Variety of biriyani's available..the best part k liked was the availability of veg biriyani and their service. Price seems to be a bit high from the normal but you can try it once.i found the taste like a mixture of Thalassery and kozhikoden biriyani.

Ajwa is a really nice place in Kannur where you can get delicious biriyani. We tried the leghorn chicken biriyani and it was really tasty. We also had some chicken fry, but it was just okay, not too special.

Man o man was I in for a treat. So this place was recommend by a friend of mine and I decided to go there. The place was packed during lunch and I ordered the special mutton biriyani, one chicken fired leg and a piece of fish which is a big piece from the biriyani which served separately. When I got my biriyani, 3 piece of mutton which I got was bones and I was let down and I told them about the situation and they immediately Brought me a plate with full of mutton with some excellent pieces! The rice was very flavour full, the mutton was exquisite like melt in your mouth soft and tasted so good! The chicken fired leg was crispy and tender, the fish tastes pretty good too. I wouldn't blame them on the mutton bones initially cause when it was hot it must have come off and they rectified the problem too. And to top it all off I had a lemon tea which was excellent, very refreshing. So if your ever in this part of town and just want some excellent biriyani, don't hesitate check this place out. You won't be disappointed. Your gonna come out with a happy tummy and fully satisfied.
Can say the best biriyani in kannur. No words, Its delicious. You can feel the difference from Other biriyanis. There is a unique flavor that you can feel. 2 piece biriyani is sufficient for 1, and you need something heavy go for 3 pieces. Also must try the chicken fry, it's worth. The new shop is near kalyan silks. Don't go to the older places which are in YouTube reviews. They have parking available in front of the shop but can't park more cars. Place is not much crowded when I visited last. But can expect on peak time and weekends. Dining area is neat and clean and excellent service as well.
The best old style original porotta I had recently. Nowadays you font get this kind of porotta anywhere. Its really awesome.. After having it once I really waited to go there just to have those. It's worth it. We even bought some parcel and even on 2nd day it tasted really good.
And Biryani is also good. The only think is that the chicken kurma that you get here doesnt go with the porotta.. Rest all are good.
Mutton biriyani highly recommended. Service good. Clean ambience. The meat the provide is so fresh. Chicken fry was average not that great. And they are good at making biriyani more than any other dishes. I am adding their menu card also along with this.
