Authentic😍 Fried Chicken Wonton Chilli Garlic Pepper Chicken Mixed Rice Noodles Mixed Hakka Noodles Chilli Chicken
Sonia Chatterjee
The best place to eat Chinese cuisine. Updating the review as er recently visited the place. We tried out spring fish, prawn pakora, mixed haka noodles, mixed fried rice, lemon chicken. We were 3 adults and 1 kid. Though we ordered half portion of starters, we went with full place of lemon chicken. Rice and noodles are available in full portion only. The quantity of food was on the higher side and we literally struggled to finish the dishes. However, they have the tastiest dishes and I love how they maintain consistency in the preparation. One word of caution - the road in front of the restaurant is fully dug up, so you cannot drive till the place. There's an alternate narrow route from the back side or the car needs to be parked elsewhere. The road is supposed to be repaired before Puja as per the restaurant staff.

All good. Needs some improvements in dishes. The softness of the chicken and the gravy items needs some improvements. Fish pepper salt is awesome.

When you focus solely on the food without pretence, this could be your choice. Potion sizes are big, dishes are tasty and atmosphere is friendly. One of the old favourites at Tangra.

A very good Chinese restaurant located on Tangra road, China town. For the lunch I had fish crisp fry, chicken garlic and kiling chowmein with thai garlic chicken. Very good taste. Enjoyed the meal. The restaurant don't serve pork and serves halal food. The green sauce / chutney was very tasty.

Good Place. Good food. The Chilli Garlic Pepper Fish & Chilli Garlic Prawn was superb. Well, I also tried Mushroom, Drums of Heaven, Mixed Cantonese Chowmein, Mixed Rice, Chilli Chicken, Thai Soup etc. Food quality could be better. Service has serious room for improvement. Alas, a evening well spent at Kim Ling.

This happens to be the oldest Chinese Restaurant in the China Town area of Kolkata in Tangra. The earlier name was Blue Diamond Restaurant which changed name after Mrs. Lee became it’s sole proprietor in the early nineties. It’s no doubt the joint which serves the tastiest Chinese Food of the famous China Town style recipe. The Lung Fung soup simply gives out of the world experience with thick layer of egg white floating on top giving rise to a creamy look. All the dishes are super tasty - but special mention of Golden Fried Prawn needs to be mentioned.

The food was really good. Awesome in taste. Authentic Chinese dishes served here.

Not bad. Wanted to have that full fish dish from their menu but got to know that we'll have to order that before 24 hours. Sad. The place is cute. Food is also good but nothing exceptional.
Jhilik Roy Chowdhury
Truly I like the ambience most than other restaurant in china town .. very reasonable restaurant.. quantity and quality both are very good .. well behaved and very fast service .. we took only mixed fried rice, coke, and garlic chicken .. in full plate you'll get 10 piece chicken .. 1 full plate rice or chowmin enough for 2 person .. must visit restaurant in china town ..

So had visited this restaurant in Tangra named as Kim Ling. Restaurant view - The building looks a Little shabby from the exterior side, and from the interior end you can see two sections one for men(looks a typical men bar place) and the other section is for family(looks up to the mark) Staff review- Unexpectedly the staffs are snooty ,arrogant and throws attitude to customers. Overall - The food is good and tasty. Crispy Chilli Babycorn- It's little different from that of babycorn we usually eat. It's usually small corns tossed in sauce but here it was fried corns with onions which was okayish. Szechuan chicken(dry)-it was tasty and filling and the tangy taste was apt Overall a must try but the staff have to work a lot.

So had a visit this place few days back..had a horrific experience.. that they don't serve 750 ml liquor in family section but they do it the same in outer space or normal section.. but they don't have any logic behind it.. neither something written about it.. served whiskey in water glass. They don't even bother if you are not comfortable with it.. food was good.. that's it..
Jitendra Adhikari
Had been here in my childhood days with Mom and Dad. Infact, this was the first resturant in China Town i went to. The building has not changed a bit, just a new coat of paint. The staff are polite but sure needs to learn how to keep a smiling face on the floor. Food quality is excellent. What ordering, suggest you order half's or less as quantity is great. You can always go for second helpings.
Saroj Gora Paul
It's a general standard restaurant. Staffs are no doubt very cordial nd service is very fast. The restaurant deserves a great praisal for its starter delicacy but side dish is not so astonishing. Main course is normal, not a special word makes for it. However more or less the service, ambience, customer relationship management is standard. And it can be a place for nearest friends for a day out.

Pathetic food... few yrs bk being da oldest in chinatown, food used to be very yummie... but sadly had a very bitter experience!

Whatever you were 10 years back, you are still maintaining the same quality after 10 years. If anyone wants to eat good Chinese food, then Kimling is the name. Keep it up.
Sujata Pal
Delicious lunch : Spring Chicken , Ginger Fish, Prawn Chowmin.. Enjoyed a lot .
Indra Adhikary
Food is awesome.. The only thing that bothers, the waiters ask for extra tips. They are not satisfied with 200 bucks on a 3000 bucks bill. They ask for more 200, and that sucks.
Anurup Choudhury
Awesome food and drinks, nice experience
FOODOPAEDIC
This place is one of the few restaurants in town that serve authentic Chinese food. The price is at a higher side but the quality and quantity of food you get at that price justifies it. The ambience is great and the staffs are very friendly. You'll love it give it a try.

The Cantonese noodles is really amazing and beautiful ♥️♥️❤️❤️

We have a sudden plan to go and eat at China Town. We were hungry and was bit late for lunch. After getting good review of Ah leung from Petuk Panda group, we decided to go there but unfortunately it was closed. After hovering here and there we saw Kim Ling and we had heard it's name before for good food. You won't get that fancy decor but old vintage interior what they kept for years. We ordered Mixed Noodles, Mixed Rice and Chilli Garlic Chicken. The quantity is pretty good with good amount of chicken and prawns in mixed noodles and mixed rice. The taste was also great and I loved all the items. The noodles they serve is bit thick. Coming to the Chilli Garlic Chicken it was spicy and delicious. We were loving it with rice and noodles. We didn't count but there were good amount of chicken pieces. We were really satisfied after having our lunch here. Price is moderate enough.

Amazing food. Quality is good but quantity is good at that price :)<br/>Happy fooding!

Wanted some healthy food and thus, went for a delivery of a Veg Delight (Gravy) from this restaurant - Kim Ling based somewhere in Tangra!<br/>Dish was tasty, prepared to our preference of not having chilies – lots of boiled and sliced veggies – cabbage, cucumbers, capsicums, onions, carrots etc sautéed and served in a soupy gravy – tasted very nice – tickles your taste buds only when had piping hot! Alas, what was missing was some exotic veggies – mushrooms, maybe some cottage cheese cubes, a tofu or two ………… especially considering the high price tag! Nevertheless, the experience was still nice!<br/>Overall, a very nice healthy meal!<br/>

Location- it's Located at 13, South Tangra Road, Tangra, Kolkata<br/><br/>Menu:-<br/>• Chicken Hot and Soup Soup<br/>• Chilli garlic chicken <br/>• Kimling Special Chow<br/>• Chilli Lemon Chicken<br/>• Mixed Sichuan Rice Noodle<br/><br/>I loved all the dishes but the Rice noodle mostly.<br/>It has a bar attached to the restaurant, but the bar is separated with a partition from the restaurant, so going with Family Should n't be a problem.<br/>From the price point of view, it's a fair priced shop and i would recommend all to give it a visit.<br/>Happy Fooding!

If you venture beyond the likes of big boss, beijing, hot wok village and some more .. you will find Kim ling tucked away a little farther down the road...<br/>its a regular haunt for people who are familiar with China Town..<br/>the entrance might seem slightly unappealing but the food will make up fr it..<br/>we ordered a garlic pepper chicken.. thai garlic fish and kim ling spcl mei foon..<br/>both the chicken and the meifoon were memorable in taste... in fact let me add that one plate of meifoon was enough for the 3 of us after we had devoured the chicken starter..the fish was something i wouldnt order again... tasted almost like rohu to me...<br/>its best avoided...<br/>but in the end we were tummy happy...<br/>good place..good food..good staff behaviour..

The food quality is not that great. The ambience is so so. The staffs are quite good. Do work on the quality and make the foods worth the money.
Arkajit Chakrabarti
I have been visiting Kim Ling since I was a schoolboy so I hope you will pardon a slightly biased review.<br/><br/>The interiors have not changed much for the last 20 years which is not a big deal for me since all it needs to be is clean and comfortable, which those old chairs and tables manage just fine.<br/><br/>The staff is courteous, prompt and the old veterans know their old customer's preferences better than they themselves do. <br/><br/>Now about the food...<br/><br/>although I have perhaps tasted the whole menu over the years, I will limit myself to a few recommendations that bring back sweet memories and hunger pangs.<br/><br/>Prawn Pakodas - Not chicken, not anything else but prawn pakodas. Now close your eyes and trust me.<br/><br/>Note* On every table you will find a small bowl with a "homemade" chili paste. It has an abundance of chilies, garlic, coriander all generously splashed with lime. Now this sauce/ paste is cruelly delicious. It will burn your mouth, tongue and throat after which you will reach for some more of this punishment. And yes I'm addicted to this chili paste. Prawn pakodas and this chili paste are great with beer, whisky etc.<br/><br/>Gravy Noodles - If its your first time here then gravy noodles are mandatory. Take a preferred side dish if you want but this dish stands alone with head held high in pride. The noodles they make in-house (like the chili paste) and the texture, feel and taste of these noodles in your mouth are unique.<br/><br/>Most other dishes are great but I just wanted to share the above with you. I hope you will excuse me for not having photos.<br/><br/>Bon Appetit

THE BEST CHINESE I HAVE EVER TASTED SO FAR the place is very old and you can feel it the Chair and tables have not been replaced and are over 30 years old the staff are very good we had hot and sour chicken (half) which had around 14 small pieces of chicken and chilly garlic rice

It is one if the famous restaurant in tangra area where you get Chinese flavour at its best way. Though the place is not very easy to find but you can easily reach by using Google map. I liked their food.
Ayan Nandy
Kim ling is located at Tangra.<br/>Had Drums of heaven , Chilli Chicken , Mix Fried Rice.<br/>Taste was so nice. I liked it. Quantity was good. I did not liked the ambience . It was average. Overall food is good. Good Experience for me

Definitely not a place for lavish lunch/dinner, though. Service is definitely not upto the mark. The staff seem really not reluctant to serve us. Nevertheless, we ordered food and it arrived on time. Decor is very okayish and needs improvement definitely when it comes to cleanliness. Old school chinese food is what they specialise on and they did not go haywire in terms of the food. It was pretty decent. Beverages & food are priced moderately. The atmosphere and walls look shabby so does the table cloth. Food wise, recommended.

I had quite a lot of items from this restaurant. This is one of the best restaurant which is pocket friendly as well as serves amazing foods.... Would recommend this restaurant to everyone.

A great chienese restaurant situated in China Town ...... It's price is little high but worth of money ..... Ambience is also nice .... Stuffs r very polite

This place was my maiden attempt to china town, have heard a lot about china town and food from here. Went in and saw what restaurants in old age movies look like, no proper interiors, tables with table cloth, servers with stained uniform.<br/><br/>The portions are huge and somewhat not easy on your stomach. Tried a crispy chilli baby corn, which was in Chinese style dry and crispy which was decent. Also ordered a spring roll, which was mostly salad in the fried roll, could be better. Tried garlic noodles and veg rice noodles, garlic hakka noodles were the best in the meal. The rice noodle had no distinct flavour, could be better prepared. The side dish veg dumpling we tried was under cooked, we could feel the maida in every bite. Cost doesn't justify the taste, nothing special infact better Chinese is available at newer Chinese joints. Would love to try other joints before developing my opinion for China town, but definitely this particular outlet could be a miss if veg food is your forte

I went to this place with my brother. There was 2 section the outer 1 was bar for gents and boys gang and inside it was family section. We went there for dinner as its also 1 of the old Chinese restaurant in China Town. I like the place. We ordered<br/>*egg sweet corn soup<br/>*crispy veg wanton<br/>*chilli garlic fried rice<br/>*sweet and sour paneer gravy<br/>We like the soup it was thick and tasty. Wanton was something which i tried for the first time and it was good. I didn't like the paneer much the gravy was nice but the paneer didn't taste so nice and i didnt like it, the rice was also ok. Overall a good experience i will go again.

Food is something which makes us happy...And we as bengalis patronize some of the restaurants which are so close to us...But today I am really very depressed as I received food of third grade quality which made me disappointed and sad.<br/><br/>The food at kimling was so dry...unflavourfull and without any flavour that for the first time I felt as wasting my money on the food.<br/><br/>The noodle was dry...unflavourfull prawns and watery Cantonese noodles...Blant also has a flavour in Chinese cuisine....But which is I worry is going away from the tastes of Kim Ling....<br/><br/>Thus would warn all of my friends in my network to be warned if the flavours of this restaurant....and u will be really very disappointed when u would go to dine in this place....As a food expert it is my view.

Looking for some amazing lipsmacking Chinese food then this place is a must visit. With a very peaceful ambience this place is perfect for a casual dine out with your closed one's. The added bonus is this place also gives you the liberty to have beverages like alcohols so in a way it is apt to raise your weekend mood. And for some refreshments. Not only for couples there are separate space for friends dine out too.The foods are absolutely tasty and good quality.Apart from that I found the staff quite helpful and cooperative. But one thing that I felt is that there service is a bit slow.I ordered honey chicken ,Mixed fried Rice and Garlic chicken.

Absolutely amazing! It has been our family's go to restaurant for over a decade now. The biggest plus point is the staff and the service they provide. All of them actually care about your dining experience which is absolutely refreshing to get. Starter must haves - fried fish, chilli garlic pepper chicken/drums of heaven, golden fried prawn, and spring rolls and the soups.<br/>Main course must haves - Cantonese chow, meifoon, Chinese chopsuey, Chilli fish dry, red pepper chicken, Sichuan chicken/fish.<br/><br/>Go for the prawn side dishes too. And crabs are to die for!<br/>Psst.. the booze is damn cheap too! XD

Have been here last week. Its a nice place with simple decors. Not so fancy, yet gives you a home-like feeling. Now coming to the food, we ordered:<br/>•fried chicken wonton<br/>•fried fish<br/>•chicken meifoon<br/>•hot garlic chicken<br/>•chicken fried rice<br/>•schezwan fish<br/>And also some hard drinks.<br/>The crispy fried fish was the best among all. It was a perfectly fried dish. Just the hot garlic chicken was a bit salty. Otherwise everything was good.<br/>Will visit this place sometime soon! ☺️☺️

It's my all time favourite place to celebrate all the events throughout the year. The food that one should try are Rice noodles, garlic chicken, pepper chicken, peeper mushroom, golden fry prawn and crispy fish with sweet garlic sauce.<br/><br/>The staff are so well behaved and mannered. They also help you to go with your choice of dish.<br/>A place to visit must.

some place in Kolkata truly deserves the tag hidden gem. This is one of them. The food is amazing. A pocket friendly place to hang out. A must visit place.
Sayak Chowdhury
This is another frequent haunt of mine. The food and the ambience and the service are all perfect. The only problem you may run into is that the place is a a tad bit pricey.<br/>I've tried most of the dishes on the menu starting from Crispy Prawn ( which you should definitely try out) to more commonly dishes like Chilli Chicken. I've tried out both the Hakka and the Gravy noodles on their menu. The Gravy Noodles is an absolute delight and it'll fill you to the brim too. The food in general is delightful. Prawn might be a costly choice but the other less expensive options are equally scrumptious.<br/>I would definitely recommend this place. Try it out. Even if you have to wait in a line to get in, which you will have to do anyway on busy days, all of the trouble is worth it.
Subhojyoti
This place needs no description,as this is one of the best places in china town to have chinese. They have bar zone too. Family zone is there too. They serve the best quality food without any doubt. Absolutely love their food, ambience and service. Just amazing.

AMBIENCE- 2/5<br/>FOOD(Quality)- 4.5/5<br/>FOOD(Quantity)- 4.5/5<br/>SERVICE- 2/5<br/>RECOMMENDED- Yes.<br/>It's more of a total = 3.5/5<br/>It is among the many small Chinese restaurants located in China Town, Tangra. The place is not too big but not cramped up either. I went with my boyfriend last Sunday at around 5 pm. It wasn't full but 2-3 tables were occupied. The place looks super ordinary like a dimly lit room with tables and chairs. We ordered-<br/>📌Chicken Fried rice- Taste was great. Amount of chicken too was good. Quantity was enough for the two of us.<br/>📌Cantonese chicken (half)- This was a side. We ordered half and it had 7-8 pieces of chicken which was a lot. Taste was great as well. It was nice and light.<br/>----------------------------------------------------<br/>Food was served within 10 minutes of ordering which is fast. Service was okayish not warm and welcoming. The only thing I felt was a let down was that the prices though affordable were high according to the ambience and quality of service.<br/>That said, the place is definitely worth a visit and I am willing to overlook the other factors since food is great.<br/>Subhajit Paul<br/>

Lip smacking Chinese delicacies from a legendary Chinese part of kolkata.. We visited a group of 9 people with different choice of food.. Staffs are nice.. We tried mixed rice, hakka noodles, meifoon, hot garlic fish, lemon chicken, salt n pepper prawn, Mongolian chicken.. All the items were very nice.. Food quality and quantity both are very nice..

Nothing great about the decor...very basic and conservative.. but this place has a reputation of good chinese food and it has well kept upto it's reputation when I visited.<br/><br/>The taste of the food, the quantity, the service.. everything is good. The only negative part is the amount of oil they use.<br/><br/>No complains about the decor because i believe that very basic arrangement gives you the feeling of an old school Chinese restaurant which people want to experience when visiting Tangra for chinese.
Ahana Datta
Delicious chinese food and considerable quantity. I and my husband travelled all the way to Tangra for dinner at this place. Ordered for rice and rice noodles with chicken and prawn dishes. The staffs were kind and courteous!

Kim ling is located at the very famous China town at tangla. The location is a bit tricky its advised to use gps.<br/>Ambience was good, nothing very extravagant but wasn't bad. It had a very traditional chinese place vibes.<br/>The staff had a bit if an attitude, don't know why. We had aaked them to serve us that made them a little disappointed, though they served. Also we paid the bill and left the change which was a few coins, we were called and asked to take the change back.<br/>The food was great. We had ordered beer, hakka noodles and chicken starters. The noodles were great in taste and were of good portions. The chicken starter was absolutely amazing.
Trisha Barui
Very reasonable good quality food available though they need to work on their ambience a little. They give excellent soups. But don't try their Cantonese items if you don't like boiled stuff.

Might be a bit of an obscure place but that doesn't concern me since I haven't tasted better Chinese than in here. At their price ranges, I couldn't ask for better delicacies. This is like my family's official Chinese restaurant. For every occasion, there's a "Let's go to Kim Ling." Not the perfect ambient place you're looking for, but if you want the best of foods, do not miss out on this.
Nitu Mondal
Kimling, located in Tangra, is one of the oldest restaurants of that area. It serves a huge number of authentic chinese delicacies. One must give it a try.

Just fantastic. Authentic Chinese place with tasty mouth watering food. Perfectly cooked and a great ambience. Their dishes are great with a great owner who takes care of each and every customer.

It’s sad to see once a reputed restaurant has lost his every last bit of esteem and became a horrible mess of what it is now. Every food we had were either mediocre or straight garbage. It’s weird to see simple dish like manchurian were infested with ton of cornflower and tasted like dirt. Some waiter spilled soup on my Mom and on a short note they gave us enough reasons not to visit them again.

Location 👍 environment 👍 staff behaviour 👍 service 👍<br/>We ordered crispy fried fish and chilli peper chicken for starter... A bit oily..but tasty... And mix gravy noodles with dry chili chicken... All are well spiced and well cooked...the gravy noodles just smooth and tasty...😋😋loved it... And want to visot again to taste other dishes too...

Chinese food has always been my favourite so to satisfy my hunger choose this restaurant. It's located in Tangra...the place called "China Town" a known place and we ordered "Mixed Chicken Chowmein" taste was good. All ingredients chicken, prawns were well cooked, quantity was good enough no doubt.

For a restaurant that has been serving Chinese cuisine food to the people of Kolkata for more than 27 years now and which also has a inspiring as well as thrilling story attached to its owner Ms. Monica Liu a.k.a “DON Of Tangra”(LOOK IT UP!!!🤩). This place has absolutely no comparison in maintaining the great quality of food that it serves. It’s located in ChinaTown, Tangra, Kolkata. So, we went there and ordered the following items:-<br/>1. Chicken Clear Soup(recommended)<br/>2. Dry Chicken Chilly<br/>3. Honey Chicken(absolutely recommended👌)<br/>4. Chilly Fish(must try definitely👍)<br/>5. Fried Chicken Wantons<br/>6. Chicken Rice Noodles<br/>7. Chicken Fried Rice<br/>8. Drums of Heaven<br/>9. Prawns Papad(classic-recommended)<br/>Overall it was a wonderful experience and had a great time visiting this restaurant and definitely will recommend this restaurant for a second, third or infinite ♾ number of dine outs🤤😜🤗. <br/>Food-5/5<br/>Service-4.5/5<br/>Ambience-4.5/5<br/>Customary satisfaction-5/5

Ambiance are very poor, sitting arrangement are very congested, food quality and service are normal, overall I'm not satisfied with this place.

Kim ling has always been my favorite in Chinatown. They serve authentic Chinese food which tastes delicious and quite light. This place has a separate family section. We ordered for fried chicken, Thai soup and some Prawn Crackers. Each and every item tasted excellent and the service was pretty apt. Kudos to the management here !

It's been 21 years since I were born, and have been visiting this particular restaurant ever since. In their best of days, there is no restaurant in the city which can serve better Chinese. The staff are well behaved and friendly. Quantity of food is quite enough to feed two person at the same time. Food is usually fresh and fine. Just that the ambience is not up to the mark, with a lot of noise being created and an old house like interior, it makes you want to look for a better place. But undoubtedly, Kim Ling still ranks in my top 3 best Chinese restaurants at present.
ANUPAM BHATTACHARJEE
Very rude behavior of their staffs, its best to avoid this place, they dont care of their customers, very much impolite, extremely bad and unprofessional

The Food over here is excellent. The Only Flaw over here are the waiter z. They will stand in front of you will ure paying the bill and will act in such a way that u will get embarrassed and will be forced into giving them tip inspite of the place taking Service charge in the bill. If u dont pay they ll shamelessly start asking loudly for the tip and if h pay something and if it is less according to them they will start telling it to u on ure face which is very insulting. I had face this sort of embarassment last time when i had gone. Place is ok. Food is Very good without any Doubt. Just keep this one thing in mind which i have said before going overe there. For the Food 5 STAR'S But for the SERVICE 2 STAR'S

Kim ling located in China Town in Tangra is one of the Chinese restaurants we went for dinner recently. The food though being oily but is filling. Authentic Chinese food, tried their egg chicken chilli garlic noodles, sweet and sour chicken, Chicken fried rice. <br/>The quantity and quality was great. Pocket pinch pretty affordable. The total came to Rs 2225 for 5 of us ( including taxes )

This is one of those places in Kolkata, where youre pulled towards every weekend to taste the authentic chinese available in this city. This place make sire you leave being a fan of the cuisine. The pepper garlic Babycorn is delicious. Chicken in white gravy with Vegetables in perfect for gym goers and the perfect fried prawn chips with amazing soups and starters. Chilly Garlic Chicken is one of the most ordered dishes here leaving you completely speechless. Do comment if you are ever get to try this restaurant in your life.

An old joint and a counter part of Beijing restaurant. They provide you the pure Kolkata bhetki in all the fish items and these are good to taste. A value for money place.

The plus point is they serve alcohol and have a seperate area for family :)<br/>The decor is normal and pocket pinch is 1600 for two(including alcohol). In the honey chicken they used sugar instead of honey.<br/>Food - 3/5<br/>Service-4/5<br/>Ambience- 2/5

I have been to this place. It's a great Chinese restaurant with good food with reasonable prices in comparison to other Chinese restaurants in China town.

Just being ten minutes away from my place this is my happy go lucky destination forever. I like the service barring the dialect of the staff or some issues like serving the food a bit late. The crispy fried mushrooms, garlic pepper chicken, and mixed fried rice is my favourite.

I am almost a veteran when it comes to this place. My staples:<br/>Thai soup: flavourful, with enough meat, and the right amount of spices<br/>Sweetcorn chicken soup: the soul food, thick, tasty and has enough chicken<br/>Chicken rice noodles: I have rarely tasted rice noodles this good. It isn't bland or sticky. A plate is enough for 2 ppl<br/>Chilli chicken/ lemon chicken: tasty, the quantity is filling for about 4 ppl

Tangra is known as China Town of Kolkata. The name is so appropriate, you will feel it once you have entered the lane. This is the must exploring place for authentic food Lovers. I have visited many restaurants here, but kim ling became my personal favorite for their authenticity, never compromised food quality, stuff's behavior, pricing and simplicity with tidiness. We entered here at early noon and we were the only customers then. Service was pretty fast. The dishes came one by one :<br/>*Pepper chilli garlic fish- a perfect soft coating fish starter. Though salt was little less<br/>*Prawn crackers- simple pakoras with two small prawns inside. Lip smacking<br/>*Chicken Cantonese noodles- gravy noodles . Aroma was amazingly delicated.<br/>*Sichuan Chicken dry- this was an average dish comparatively to others. Taste was like small eatarian roadside stall. Not recommended.<br/>Last but not the least two cranberry breezers as no beer expect tuborg was available then.<br/>All these costs below 1500/- .<br/>It deserves 4.5 but now a days zomato doesn't support it.

One of the lesser crowded places in the Tangra area which makes it easier when you have company and want to have a proper conversation.<br/><br/>Food,Service as well as environment is decent.

This place was once known as the Mecca for Chinese food enthusiasts. However, the last time that I was here, the staff were extremely unprofessional and the food was painfully disgusting. Upon complaining about the poor quality of Pepper Fish the waiter impolitely stated that there is no problem with it. We then ordered Chilli Chicken and were clearly disgusted with the half hearted preparation of it. <br/>Also despite having a large seating area, the place seems congested, due to the seating arrangement. <br/>This place has really come a long way I believe and hence they really do not care for customer service or the quality of the food.

Food was good but I didn't like the cantonese preparation. It was not upto the mark. I even didn't like the soup. It didn't stimulate my taste buds. But there is no harm in one visit though.
Sampurna Nandi
My most favourite restaurant in the china town area. Quite a nice ambience. Service is good also. The food items are taste busters. Prawn dishes are awesome delicacies.

This place is so good that you would visit this place often.<br/>The ambiance so good the service is very good.<br/>Entering here you would smell tibetian flavour which can increase your hunger.<br/>Then after getting the food, surely it would satisfy your test .<br/>This place is very good for famiy gatherings and also giving treat to friends.<br/>This place is little bit cheaper than the other places of Tangra.

It’s basically a 3.7 rating. Location is pretty good to find. However the reason for this place of not to be 4 is the seating area. They have a large place where they could easily allocate people, but they didn’t. They made us sit in a place which doesn’t even look like a restaurant, pretty disappointing for a first time visitor. <br/>Now the good part: FOOD!<br/>A good shoutout to the food they serve. Like seriously amazing! We’ve got button mushroom fried with chilli & garlic. What makes this dish a stand out from others would be the green chilli chutney served along with it. It was to die for. Spicy, with a tinge of sweet.<br/>For main course we’ve got mixed fried rice and chilli garlic chicken. Chicken was ok how authentic Chinese dishes are. Nothing to complain and nothing to boast about. But the rice was just WOW! They served prawns in it & lemme tell you they were possibly could be the best prawns served with rice. Grains were well cooked and the flavours were great. Loved their food. I personally will expect better customer service next time.

Average food. Good portioning for one. No such ambiance. Budget friendly. Dining with groups are highly recommended. Food came on time. A nice place for people who love Chinese food but a tad bit hard to impress someone who's not that good in having Chinese.

👎AMBIANCE is a big shit, have nothing in it except an air conditioner<br/><br/>👎COST is dreadfully high, gives a serious pinch to pocket<br/><br/>👎QUALITY is yet an another shameful aspect out here, a way below than 'marginal' level<br/><br/>👍SERVICE is carried out in an efficient way only by few staffs<br/><br/>👍QUANTITY deserves a mention and it's too much especially the main course<br/><br/>✨Special Attractions (if any) :~ ❌Nothing<br/><br/>with- Mahua Nandan Das , Samprita Das<br/><br/>Verdict:~ Coming straight to the point📏please rule out this restaurant if you really🤷 don't want to ruin your day🌞...Ambiance is dreadfully holy crap❎, as the water droplets💧continuously dripping from the ceiling pipe which is simply unbearable...The entrance⛩️ is pathetic💉.. Again the Chinese🈵 of this place is so awful that even the hardcore Chinese🈳 lovers will give up on this cuisine🍕....While, there are many hidden gem 💎 restaurants in Kolkata🚋, this restaurant of Tangra falls in the category of a truly "hidden nightmare/disaster"😈
