If you are looking for authentic Bengali style food, this is the place. The best fish items in town. Very reasonably priced. Service is poor. Fish Kabiraji, fish batter fry and Fish diamond fry are must try items. The entrance of the restaurant is very dirty and doesn't look like an entrance at all.

Whenever I want to hangout with my loved one and try to have some delicious food i just go there without any second thought. The place is very nice and the staffs are well behaved. You also don't need to wait long for your food. The quality and taste of the food here is very impressive. Try to visit once.

We already know about the heritage of Mitra Cafe and how it's outlets are spread out in and around the city. So we happened to visit the one near Baguiati, specifically Raghunathpur. Ambience is a plus. We tend to like the rush-n-wait of the oldie outlets so you might feel more like a cosy restaurant for a Mitra Cafe. The food? That's Drums of Chicken as they stated in the menu, priced 150, and Fish Diamond Fry for 120. About the drumsticks, 5 prices of hot hell is what you can call them. The chicken's juicy and cooked pretty fine. It'll transport you to a 'beautiful hell' like place when the hot and sweet flavours hit your tongue. Delectable at its best! The spice lingers long on your tongue. Bliss. Fish Diamond Fry, one among the legends of Mitra Cafe, was however a average deal for me. Tasty surely because fish fries can never not be. :P My suggestion, you should try the famous at the popular outlets only! With a pretty view to look at outside, you might enjoy a happy date here. Try. Follow @thefoodiesfairytale on Instagram for more. ❤

Not recommended on Sunday after evening, u will not get any fish item which is famous in this place like fish kabiraji / cutlet, have to chose from mutton / chicken instead, happen with me 3times. Dont order chicken pakora, it's the worst item in the menu (don't believe me! Order & experience your self🤮)

Mitra cafe is a renowed resturant for his amazing menu which is cooked by lessyoil.. It is one of the best resturant i had ever visited. All the items i tasted amazing. The kabiraji was good but the combination of chili chiken and mixed rice won my heart and the biriyani is too good.. And the mutton kasha consisted of 5pcs with a resanable price...

This outlet near Bigbazar VIP Road. Situated at 4th floor of the building. Good ambience, nice staffs. Famous for some bengali fish dishes. They also offer Chinese foods. Ordered chicken kabiraji, golden fried prawns, veg fried rice and chilli fish. All items were freshly prepared and tasty. Some fish items are not available sometimes. They also provide home delivery above certain amount of order.

This outlet is located on VIP road, adjacent to big bazar. Apart from the signature items( brain chop, kabiraji, cutlets) contemporary Chinese items are also available. They have a sit and dine option. Price of food items are reasonable.

It is one of the oldest food chains in kolkata and has many branches. We went to the one in Baguihati. It is located on 4th floor of the MBaazar mall. It was a pleasant surprise to see that it is a very spacious seating arrangement, nothing too fancy just basic stuff. The price is very reasonable . We went for a fish kabiraji (must try) and it costed 180. If you stay nearby you must visit this place.
