I recently rediscovered this place from my childhood. Used to come here with fam on weekend drives and rainy evenings for rolls and snacks. Had been craving their food in this lockdown so much, I came here to pack food up and eat in the car. They've closed dine-in services anyway. I absolutely love their rolls, fries, momos, chinese starters. Their pepper chicken is a perfect accompaniment to chilled beer, and their egg chicken rolls are unlike any other.
A hidden gem.
I keep crossing this far food joint and was dying to give it a try. Their chicken cutlet is amazing. It's so perfectly crusted and the interior is filled with ample amount of delicious chicken. Fish fry here is also good but I'd go back for more of the cutlets.
Felt great. The burgers and sandwiches.. All good for snacks. Went there more then two times. Ordered many times. Its cheap and awesome for snacks party.
The Chinese food is fabulous. It is reasonable and does not pinches your pocket too hard. I definitely recommend the Babycorn . Baked N Fried is great for dinner and to grab a bite. Do not go on the look of this place, the food tastes wonderful.

This is one of the best take away resturants in Kolkata. Be it their unbelievably good Fish Fingers,their amazing Shanghai Rice,their Garlic fish or their Chicken Manchurian,this place has most of the standard Chinese dishes you love at a pocket friendly price. 4 fish fingers with fries is 62, Shanghai rice 130 odd..Chicken chow or rice under 100 and Chicken/fish side dishes at 110-120,this place is the perfect place to order food when you are broke and still want quality Chinese food. However,their seating is the biggest problem, a reason why they could never be a proper dine-in, inspite of being there since ages. They also don't give home delivery beyond 2-3km(Max Gariahat and Phari area they deliver food to) which is another disadvantage if you are too lazy for a pickup. I would however request Zomato to introduce food delivery and/or self pickup at this restaurant because it remains extremely busy even on weekdays with people calling and ordering food and many of them waiting for their order at the restaurant. But overall, this is one of those hidden gems in Kolkata every one of us turns to when we need a change to Chinese food at pocket friendly rates.

The owner is a very friendly person. It’s a small place but it’s been there since a long time and been the same .. the fish fry and the chicken wantons in garlic sauce are a must try..
This insignificant looking roadside shop sells amazing food at a very affordable rates in an area like Ballygunj Place. Baked and Fried is primarily for take-aways and the staff here are very friendly. I recently had their excellent fish fry that had a big, fresh fillet of fish with a fine coating of bread crumbs. The noodles were 'okayish' and their chili chicken offers good, soft and succelent chunks of chicken in light gravy. The veg manchurian was alright. I've also had their momos previously which were very good and contained a hefty dose of juicy stuffing.The food is light on oil and spices, which is really comforting and the ingredients used are very fresh. The food here tastes good and the price is affordable too.Ordered from here a few times and the best are chicken Manchurian and chilli chicken.A nice joint to try various stuffs.

Has been one of the most consistent eateries in the Ballygunge place area. The momo, soups, kebabs and the chicken cutlets are amazing and have surprisingly retained their taste for years.
One of the best places to have evening snacks around the city. Rolls, cutlets, fish fry, and soups are just heavenly.
Baked N Fried brings back memories. It's iconic Chicken Cutlet and the owner, Mr. Mukherjee actually go hand in hand. If you are in Kolkata, go there, taste it.

Baked and Fried is corner street snack bar located at the residential locality at Ballygunge...at a glace it would look like any other snack shack but just don't go by the look of it,as this place serves one of the best quality snacks such as Rolls Momo, Fish Fry, Soup and also Chinese dishes...a must visit for people who are looking for a quick evening bite.
This place is run by a very nice and courteous Bengali gentleman who loves to serve his customers with a smile.
Note: Do try the Fish Fry and Fish Roll its the best in Kolkata.
Just diagonally opposite to 6 Ballygunge place ,this gem is a must try for quality food lovers , specially If u like rolls.
I dont know what they use i dont have any acidity problem after having their rolls.

Not a place to look for ambience or decor. The food quality given the price is just awesome. Their home delivery service is also pretty quick. Their chinese food is pretty nice and so are their fries and cutlets. A frequent place to buy from, when there is no food at home. Recommended from my end.

This restaurant can be categorised as a fast food joint but this is a healthy one. The owner, Mr. Mukherjee, is a stickler for both quality and service. This food joint opens for business at around 6:30pm and is closed on Thursdays. This place is the best when it comes to quality, quantity and price. And moreover, this place is conveniently located so that car owners can park their car while ordering. Moreover, if you live in or around Ballygunge Place, you can request them for delivery.
Awesome food and very pocket friendly. If you have not had their fish fry, mixed noodles and chicken cutlet you have missed something. Much better than Campari and Bijoli Grills or popular places but trust me better than the best. Awesome....
The best ever fast food take away station in and around Ballygunge and certainly one of the best in kolkata... While staying in Ballygunge phari, this is my all time favorite and most visited place for fish fry and chicken cutlet. Also the mixed Hakka noodles, fish fingers, chili fish and Egg chicken roll lemon coriander soup is a must try. With love....

My choice Fried Momos you must have the Chicken Stalk Soup (which comes with free) damm it's Thursday and they are closed.
The Dry Chilli Chicken is yummy and I generally eat it all by itself.
My friends like the gravy chow, which I haven't had.
I hear most dishes are good. I have been going to this place for a fee years now and they have maintained the quality and pricing.
It's not a sit and dine, even though four to five people can eat. The parking is easily available, been a residential area.
You have to wait too long even though they deliver to the neighborhood, which seems to be their primary market.
