It has a Fantastic Terrace view.
Ambience, Service, Location - 5/5
Hot Chocolate - 5/5
Egg Grilled Sandwich - 2/5
I did not liked the smell from Egg Grilled Sandwich for whatever reason!! Taste was ok.
Hot chocolate was good.
These are little expensive for sure but Hot chocolate is worth giving a shot!
Close to western group of teples / next to exit gate .
Food : was good , had English breakfast. ( beans was salty , can be taken care of ) .
Parking , ample for 2 wheelers next to entry gate of Raja Cafe. For 4 wheelers ample space near temple ticket counter . My motorcycle was safe with a safe parking space
They serve beer and have air-conditioned rooms with ground and roof top areas . Beer was apt chilled served with papad. Kingfisher beer is what you get .
Smoking zone : yes / allowed , not inside AC rooms .
They have indian cuisine as well for lunch and dinner .
Assuming the staff speaks multi international language .
Avoid the touts outside pushing to sell stuff including rooms to stay . Ignore !
Indian customers : you may see a lot of foreigners inside , do not feel ignored for a second. Walk in straight , the staff is courteous and polite , service will be taken care of equally . Thts what I experienced during my visit ( twice ) . All good !
Ambience : good.
Music : didn't hear one bf and lunch time . Possibility during dinner time / evening .
##: your staff will look good in a uniform . Get them some cafe branded cool tshirts / hoodies.
Expensive : not really . INR 1000 to 1500 or less should work for an individual . Depends what uve ordered .
Great hangout place for foreign nationals .
Cheers !

We came from Germany to visit Khajuraho together with our friends from Chhatarpur city. Raja Cafe is located opposite to the western group of temples in Khajuraho. I would suggest you to start visiting temples in the afternoon around 4pm and end up coming out around 6.30 pm through the left gate from where you can see Raja Cafe already. We got the prime seats on the deck with such a great view. The whole atmosphere is so great there and they made it so beautiful! For a moment we thought we were sitting in an open German restaurant. We even had some Germans sitting next to our table. Food was so delicious and served very hygienic. It's bit over priced there, but compared to many tourist places it is still cheaper and you come out without any regret!
Just cant stop raving about the great foods this place serves. Not for no reason this place is iconic. Perfect location. From the terrace, the temples of khajuraho are visible. So what i did was sip on my strawberry iced tea and enjoy the marvellous views.
We tried English breakfast, chilli chese toast. And strawberry iced tea.
English breakfast was so good and i can say that the best i have had till now. The has brown was absolutely fabulous, masala omelette was terrific, and the smokey baked tomato was delicious. Baked beans were tangy, spicy and so comforting.
Chili chese toast was fabulous
The best was strawberry iced tea. We loved it so much that we repeated it. And crave for it all the time.
Portion of all the items are really good.
In the twenty four hours I spent in Khajuraho, I tried Cafe Raja for dinner, breakfast and lunch, in that order. The menu offers a range of Indian and European choices, with generous portions and reasonable prices.
Upstairs, the decked seating area overlooks the Western temples complex, easy on the eye while sipping masala chai and nibbling on hot buttered toast.
This place was the first place I visited in Khajuraho after reading on internet. We saw all people we met in train assembling at raja Cafe in the end. So the popularity of this place is apparent.
Location couldn't have been better. Western group is just right in front of your eyes while you sip your beer.
Food, though nice but a little dissappointed in food.
Naan with humus, cold coffee, pizza was nice. All non veg was good too.
Pasta, veggies were too bad.
Located very close to Western Group of Temples. The ambience is beautiful and food is good. They have indoor AC area and roof/outside area. Just be cautious of birds poop while sitting outside. Although, the place is a bit costly and service little slow but a great experience to eat here.
Recommended place to visit here after sunset.
Had a nice lovely dinner here. The lemon Ice tea was quite good, the strawberry ice tea was a bit too sweet. The special southern chicken is a signature dish, do try. The roads mutton wasn’t that good.
Cafe is located in western group of temples in Khajuraho …. Open sky sitting arrangement on terrace is awesome… views of temples from this cafe is superb… superb service, very courteous staff… Menu is very rich… Indian , continental or European whatever you say… Beer is available… we tasted almost all items during our three day stay in Khajuraho … all items taste superb… you would not get this even in best of the hotels …
Celebrated daughter’s birthday here ..😊 Awesome memory of the place
Go to this cafe after sunset
We enjoyed this place thoroughly…
😊😊😊
A good vibe and happy ambiance make this place enjoyable with your food and drinks. Variety of cuisine, freshly prepared served by humble and friendly staff. A bit costlier, parking available, dine in area for all type of groups even give you a choice of open sky and under roof. Try once.
