Casual dining place for authentic Bengali food.. Foods are really good. The only thing that the place is really congested. Have Zomato Gold facility so you can get good offer!!
I really like their mishti doi is tasty 🤟
Their price is also cheap &. Pocket friendly, just like the way they make, try to improve packaging otherwise superb 🤟
Keep serving!

Very good food but price is little higher comparatively
Ohhh how can I review this restaurant? My tongue is too biased to the cuisine of this place.
I just loved the place. I go there on a regular basis. Love the food and flavours. Especially kochupata chingri and chicken bharta.
To celebrate my mother's birthday during the lockdown I ordered Kochupatta Diye Chingri Bhapa and Bhetki Paturi...Kochupatta Diye Chingri Bhapa was marvelous in taste...It was heavenly but Bhetki Paturi was a bit sweeter...It was not the proper taste of Bhetki Paturi...Highly recommended...
Awesome place with lip smacking bengali delicacies
The restaurant was spacious and located in the center of new market area.
They showcase the items in a tray which has 10
/12 items of fish/prawn/vegetable and we can choose the dish..
Tried the Malai prawn curry with rice.. It has two pieces of jumbo prawns for 300rs. Found it worth
Is zomato gold facility available in this restaurant?
Great hospitality and food with authentic taste. The sitting arrangement and cutlery was too good. Desert was so good in taste. Meeting family friend are a great location.
Food was so delicious. Even their regular dal tasted so amazing. Their fishes, curries, everything was so yummy. Ambience could be a little more hygienic and comfortable, service could be improved. But, food wise, it was absolutely super duper good!

Excellent food. They have their signature food items that are fantastic. Everything tastes the best. However, the price is on the higher side. The only thing to improve is the management. While the restaurant is super busy, you will need patience and time to get your food on the table. But, the overall experience will surely be worth it.
Went for tasting Bengali cuisine.
We relished fish and prawn
Location is a bit inside
But I absolutely Recommend to try
They basically serve various types of Bangladeshi Dishes. Food quality is super. But one thing i did not like the qualtity, it is very very much less . Specially for rice items . Even the rice quantity is not enough for an adult person.
They serve chickn and mutton items in 3 piece each plate. So if you want to share one plate in two you can't.
Atmosphere is decent.
Love their environment. Food taste was so far so good
It is one of the famous restaurants in Kolkata when it comes to authentic Bengali cuisine. Recently my friends hosted my Aiburovat there. They ordered vetki paturi mahavoj thali for me. There was Rice, Pulao, Dal, jhuri ALU vaja, Lau chingri, vetki paturi, Mutton, chatni, papad, misti doi and salad. The quantity of Rice and Pulao both were abundant. I liked the taste of the pulao, it was balanced not the regular extra sweet one types. I loved the taste of the lau chingri. That exhibited precision in the art of cooking. The vetki paturi was made with fresh fish and the size of the piece was really good as well as the whole preparation. Moving to the mutton, the slow-cooking technique employed was evident in the breakdown of collagen fibers in the mutton. This meticulous process allowed for the infusion of spices, creating a complex flavor profile and a tender texture. Chatni was an okay type but there was something wrong with the papads. It seemed that those were not well fried. I enjoyed the misti doi also. Overall the thali was more than enough for one person. One thing that was less average was the straberry lassi. It was extremely sweet and tasted awful.
The ambience of the restaurant was pretty good but a bit congested. The service was great they even allowed us to sit and wait for almost 1 hour for one of my friends. But remember one thing they don't offer any special arrangements of any occasion. They also serve mini and medium thalis.
Authentic Bengali food at a reasonable price. I won't tell that the price was cheap but it is not that expensive.
They have huge variety of items and all the items I had were fresh.
Looking for Bengali food near Esplanade?__ this is the one. Kasturi offers some fresh and quality Bengali food at moderate prices. This outlet is located around 15-20mins walk from Esplanade and also at a 10mins walk from Park street. Coming to food we tried their fish cutlets with mustard sauce (cutlets contained pure Bhetki fish) which costed around 180rs and were great. We also tried kochupata diye chingri (kasturi special and a highly recommend dish), polao and chicken duckbunglow (another recommended one). At last we tried their mocktails which was quite refreshing. However, this outlet having a limited capacity of seats offers a waiting area. The management of resturant is quite good.
Been there multiple time and have never been ever disappointed One of the best places to have Bengali food. The atmosphere is good , they serve you fast, quality is very good. Do not expect a 5 star atmosphere because it is not, its a simple restaurant with great cuisine.
