They basically serve various types of Bangladeshi Dishes. Food quality is super. But one thing i did not like the qualtity, it is very very much less . Specially for rice items . Even the rice quantity is not enough for an adult person.
They serve chickn and mutton items in 3 piece each plate. So if you want to share one plate in two you can't.

It is one of the famous restaurants in Kolkata when it comes to authentic Bengali cuisine. Recently my friends hosted my Aiburovat there. They ordered vetki paturi mahavoj thali for me. There was Rice, Pulao, Dal, jhuri ALU vaja, Lau chingri, vetki paturi, Mutton, chatni, papad, misti doi and salad. The quantity of Rice and Pulao both were abundant. I liked the taste of the pulao, it was balanced not the regular extra sweet one types. I loved the taste of the lau chingri. That exhibited precision in the art of cooking. The vetki paturi was made with fresh fish and the size of the piece was really good as well as the whole preparation. Moving to the mutton, the slow-cooking technique employed was evident in the breakdown of collagen fibers in the mutton. This meticulous process allowed for the infusion of spices, creating a complex flavor profile and a tender texture. Chatni was an okay type but there was something wrong with the papads. It seemed that those were not well fried. I enjoyed the misti doi also. Overall the thali was more than enough for one person. One thing that was less average was the straberry lassi. It was extremely sweet and tasted awful.
The ambience of the restaurant was pretty good but a bit congested. The service was great they even allowed us to sit and wait for almost 1 hour for one of my friends. But remember one thing they don't offer any special arrangements of any occasion. They also serve mini and medium thalis.

Looking for Bengali food near Esplanade?__ this is the one. Kasturi offers some fresh and quality Bengali food at moderate prices. This outlet is located around 15-20mins walk from Esplanade and also at a 10mins walk from Park street. Coming to food we tried their fish cutlets with mustard sauce (cutlets contained pure Bhetki fish) which costed around 180rs and were great. We also tried kochupata diye chingri (kasturi special and a highly recommend dish), polao and chicken duckbunglow (another recommended one). At last we tried their mocktails which was quite refreshing. However, this outlet having a limited capacity of seats offers a waiting area. The management of resturant is quite good.

Great variety of Bengali dishes! I visited 4 times during my stay in Kolkata I found this to be the best place to sample a huge amount of local food! The staff spoke English. I especially recommend the banana blossom curry, the eggplant in yoghurt curry sauce and their famous chingri pathiri.
Also, the staff should not really emphasize that service charge is not included as if begging for a tip 😏

The pulav rice was not so soft and the chicken that i ordered was simple chicken curry nothing different because i have eaten chicken dak banglow before hand the quality of food is Very bad and the staffs were not working properly they were cleaning the tables properly neither they were santising them.

I would visit this place with mum whenever we went shopping in New Market. Things are a bit different now.<br/>This place doesn't have a set menu, the items they offer are shuffled everyday. The waiter will put to display a tray full of food that is available to order on that given day, and you can pick and choose what you want. The only shortcoming is that you don't really know the price for which the dishes are available unless you ask the server.<br/>I've always found this restaurant full of Bangladeshi tourists, and for some reason the hygiene of the place isn't very well maintained. The toilets are always stinky even if I go to just wash my hands. One time a lady came out of the toilet stall looking like she had showered in there.

Went to this particular outlet few months back. Ordered rice, chicken sheel e baata, kochu paata diye chingri, dhokar dalna and chicken dak bunglow.<br/>Coming to the food one by one now:<br/>Chicken sheel e baata: Absolutely fell in love with this. I guess this has to be a rendition of some bhorta from Bangladesh. Whatever it was, 'twas hella tasty! Chicken cooked off in onion, ginegr and garlic and then pasted. Can't go wrong.<br/>Kochu paata diye chingri: First time they bought the dish, it had an off smell. Told them and they changed it immediately, which I liked. The taste was good with bold flavours of mustard and good quality prawns. <br/>Dhokar dalna: I found the dhoka to be a bit on the tougher side and the gravy lacked a certain zing that may have been provided by a bit more of cumin.<br/>Chicken dak bungalow: I had better dak bungalows. That's all I can say. It was all good and everything, but somehow I couldn't quite like it as the other dishes.<br/>I would also recommend you guys to try out posto bora, chingri malai curry and their Ilish dishes. They are good.

Ok,let me clear this first before any confusion this review for the branch of kasturi which is located at 7a, mustaque Ahmed Street, kolkata 700016.<br/>Now lets begin. I ll try to keep it short as many of my friends told me to keep the review the short.<br/>I gave two star as i have no option to give it 2.5 stars.<br/>We ordered kachupata chingri bhapa which is may be signature dish from this restaurant but trust i really felt no extra ordinary thing in this dish as usual they posto and sorse and kachu pata and mixed it in the mixy or use sheel to paste it and then very small size chingri. Nothing special as usual u don't need to go to Restaurant for this item.<br/>2nd bhetki paturi, ok there is a problem with the fish they used in my paturi as i iot lil bit smell and again no special taste and i got couple of bones which is actually not expected in any paturi dish.<br/>3rd chicken dhakai bhuna, well what can i say may be i have no knowledge but i receive which we used to know chicken curry and when i told them that i ordered bhuna they told us this is the bhuna in Bangladesh. So this is bhuna, may be Bangladeshi people dont eat chicken curry cz here what the waiter says bhuna and curry is same atleast for chicken in Bangladesh, STRANGE!! I thought chicken bhuna means grated chicken or small pieces of chicken.<br/>4th we ordered fish finger, the coating of fish finger is so thick so thick that fish has very lil place to be in that fish finger. They are giving very very lil amount of fish in the fish finger.<br/>5th sona muger dal, dal is really filled with water, you shouldn't serve like that shouldn't.<br/>And plain rice nothing to say.<br/>Let me tell you why i gave 2.5 stars.<br/>1. Seriously?? And i i got bad smell from the seats and wash basin also not clean.<br/>3. ISSUE WITH FOOD, many item i tried to order was not available? And forcing me to order what they want. NO this is not how this works you can't dictate my order and Kasturi famous for Bengal cuisine why are you forcing me to order mughlai? I have better option in mughlai. We went there on Ashtami , the place was veryyy crowded and we had to wait 45 mins to get our seats .<br/>They left us at our table unattended for about 30-40minutes more . First of all the way the served menu was not good. There was no menu written at all. I was wondered. The waiter showed us a thali full of several bowls containing some of dishes. So we didn't get much option to choose. Also for this we didn't understand the price of each item until billing. We have ordered, Rice, fish head daal, alu vaja, kochu pata diye chingri, Vetki paturi, chicken bhuna and mutton. The service was good, the food was served fast. I like that kochu chingri specially. The waiter said Vetki paturi contain 2 PC of it, it seems to less in amount. Overall good. But menu should be provided to the customer.

Perfect place for a bangali bhoj, the way they cater to their customers is really unique. Food is also top notch, can't get over their chingri malaikari. Their cooking is worthy of all the praise it gets.<br/>Ambience needs attention IMHO, I had found the sinks clogged and overflowing with water during both my visits.

Let me start with the positives. We ordered two mini thalis between three of us. We were planning to order 3 thalis but the waiter advised us to order only two. The portions are generous and two thalis were just right for the three of us. With the mini thali you get rice, Masoor dal, jhuri aloo bhaja , aloo posto, plus another gravy that you get to choose from a couple of different options. We chose the dhokar dalna with one thali and the paneer rosha with the other. <br/>Both the dhokar dalna and paneer rosha were rich delicious gravies with complex but very well-balanced flavours. The masoor dal was another tasty dish. It was a very simple and homely dal - perfect comfort food along with ghee and hot rice. <br/>The rest of the thali, sadly was disappointing. The jhuri aloo bhaja was extremely oily, soggy and unpleasant. The aloo posto was tasteless and dull. We ended the meal with a mishti doi. Now this was something I expected them to get right but surprisingly this too was a very mediocre version. <br/>Verdict - Worth a visit for clean, home-style flavours but do not expect anything extraordinary. Service could be quicker although the staff was very polite and friendly.

Kasturi was the name for The Best Bangla food recommend by most people I asked in Kolkata. They have a few branches. We went to the one at Marqius Street, close to Park street which was flooded with diners. Fortunately my friend Indradeep who reached before me held on to the table even though I got late due to bad Uber navigation coupled with the Kolkata traffic.<br/><br/>I joined him and he informed me that there is no system of Menu Card here. "They will get a tray load of dishes and you just pick what you want to eat." There came a loaded tray and he just started picking and I looked curiously wondering that when will he stop as I am a very small eater. But then I had to try as many as I could!! They all were in small portions which was good and we were given a plate full of boiled rice. Now you have to follow the course and we started in the following order - Aloo Posto did not appear as apetizing as it actually turned out and I felt satified that what rest follows is looks to be a great feast. Then had the Moong Dal with Rui/Rohu fish head which was good, Shrimp with Lauki and I think Tori also was something unusal for me but was again good followed by Shrimp with Mustard was super and high on mustard as the name suggests, Bhetki Fish Curry was also good, then I had the Keema which was quite a home like preparation.<br/><br/>I was eagerly waiting for Ilish with mustard and yogurt and as went for it with a little caution due to the thin throrn type bones in such high density which I managed well. This was lovely. Each dish was different in favours with a few of them having just a bit of overpowering of mustard to perfection. Then we had the Bhapa fish that was steamed in plantain leaf was mild in masalas and tasted awesome. The Kasha Mangsho was the next to dig into and again to perfection followed by Malai Chingdi or Prawns in Malai curry were also the best you can think of.<br/><br/>The stomach had filled to capacity but the dishes would not finish and finally tasted the Parshe Fish which is of the size of a Bangda or Mackrel with Mustard and Red chilly curry. Then there was Tamatoe Chutney with dates and aam papad. Oh god! I said bahut ho gaya Babu Moshaay, Thora Jol piyo aur chalo as they had run out of Mishti Doi (which was turning outbas a blessing in disguise) but offered some other desert which we preferred to skip.<br/><br/>The only thing I did not like in this place was the rush in a cramped area where people are standing on your head with eyes popped out wondering when will they finish. I could not take good pictures due to this rush. They have another branch which has a more relaxed atmosphere.

First of all the typical concept of restaurant doesn't fit here, it is basically a ready - to - eat bengali food joint in a very poorly located area far beside New Market. Google Map doesn't show this place so you need to search the street to get this place. We went on a Friday afternoon and surprisingly it was full. We had to wait for 10 minutes to get a decent place. There was no Thali system and the so called 'Ilish Utsav" doesn't had anything here. We chose rice, moogh dal, mocha, paneer, prawn malaikari and obviously sorshe Ilish. Sadly and surprisingly Ilish was worst as it was probably stale. Rest items were satisfactory but nothing out of the world. Misti doi and payesh was better. All in all an unsatisfactory outing and mostly Bangladeshi people come here to taste their home cuisine. It needs a lot of improvement.

The best part about this chain of restaurants is that they deliver amazing Bengali food at a really reasonable rate. The ambience is nothing to die for. But the food definitely is. My absolute favourite is Kochu Pata Chingri Diye. I have always had this dish whenever I visited any of their chain of restaurants. Also Muger daal with aloo bhaja is my ultimate favourite for comfort food.

One of my many visits to this place yesterday, and the taste remains the same.<br/><br/>This place serves authentic Dhakai Bangla cuisine. They first showed us all the veg dishes as shown in the image below. We ordered Mochar Ghonto, Paneer and their signature dish Kochupata Chingri (this one is my favourite here). Along with it came the Jhuri Aloo bhaja, Maccher matha die Moong Dal and Pabda Jhal.<br/><br/>Kochupata Chingri as usual was brilliant. What surprised me are Mochar Ghonto and Maccher matha die Moong dal, those were equally awesome. Also this time I noticed the food was less oily, unlike my other visits which is a very positive sign.<br/><br/>The stuff was equally friendly. it was less crowdy given it was a sunday afternoon. A must visit place if you want to taste tasty bengali food!

I had ordered mustard chicken rice for delivery. It comes neatly packed. The white rice is covered with the mustard chicken. The mustard chicken gravy was delicious. You can get the strong taste of mustard in the gravy. 3 big pieces of boneless chicken are also provided but they aren't tender. The rice is thick grained. Rice quality should be looked into.<br/><br/>I had ordered this dish again today... but sadly it was disappointing.. there was barely any gravy and worse I found a hair in the food!!! I'm surely not ordering from this place again!

The item I have ordered was not available, although they have accepted the order through zomato and the payment was also done online. The unavailability of such item was conveyed to me by zomato and I have changed my order to another fish item "bowal kalia" as I have already made the payment so, I did not have any option.<br/>The fish they have supplied was partly rotten and mashy. Very bad quality of the fish caused me loose motion. This restaurant is charging very high rate and customers expect the food to be of standard quality.<br/>The quality of food is much more important than its taste. Therefore, the quality should be improved.

Very good authentic Bengali cuisine. They are like providing polished Bengali cuisine. Great food! Ordered Mutton dhakai razalla, rice and kochu paata diye chingri bhappa. Mutton was so nicely cooked with a taste of sweetness in it. Special mention for kochupata diye chingri bhappa . It is the trademark best dish or signature dish of kasturi. Words will fall less to describe its taste. Just Amazing. The Jhaanj of sorshe in it was the best n best ever. Portions are on the smaller side than the Kolkata standard. Quantity was ok. Again the menu choice is exhaustive with lots of authentic bengali dishes, had a full meal, very satisfying.<br/>

This restaurant is one of my bucket list restaurant and finally I traid their Motton dhakai biriyani and Chicken sheel a bata from zomato.<br/><br/>Motton dhakai biriyani : It's essence is beautiful and taste is just awesome but the Motton piece is very small.<br/><br/>Chicken sheel a bata : honestly i have never heard about this dish before. This place is one of the best for Bengali food. The kochu pata chingri, non-vegetarian and vegetarian dishes are lip smacking. Whenever I am in Kolkata, this is a must visit for me. The only disappointing thing is the crowd that hovers over your head till you leave and cleanliness. If you are looking for quiet meal then this is not the place for you. But the taste of their food is enough to dim the humdrum around.

লোকটা বলল মেনু কার্ড নেই। আররে ভাই অর্ডারটা তাহলে দেব কি করে!!<br/><br/>ধর্মতলায় হোটেল গ্র্যান্ড পার করে বাঁয়ে বেঁকে কিছুটা হাঁটা। তারপর আবার ডানদিকে গেলে শ্রীলদেরস এর জুতোর টিপিক্যাল গন্ধ নাকে নক করবে। সেখান থেকে সোজা তাকালে একটা বিশাল সাদা বাড়ি দূর থেকে আপনার দিকে হাত নারবে। তার মাথায় গেরুয়া, সাদা ও সবুজ রং ওয়ালা একটা পতাকা (দেশের না জোড়া ফুলের ঠিক বুঝতে পারিনি)। প্রায় মিনিট দশেক হেটে, হলুদ ট্যাক্সি ও দামি গাড়ির বিরক্তকর হর্ন অগ্রাহ্য করে আমরা পৌঁছালাম বেস ক্যাম্পে। মানে? বেলা তখন তিনটে। "কস্তুরী'তে বাঙালির জিবে জল আনা খাওয়ারগুলো তখন আমাদের কাছে এভারেস্টের চুড়োর মতো। যাই হোক, ওই সাদা বিল্ডিংটার গা দিয়ে যে রাস্তাটা গিয়েছে, সেটা ধরেই আমরা হাটলাম আরও মিনিট পনেরো। ধর্মতলার এক ভিন্ন ধরনের অংশ দেখলাম সেদিন। গ্যারান্টি দিয়ে বলতে পারি ওখানে গেলে মনে হতে পারে এ আদৌ কলকাতা তো??..<br/><br/>একটা তিন রাস্তার মোড়। বেশ কয়েকটা বাঙালি রেস্তোরা দেখলাম। "কস্তুরী" কিন্তু শো স্টপার। কায়দা করে লেখা মূল নামের পাশে ছোট্ট ব্যাখ্যা - বাঙালি ও বাংলাদেশি খাওয়ার পাওয়া যায়। <br/><br/>উপরে উঠে বুঝে উঠতে পারছিলাম না কখন বসার জায়গা পাবো। মন ছুঁয়ে গেল পরিবেশ। হালকা হলুদ রঙের আলো। কালো কালো কাঠের চেয়ার, গদি। হলুদ জামা পরা ওয়েটারদের প্রানপন দৌড়, হাঁকডাক। প্রবল ভিড়, কিন্তু উগ্রতা শূণ্য। ভিন্ন সাইজের টেবিলও ছিল। মানে, কাপলস থেকে ফ্যামিলি প্যাক, সব কিছুর জন্যই সবাই তৈরি। (আমার মতে ফ্যামিলি তে গেলেই ভালো। অথবা বন্ধুরা গেলে 6-7 জন, বেশি হলে এক টেবিলে জায়গা নাও হতে পারে)। <br/><br/>দাদা মেনুটা? একটা নিরীহ প্রশ্নের উত্তরে লোকটা একটা হাসি দিয়ে পাল্টা জিজ্ঞাসা, "প্রথমবার"? দাঁত ক্যালাতেই চলে গেল সে। নিয়ে এলো প্রকাণ্ড এক খাওয়ার ট্রে। কিন্তু আমি তো অর্ডার দিইনি। এ আবার কেমন সিস্টেম। লোকটাই ভুল ভাঙ্গলো। এই আইটেমগুলো হয়েছে। এটাই নাকি মেনু কার্ড। শুধু বেছে নিতে হবে।<br/><br/>কচুপাতা চিংড়ি ভাপা, ইলিশ মাছের মাথা দিয়ে তরকারি, চিকেন ভর্তা, মাছের মাথা দিয়ে ডাল, আলু পোস্ত, বাঁধাকপির তরকারি, পনির। এখানে সাত রকমের আইটেম আছে। বাকি তিন- চার আইটেমের নাম মনে নেই। চিংড়িটাই শুধু বেছে নিলাম। একটা চামচ তার মধ্যে দিয়ে বাকি ট্রে নিয়ে সে চলে গেল। এবার ফিরে এলো দুই প্লেট গরম ভাত নিয়ে। আর কিছু? হ্যাঁ, একটা ইলিশ, একটা পাতুরী, একটা প্লেন ডাল আর একটা আলুভাজা। <br/>(মনে এখানে ওই প্রথমে আসা লাইভ মেনু কার্ড দেখেই সব ঠিক করতে হবে তার মানে নেই। ঐগুলো সেদিনের স্পেশাল। আপনি ইচ্ছে মতো বাঙালি খাওয়ার অর্ডার দিতেই পারেন।)<br/><br/>ডালটা অপূর্ব। আলুভাজা গরম এবং মচমচে (ঝুড়ি ঝুড়ি করে কাটা)। মিড অনে তখন পাশাপাশি দাঁড়িয়ে পাতুরী, কচু চিংড়ি ভাপা আর ইলিশ। চিংড়িটাই সব চেয়ে ভালো লাগলো। যার জন্য বারবার ওখানে ছুটে যাওয়া যায়। অকাল ইলিশের পেল্লাই সাইজ অবাক করেছে। পাতুরী আর একটা খাওয়ার ইচ্ছে থাকলেও পেটে জায়গা ছিল না। <br/><br/>সব শেষে, চাটনি চাইলাম। "সরি দাদা, শেষ হয়ে গিয়েছে"। মিষ্টি দইটাই খেলাম। আহা...

Ordered a portion of their famous Kochu pata diye Chingri vapa online through Zomato.<br/>Delivery was prompt. The container may look small,but the quantity is enough for two. Small prawns steamed in a musturd, coconut,kochupata( can't remember it's english,lol) based thick paste, topped with generous amount of musturd oil. Goes best with hot steamed rice. Only negative point was less number of prawns.

Food taste so good. In fact may be the best bengali food in kolkata. It is very crowded during lunch time. One have to stay in queue to get seat . There are so many item of delicious menue. But its a bit expensive when you got for multiple menu. For a large group of 6-8 the group can take one portion of every menu. Here the cost can also be minimized this way but if individual person goes to try many menu then he will have to calculate more or less 1000 rs for one meal.one can avoid crowd by sitting on the ground floor. People think that 2nd floor is the main restaurant and every body leaves the ground floor empty. So one can try same food sitting on ground floor avoiding the queue

I certainly didnot want to write my first review on zomato in this manner.Rating 1 because I have no choice to rate lower. Ordered dhakai mutton biryani on zomato. Executive took 10 min to deliver after pickup. Packed in card board box with rubber band like street side vendors. Absolutely cold with mutton piece of size of a chicken egg that is impossible to bite leave alone chew. The biryani stalls that are put up only during puja serve better tasting biryani. Certainly, the worst biryani i had in kolkata. I was forced to write the review to vent the frustration of being taken for a ride by a reputed restaurant in kolkata. My interaction with customer care of zomato gives the impression that the restaurant is not concerned or bothered

Settled amidst the mixed bag ambience with Chicken Dhakai fry, Kolkata r devil and fish butter fry. Though a bit soggy, but it's always been about flavors and health see you other day.<br/>Vegetable pulao was next in line and tasted just as it was supposed to. Well cooked, proper spices and overall served warm and healthy. In the end, fresh lime soda did the additional neutralization which was too eagerly awaited.<br/>The food was good, the ambiance was emotional and for the rest, GIVE IT A GO!

If you love fish cooked the bengali way, go here. Amazing amazing food. It's crowded, service could be a little slow - but the food is totally worth the wait. Go here - try the hilsa, try the small fish in spinach, try the prawns, try everything that your stomach can take in! (I am sorry I don't really remember the name of the dishes - but don't worry. They bring out the dishes on a platter and you can select what you want. Must visit if you love fish and you are near New Market area; if you are not near New Market, well then call a cab :)

Cramped place brimming with people. The ambience is too basic and does not look really look appealing. But these are first impressions and then you are proven wrong and how! Authentic simple Bengali food that tastes like heaven. It makes you content like the one you feel at home. Every dish was a winner. The service needs special mention. Even with such a big crowd, the service was impeccable. Again as I said it’s just the way guests would be treated at home. Highly highly recommended.

This was my first dine out in a bengali cuisine restaurant in kolkata, firstly they offer a very domestic environment, the waiters were preety well behaved,<br/>Once you get a table they will attend you with a huge thali in which different popular dishes of the restaurant are arranged, the items u choose they will give u from that thali (but the problem is sometimes the foods r not hot there) and u can also order other items available.<br/>We had ordered<br/>1 kochu pata diye chingri vapa (it was awesome ,will leave an indelible taste memoir in ur tongue😊)<br/>1 chicken sil e bata (it was good if not great)<br/>1 pabda sim diye jhal (good, the fish was of good quality)<br/>1 mutton kasa (u wl get 3 pieces and 1 alu with sufficient gravy for two,taste was awesome)<br/>2 misti doi<br/>Overall price was 650 (no vat)<br/>Overall experience was pretty satisfactory.<br/>Thank you<br/>

Its a totally different experience.. full of Bangladesi people and the food they served also bangladeshi flavour inspired..<br/>Ordered: bangladeshi local fish 'khaski mach' & 'pabda jhal(large)' 'chicken kosa'<br/><br/>People came with starter bengsli dishes "mixed veg, different sak items, chotyo mach chorchori, kochu sak., Chingri kochu bata. And other items'<br/>Then they ask you what u want"meat or fish or egg". They will serve different fish items .not too spicy though..<br/><br/>Only drawback i found there is they don't have menu cards there.. so if u are going for the first time..may b u get confuse, what to order and how to order..<br/>Overall its a nice experience..people should go<br/>

It was in my wishlist for long. Tonight took a parcel for dinner. Tried their Kochu pata chingri (Rs 120), shile bata chingri (Rs 90), and mutton duck banglow (Rs 190). Kochupata chingri was delectable and sufficient in quantity. Mutton duck banglow (3 pcs) was also tasty with minced egg, I found it a little sweet. But shile bata chingri was the show stealer, it was just finger licking good.<br/>Every item was very fresh and good in quality.<br/>A very good place to have authentic bengali dishes without making a hole in your pocket..

Not at all recommend this restaurant to others. Staff are arrogant... they don't provide the menu card even.. instead they place a number of dishes before you to choose from.. I don't like the idea ay all. Further, they serve cold food which is good but very much oily... কচু চিংড়ী was good but other prep were so so... not value for money...

Never been to an authentic Bengali cusine in Kolkata till date, but after a little research many recommended this place for taste & the value for money. I loved the Hilsa fish gravy & Prawn curry with rice. The bengali flavour with its most famous mustard oil and mustard paste came out so well in these dishes. I highly recommend this place for sea food lovers and those who want to try authentic Bengali taste & I will surely come back again to try other dishes.

Im shocked how they call themselves a "Bengali Restaurant" without having aloo posto or postor bora in their menu.<br/>They have a very fixed menu lacking most of the Bengali delicacies and successfully ruined my Saturday afternoon lunch.<br/>The lentil curry (dal) was cool as ice, even though we had our food at 1 pm.<br/>The mutton curry was the worst I had in my life. It cost us 170 bucks but what they served was three cold tiny pieces of bone.<br/>The bhetki paturi being a bit warm was still better than the rest.<br/>Altogether it was a complete disaster and I would recommend to try Bengali food at some other food joints.
