This is my 2nd time visit...well decorated place...Staff behavior was good...Food prices are ok.. Food tastes good... This time we ordered mixed Friedrich and Singhapuri chicken
Mixed Friedrich was tasty but Singhapuri chicken was not good to eat, chickens were not cooked properly....otherwise it's 8 out of 10
Full filling and every penny worthy. This restaurant gets shadowed under many popular names at Barrackpore but Sona is actually a good restaurant with authentic taste. I have been there multiple times and they never gave a chance to complain. It got renovated recently which just made the ambience more beautiful.
Note: They offer a large quantity with starters and naan so order wisely.
We had ordered for Nan (Both Butter Nan & Kashmiri Nan), Shahi Paneer, Chicken Banjara Kebab, Veg Fried Rice, Schezwan Fish, & Chicken Achari Masala. As usual, the taste was good enough.

Good food with great ambiance. Clean and sober atmosphere is what you can feel here.
There are 3 rooms. AC1, AC2, and AC3. First two are used as restaurant. The third one is for family or corporate gatherings.
I love this place. Lost count on how many times I visited here. The food is really tasty and the quantity is good according to the prices they charge. You can come here if you want tasty food at affordable prices! My go-to food place.

Had Mutton Biriyani with Badam Lassi. It cost ₹270. However i must say the biriyani was good. But not worth it. As you can say quantity was very less. Good for girl and boys whose appetite is small. For us we need 2 plates. However quality was better than Dada Boudi as Dada Boudi biriyani is full of Oil. But taste wise Dada Boudi recommended.
