This joint is situated just on the opposite foot of the famous Beijing restaurant of China Town. I must say this restaurant is highly underrated compared to the great food they serve with minimal price. This is my favourite joint to visit in China Town and have been here ample times. They have a separate family dinning space which is always decorated with balloons and dim lights. One can enjoy a good couple of hours with friends or family here without even going too hard on your wallet.
The place nice... We were a group of 7 people and they did a very good service... Food was good too... But they did not had a music system as a background music... The price was really pocket friendly... We expected a rate but the bill was really low as per our expectations (including drinks)... Really liked it... Would visit again...

This is an old restaurant situated in China town, Tangra. Price is reasonable and the quality of food is also good. You can visit the place with your friends.

Went in on the occasion of my mum's birthday today and I am really very impressed with this place.
Located just opposite Beijing, this is a very cozy and comfortable place with courteous staff and zero noise. And as for the food, I loved all of them!
We ordered a host of starters that included Mongolian chicken, chilli garlic pepper chicken, fried cruncy chicken, schezwan fish dry and some more. As for the main course we went with both noodles and rice along with Empire Chicken.
Each and every dish was well cooked and sesoned and quite light. The waiting time for food wasn't rushed which led us to enjoy our dinner nicely.
The ambience was also soothing which was an added plus.
Lastly, the prices are quite pocket friendly and nothing too over the top.
The perfect place for a quick grab. The food is good and goes easy on your pocket. The staffs are courteous and polite. Overall a nice experience.
Situated absolutely in the heart of China Town and the interior is good too.

Golden Empire has a vast area allotted to the restaurant, yet the footfall in very low. We had walked in for lunch around 1 pm and all the while we dined there, the restaurant remained empty. The roomy interior seemed like a deserted joint.
Now, coming to the food, the quality, as well as the quantity, was good and we enjoyed our meals, but due to lack of customers, we were apprehensive about the food's freshness.
However, you want ample food, which is tasty yet reasonable, then this is the right place in China Town.

Me and my friend went to this place on saturday and it is a good place. We took chicken 65, one chicken tomato thick soup, beer and bacardi nib. Well the food quality is good and the service is ok as well but the place is empty and don't know why. Though one thing I noticed that if you pay by card then you have to go downstairs with your card for payment which is a hectic part.
Tangra is always known for it great, inexpensive chinese food and this place is no exception. It has the vintage, typical Chinese restaurant vibe. Staff is friendly and pocket pinch is super affordable. Great place to eat at. Special mention for veg Tom yum clear soup, so flavourful. The roads inside Tangra are clumsy, sometimes dirty but restaurant is absolutely clean

Located just opposite to Beijing in China Town if you're little low on budget and can't afford Beijing's high prices for the time being then you can consider Golden Empire. But point is, should you?
Just like most of the places in China Town they also have a huge dining upstairs and the ambiance is quite simple but feels good. This big place had only 2 staffs but surprisingly they were very quick.
Their alcohol menu is quite long but 90% weren't present. Thank God I got my favourite pint Bira White. Prices are bit high for alcohol.

Fish to prawn to chicken starter items were good but quantity for prawn and shrimps were quite low as per China Town restaurant standard. Drumstick in Hong Kong Style and Red Pepper Fish are must try. In mains just took plain Hakka Noodles that tasted okay.
Overall nice experience but they don't offer luxury as some big brands in China Town like Beijing or Big Boss. Per person cost including alcohol is around Rs.800.
We visited Golden Empire, after a friend suggested us. We were pretty surprised by the quality/quantity to price ratio. Amazing. We ordered Chicken Wonton, Golden Fried Prawn, Empire Chicken, Cantonese Mixed Noodles, Mixed Rice. All for 1500. The taste of each and every item were truly amazing! Recommended
