a small place. But to quench your chicken hunger, this is the place.

Quality isn't that good anymore. People still visit this place just because of hype. Had chicken tikka and biryani. Tikka seemed undercooked from within. Biryani' quantity was less and average in taste.

One of the best restaurants in the city of Kalyan to serve you the authentic taste of Mughlai cuisine.Quite spacious and comfortable. They also have a separate section for family Taste and quality is quite incomparable to any other mughlai restaurant atleast in the city that I have visited in so many years.

Great! One of the best yet pocket friendly hotel in Kalyan. Heaven for chicken lovers..good ambience..good hygiene..no beef served..taste 'Ferni'..it's awesome! Not too many options available for veggies. Still a good place to hang out.
