Their array of sweets for the ridiculous price point (compared to the nearby suresh outlet) is quite amazing.
The chanar polao, rosogolla, lyangcha, malpua and Shar bhaja are excellent. They also make very high quality khoa kheer and paneer if you need for cooking.
The radhaballavi experience has significantly deteriorated in the last year, serving a watery torkari full of potato peels and devoid of much salt or flavour. Used to be quite great. Seems like there's not much of a customer base for that and they are more concerned about the hygienic packing
Do I really need to give a review. Being a resident of dhakuria this place has been love for all of us who are sweet lovers. Amazing varieties of sweet. And their samosa is just love. Too good in taste.
The Best Mishti Shop perhaps In Dhakuria ( Suresh Sweets may give competition ). All types of sweets can be bought n quality is very Good. The large no of footfall specially for the Kochuri in the morning and Singara in the evening is proof of the fact that it is the best in the area.

Situated near Dhakuria Railway Station. Must try Kachuri and dal available in the early morning. Can also try variety of Sweets and snacks available in the shop.
It's a local sweet shop near dhakuria station. The sweets here are so good and at an affordable that it can be compared with the much costlier renowned sweet shops. Unlike most Bengalis I hate sweets, barring a few things. Try the rosogolla here, especially the gurer rosogolla in this winter. Heaven! Mishti doi too,kono kotha hobena. Whenever I get sweets from here for my guests they always ask "eta kon Dokan re,ki darun!" I had tried the sandeshs too in my childhood, never liked it from any other local shops.đ
Everytime I come home I crave for the jalebis here, morn- night always out of stock :( that popular!

Edit: tried their dhokla yesterday. It's so pathetic! Too sweet. I've had from sweet shops earlier too but far better than this.
Taraknath Mistanna Bhandar is very close to Dhakuriya station. I visited here and tried few of their sweets. The few things that I really liked was the Laddu, Lancha and the Kaju bari. They were very good. I had their Kalojam which I didn't like much.

Situated near to Dhakuria Railway Station, this is a decent sized sweet shops catering to the local people. Have tried the Radhaballavi here and Mishti Doi to pang my hunger. The Mishti Doi was particularly good and at par with some of the popular brands serving the same in this city. Affordable pricing!
For many years I have bought sweets, samosa, radha ballavi, etc. Especially their rabri is fascinating. The price might seem a bit expensive but the taste & quantity is worth of it. Its located near Dhakuria Railway Station & it has another branch near Nanidar Chayer Dokan.
Good sweet shop. Stuffs are good. Good collection of swwets in low price. Their samoshas are very good.
