A great restaurant hidden in a small alley near Mother House. The food is really impressive, and their quality of tea is the best in Kolkata.
Excellent food, atmosphere, and hospitality. The PEOPLE trump everything else though; such incredible service and obvious care and love. The food was not only some of the best meals I had while I was in India, but it was also insanely inexpensive for what you get. The service can not be beat anywhere, seriously, ANYWHERE! Carlton and his wife are wonderful people who do incredible work around Kolkata and they treat you like family from the minute you walk through their walls. Stop here, eat here, stay here!!

The breakfast was great. Large proportion and great taste with a very fair price. The fresh juice is great too! They do cater for large groups, but you need to contact ahead of time. The cafe is smaller and can seat about 10-12 comfortably.

One of the best cafes in Kolkata (small and quaint). The owners are kind and truly understand the art of hospitality. Fantastic banana bread. I also love the chicken fried rice and the fresh-squeezed juices.
