The staffs were very friendly and courteous. The ambience was really cool and appropriate as per their theme. The food was delicious. However a bit heavy on the pocket but then you don’t get to taste such awesome Biriyani everyday. Rann Biriyani and Awadhi Biriyani is what they are most famous for. Along with that we tried Ghost Nalli Kebab and it just melted in our mouth.
The ultimate Awadhi dining experience. The ambience is special. Biryani is amazing, so are the kebabs. The price is on the higher side but its worth. The waiters are also very amiable and courteous.
Kima kalija and moti biriyani was so tasty food quality was so nice very hygiene place in this pandamic situation and hygiene products

I ordered "Murgh Metiaburz Biryani", it's the perfect Kolkata style biryani with two solid pieces of chicken and one mandatory piece of potato. It's lite yet flavourful, makes you crave for more. ❤️

Oudh 1590 organized Biryani Festival like every year with different uncommon varieties of Biryani.Me and my friends choose to taste some one by one.
Oudh already has established their trademark on biryani by making it flavoursome yet very light and appetizing on your stomach.Quantity of one biryani served in earthen pot is enough for two person.And what makes them one of the best in this segment is their effort to make biryani not using excessive Ghee Jayfal Jayatri Alubakhra etc masala.

1)MURGH YAKHNI BIRYANI
-.A kashmiri cuisine where yoghurt and saffron are two main ingredients.Kind of sweet flavour.so you must have some gravy with it.
2)BRAIN MASALA-
I gave one star less for this gravy.Though the gravy tasted good but quantity of brain was little comparing to price.
3)QALMI KEBAB -highly recommended.
4)SUGANDHI MAHI- fresh bhetki cubes grilled and perfectle marinated with yogurt saffron and Gondhoraj.

-my favourite among the kebabs based on mutton.highly recommended.

Its their specialty.though I am not sure about the authenticity of their version.Bcoz according to my knowledge raan biryani is made with a whole roasted leg of mutton while they provide shredded mutton.The taste is great.Amount of mutton is good.
9)SHIKARI HANSA HANDI BIRYANI
-My most favourite from their festival.Full of meat.and so flavorful aromatic rice !

Ordered a Awadhi Mutton Handi Biryani from Oudh1590 Kalindi outlet. Orginal price was 395/- but after discount from online food delivery app it took 382/-.
Biryani was very light , 2 PCs succulent mutton pieces and 2 pcs egg were perfectly cooked.

Oudh 1590 has always been and will be one of the best places for Mughlai cuisine. Starting from their ambience to their staffs to decor... everything is perfect and very well organised.
My latest visit to @oudh1590
(Southern Avenue) was delightful with all the flavoursome food, good music and most importantly to see how they are maintaining hygiene in the best possible way.
I liked the awadhi handi raan biriyani,, mutton was nicely cooked .. we order chicken kasha, Mahi Kalia & lime soda along with biriyani .. firni in desert is a must try.. Overall the ambiance was quite soothing, which was enhanced by the evergreen ghazals. Definitely will recommend to visit this branch.
The atmosphere is very good, and the periodic ambience is very enjoyable. And the music, oh 💯. Every detail is very nice, neat and clean.
Service is good too. Food is dependable, generally good but this time my kabab and shredded mutton in biriyani was a bit salty, quite sure it wasn't the regular taste.
Otherwise everything is good.
A visit to this place is like experiencing a teleportation back to the era where kings and courtesans would enjoy listening to the ghazals while sitting in a mesmerizing palace setting.
The interiors here evoke the charm of an bygone era and the ghazals which play in the background set the right tempo for you to experience the rich and flavorful Awadhi cuisine.
I would definitely recommended this place with a caution that some outlets have better ratings than others, so you may choose accordingly.
Was the first time visiting this particular outlet of Oudh. And like all other outlets, it did not disappoint. The royal ambience, the classical sufi music in the background and the good behaviour of the staff. The food was beautifully prepared.
We ordered the Ghosht Awadhi Handi Biriyani, which was light, full of biriyani flavour and the mutton was so delicate. We also had Murgh Metiabruz Biriyani, which was good but not to the levels of the mutton.
We ended the evening with a must have if you are in Oudh. Their Shahi Tukda, its a MUST have, you need to order it (if you have diabetes, risk it for one night but order it). Traditional bread pudding, kheer on top ended up with dry fruits and saffron. Just Wow!!
the mutton galawati kabab stands up to its name and melts in your mouth. the chicken was a bit fibrous in every dish. Biriyani was as usual and the phirni was really tasty.

Oudh is basically famous for its ambience and food quality definitely. Ambience is awesome which attracts people, food is tasty.Though oudh biryani is not very spicy, it quite dry type.
Food was good. Galauti kabab was wow and just melt in mouth. Biriyani was so so , I don't like it and price it bit higher.
Biryani and galouti kabab is best. They were excellent with the right taste and aroma.
Prices might be at premium but worth the food and ambience

This is one of the best restaurant in Kolkata. They serves one of the best biriyani and the ambiance is so beautiful❤. It gives a vibes of royalty. The light and the pictures is just took me to the oudh of 1590 period and the gajal in the background just awesome. Now come to the quality of food- they serves authentic awadhi biriyani in a copper coated plate. The biriyani is so good and non-oily and the mutton is also so soft. Their runn biriyani and bhuna ghost is also very good. Overall this is the best mughlai restaurant with great ambiance and great food in reasonable price.
