A place in the heart of every Kolhapurian running since decades to serve misal. Dahi Misal the dish for which they are well know about. The taste is good and not too spicy. Well blended coconut over the top seasoning adds a pretty charming flavor making it special from other misals.
Ambiance is not the one which should be considered when it comes to Good Misal. Quite old place. Average ambiance and service.

I had a wonderful experience at Bawada Misal. The restaurant is one of the oldest and most popular places for misal in Kolhapur, with a legacy of over 100 years.
Their service is fast, ambience is simple and clean. The staff was friendly and attentive.
The misal was delicious, spicy, with a rich and complex flavor. The bread and mixture were fresh but not crunchy.
NOTE:- I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves misal pav, BUT if you like to eat misal with Farsan then avoid this place because they use poha chiwda insted of farsan.
Wonderful taste. The misal is so authentic and the ambience is vintage. The kitchen and surrounding is clean and hygienic. It makes the place more convenient.

I visited today “ Bawada Missal” location. It was amazing . It’s very challenging to maintain 100 years same business. And they maintained very small things from vintage day to till time. And missal is very good there serve very different way. And service very good. 👍👍👍👍

The misal was spicy. Use lemon, curd to beat spiciness. Eat less red curry to control spice. Keep bottle and paper napkin handy.The bread slice was good. Solkadi perfect! The place gives good vibes and satisfaction. One thing which I didn't like is toilet smell near entry point.
Visited this place after nearly 20 years and still get the same vibes, see those photos of celebrities... and of course, The Taste!
