Solanki Cold Drink House

We visited this place twice on our trip to Kolhapur. Taste of the icecream at this joint is superb. We loved the Solanki Special Cocktail and the Chocolate Mastani and ended up eating the same both the times. It was awesome and we'll visit again when we're in Kolhapur. Super service and great taste. This place is slightly on the inside not directly visible. On the corner of Jotiba road. Do visit when you're here. We visited here again on Dec 08 2023. And this place never disappoints. Try the special cocktail.

One of the best place in kolhapur as I visited this place from my childhood. Two things you should try over here is mini cocktail with cake and milk cold drink.

Thinking to have a dessert in kolhapur? Head to this place without a second thought. The taste of the items served here is class apart, nothing as lovely as Solanki! Had tried the most different item here i.e. Milk soda! Its a perfect combination of vanilla milk and soda. The best item as per my taste. The next thing to try here is the Vanilla falooda, the taste is heavenly! You can also try the Lassi which again is amazing. The place is hygienic and has a humble staff. Unfortunately couldn't click much pictures, but still could manage one in the low light.

Best place for ice-cream lovers near Mahalaxmi temple, Kolhapur. After having Darshan of Ambabai, one must visit this small sized ice-cream parlour located at the Gujari (Saraf Katta : Golden ornaments market)corner of Kolhapur city. It's just at a walkable distance from the famous Mahalakshmi Temple... just on the way to the car parking place at Bindu Chowk. I have enjoyed various ice-creams n Dudh Coldrink here right from my childhood. I myself and my whole family including my kith n kin in and around Kolhapur just love cocktail ice-cream available here. It's similar to the Gadbad ice-cream available at many eateries in Pune. But the cocktail ice-cream taste here just surpasses the taste of Gadbad ice-cream. The strict vegetarian persons should specifically mention while ordering cocktail ice-cream here that cake need not be served. Coz the cake here does contain egg. However, without cake too, the taste of the cocktail ice-cream is just superb ! We can get one scoop or two or three differently flavoured scoops n the price varies accordingly. One with two scoops is priced at Rs.120. Cocktail ice-cream ... Single scoop ... is priced @Rs.100. Cocktail ice-cream contains fresh fruit pieces ... Real alphonso mango chops are added in the summer season ...dry fruits, yummy thick special milk cold drink, jelly pieces and a wafer biscuit stick. It's really really delicious ... consuming it is a genuinely relishing experience !!! In addition to magical cocktail ice-cream, handmade pot ice-creams of various flavours too are available here. A MUST TRY ICE-CREAM PARLOUR IN KOLHAPUR !!!
