Best sweet shop with purity...specially for sweet lovers...
The raj kachori is worth trying but pls be careful as they do not maintain social distancing and sanitization .

Used to have sweets from here long back. This is a famous outlet, mostly for their north Indian sweet and snacks dishes. I never tasted the Raj kochuri in here, but was told by my aunt that it's heavenly. Laddu and Jalebi were great too. Their products boast of rich in pure ghee. Would recommend to anyone looking for such category.
One of the most famous shops in Kolkata..
Famous for its sweets and specially ladoo..
In my family none of the marriage ceremonies are completed without its boondi ke laddoo..
Sweets are made in pure desi ghee and are great in taste and are also affordable...
Their ladoo is too damn tasty
Also its chole bhature is very good..
Parking is an issue here cause it is located in a very congested area...
None the less must try if you are in Kolkata..

Location : Located Before The Satyanarayan AC Market At Kalakar Street.
My Recommendation / Food I've Tried Here :
• Singhara
• Imarti
• Mahindana Ladoo
• Besan Ladoo
* Singhara And Imarti Are Two Things Which Is A Must Have For Me Whenever I'm Passing By.
I Even Bring Singharas At Home And Make Singhara Chat And Have It With Roti For Dinner.
I Also Love Their Ladoo's. Best Mahindana Ladoo You'll Ever Have..!!
I'm In Love With Their Singhara And I Don't Like Any Other Places Singhara's Now..!!

One of the oldest confectionery shops in Kolkata that offers a wide variety of traditional Indian sweets and savouries. Samosas, raj kachauri , gulab jamuns and laddoos include some of the must try dishes. Also their malai kulfi (a summer speciality) is a true treat for the tastebuds! Other noteworthy dishes include Chole Bhature, Aloo tikki, and the traditional Marwari thali. Service is par excellence along with the staff being extremely courteous, who make sure that the food is prepared hygienically and aesthetically. In short, it’s a place where you’ll find the taste of traditional India!

No doubt tewari serves the one of the best sweet in Kolkata which is made in pure ghee ...one could not stop eating here not only sweets but also snacks ...I can't take name of one think bcoz I like each n evrythng either it's sweet or snacks
Ardent fan of this shop because of the freat sonpapri they make, the best ever son papri one can have. Among all of their sweets I liked the sonpapdi best, right amount of sweetness, crispiness and adequate flavour makes their sonpapri the ideal one. Other varieties are also available.
Tewari Sweets was favorite from childhood. Love their kaju katli, lassi and raj kachori. Located near satya narayan market. Place was big and always crowded. Quick service and price was decent. Having their snacks and sweets from childhood and still getting the same satisfaction. A must try place, recommended.

Tasty dishes are available. Only hot and fresh food is serving here. A popular restaurant in kalkatta city. Well behaved serving crews. Helpful management. Variety of menu is providing. Price compromises with taste.
Need to queue for long time to taste historic dishes.

Delicious food, fast service, great overall. There is a funny story that happened to me. I ordered a mutton biryani and some chicken gravy. It is possible that the waiter heard it wrong. He brought me chicken biryani. I didn't notice at first but when I started eating the mutton piece, it felt like chicken. And I was like, ye toh chicken jaisa lag raha hai 😂 until I realized they mixed up my order. However, I informed the waiter, he was ready to completely change the order. Since I had eaten half of the biryani, I just asked him if he could just get me a mutton piece. He did so and that too without charge. Great service.

I visited this place after quite some years and I was really happy to see that they have maintained their quality of Biryani as always.
The golden potato, soft, tender piece of mutton, light, fragrant rice with the right amount of Ghee and oil, the light feeling of authentic Kolkata biryani mesmerized me as always.
Having their biriyani is always a pleasure ❤️
We ordered a plate of chicken seekh kebab, 2 plates of special mutton biriyani and a plate of salad for 4 people. It was already more than enough.

We went to the first floor of the restaurant, this floor was very elegantly decorated and also had AC. But, we had to wait for very long for getting a table.
We tried their:
• Chicken Malai Kebab (priced at Rs 399)
• Chicken Garlic Kebab (priced at Rs 344)
• Chicken Achari Kebab (priced at Rs 344)
• Mutton Biryani (priced at Rs 369)
• Masala Kulcha (priced at Rs 130)
• Chicken Kassa (priced at Rs 274)
• Cold Drink (priced at Rs 60)
Except the Chicken Achari Kebab the rest of the kabebs were really blant in taste. The rest of the food items were good in taste.
Thinking of mughlai dishes near Park Circus area, yes Arsalan is the Name of the restaurant.
Their speciality are
1. Biryani
2. Kebab
3. Chicken Tikka butter Masada
4. Tandoori roti
5. Mutton Rogan Josh
Note : they don't serve beef.
This chain of restaurant is around 20 years old, started in 2002 and have created a name in mughlai dishes.
They have many branches in and around kolkata.
A must try restaurant if u are fond of mughlai dishes.
Very beautiful place and the ambience is awesome. The quality and quantity of food is just remarkable. Must visit this place with your friends and families. You'll definitely loved this place.
Arsalan is a trusted name when it comes to mughal and tandoori cuisine. We had dinner at the OG Park Circus branch, in their newly decorated second floor. The ambiance is really nice, with a big TV to enjoy the ongoing WC. Coming to the food, we had Chicken Haryali and Arsalan Kebabs for starters. The Arsalan Kebab is fantastic with a creamy layer like Rashomalai! For mains, we had biryani, Naan, Chicken Tandoori Butter Masala, Mutton Pasanda, and Rogan Josh. All the dishes were delicious and well cooked! Yet another foodilicious night, had a great time with good food!
Arsalan is King of Mughalai foods in Kolkata, During the Festive season you have to wait for long hours. Best to have Mutton special Briyani.. Mutton Rara and Malai kebab. The list is not over, the price is moderate to high maintaining the quality. Good to visit with family and friends... nothing to complain about. The hospitality by their staff is superb 🫶
Once on my flight back to Delhi , my sister had given us Biryani for food as it was dinner time , Biryani was full of flavor and with huge chunks of mutton, afterwards I came to know it came from Arsalan, so this time I went to their Park Cricus outlet for lunch , had ordered mutton stew , mutton biryani and khamiri roti firani .Mutton stew was delicious with whole lot of boneless chunks and Firani was absolutely delightful and their signature Biryani had same flavour full fluffy rice and a huge chunk of juicy and soft mutton pice plus potato also. Food and experience I shall cherish forever.
