My first visit to Skai was during Pujas. It had newly opened and felt like a good place to visit and the ambience was really enticing. Located on the roof top of Quest mall it had the option of both indoors and outdoors. And provides a fabulous view of the city!
It was an evening visit with a long lost friend to catch up so we ordered drinks and some food to go with it.
The crabs on the menu really called to me when I saw it and I knew I had to order them! The staff explained how the dish is made and we ordered the stuffed crab and our drinks. The drink service was very prompt.
#Butter Garlic & Gin Baked Crabs
The crabs were delicious and full of soft melt in the mouth meat. The flavour of Gin was new and added an amazing essence to the whole dish.
#Gambas Al Ajilo
A Spanish inspired prawn dish was nothing like I ever had. The prawns were perfectly cooked and the light juices were full of flavour.
We enjoyed both the ambience and the food immensely. The staff was very courteous and gave us ample time to choose and enjoy our meal.
Awaiting for it to open soon to try some of the other unique dishes.

My #first visit to this roof top lounge at #QuestMall a couple of months ago for a late night dinner - I stationed myself at the open air section and it was dimly lit however still managed to click my usual food pictures courtesy #Oneplus7Pro..
#Premium is the word that hits your mind the moment you step inside this upmarket eatery - there is something classy about almost everything inside right from the lighting to furniture to overall decor.. Service is prompt.. Pricing is on the premium side for obvious reasons but worth every penny if you are ready to splurge given the out of world ambience alongwith the top notch culinary experience this space has to offer.. Perched on the roof top floor of the Quest Mall with an indoor & outdoor section offering beautiful bird's eye view of the urban landscape all around - this could just be a perfect setting for that romantic dinner or a family dinner as well..
Started off the dinner with a mocktail - #BerryCooler - a great concoction made of different berries..
#CrabCakes: Crab cakes made of bird eye chilli & Kaafir lime alongwith a coriander & scallion topping was super delicious - the presentation was definitely out of the box..
#MoroccanBeefBaklava: Baklava is generally associated with sweets but they have turned it into a savoury Baklava filled with Beef & Garlic labneh which essentially stands for Garlic cheese.. I must admit that the end result was terrific..
#MisoGlazedPorkBelly: Pork Belly whenever miso glazed (marinated with miso paste) makes it even more tender than usual and results in more deliciousness - it was no different in this case as well.. Served with Blue Pea Barley and baby carrots - this was one hell of a delicacy..
#PopcornParfait: Made of brownie bites, popcorn soil & coffee creme anglaise - it looks and tastes equally delicious..
#SaltedCaramelBrownie - Me being an eternal dessert lover - couldn't resist the temptation to try out a second one as well from thier compact yet outstanding dessert menu - Glad I did bcz it was nothing like an usual brownie - Crumbled brownie & walnuts served on the plate with salted caramel sauce - every bite felt heavenly..

I went to this place on 25th and i must say the view from the rooftop is just amazing.i have spent such wonderful time there with my close friends. I just love the ambience of this place.. ❤👌

Truffle Fries : Regular fries infused with the aroma and a subtle taste of truffle oil. Served with black garlic aioli and spicy rémoulade chorizo butter in tiny tubes.

Parmesan Gnocchi : Gnocchi tossed in pesto, set in a bowl of burrata fondue, sprinkled with balsamic pearls. Loved the combination of flavors, especially the balsamic vinegar pearls that added a touch of molecular gastronomy to the entire dish.

Skai has been on my wish list for quite some time now. Thankfully no cover charge to see the Kolkata skyline! Nice view, amazing decor and good ambience. Staff is attentive & earnest but has difficulty explaining the menu, specially the fusion food concepts. Bar menu is extensive & food menu innovative. Went around 6:30-7 pm, it was way too dark outside. A little bit of mood lighting would definitely be a nice change. Crab cakes were pretty good, an interesting take on chicken malai as well. I am very disappointed with the profiteroles served though, I expected better. I am not into fusion food and personally I don’t like rather don’t understand the entire concept. But this place is worth a visit for sure.
Needless to say about the perfect ambiece of this place and the interiors too.

2) We ordered Malai chicken and a lobster dish which we expected to taste better

Baban service is good.the food is great. Specially the gnocchi made with parmesan cheese with balsamic vinegar

This place has a good outdoor sitting area but also has an indoor place with the bar. We tried beer battered squid. I didn't like the taste of squid, but those who like it will enjoy this. Then I tried the butter garlic and gin baked crab. I liked the taste but this is not better than butter garlic lobster (obviously). This was followed by miso glazed pork belly. I liked this one. It had a unique taste. For dessert I took a vanilla ice cream sundae and it was really good. The hot chocolate was beautifully poured over the vanilla ice cream. So the next time I visit I'll probably be trying out some other items on the menu. Overall ambience and service was good.
Visited with friends over the weekend for lunch. There is a good dining area at the rooftop, but we prefer to sit indoors due to sunny weather. We ordered watermelon mocktail, pineapple mocktails, prawn starter(suggested by the restaurant), chicken skewers, vetki fish with black rice in red Thai curry. It's a bit costly. But the food quality is good, specially the watermelon mocktail and prawn starter. This time we tried a completely different main course (Vetki fish with black rice).We spent a memorable time over there.Recommended for family and friends.
Great food, service, ambience. There’s seating inside and outdoors. Presents such a great view of the city. Fantastic retro music by a good DJ. Perfect place to celebrate special occasions.
Fantastic management overall. The food is very well presented and it you’re not sure what you want to eat, ask the waiters for recommendations- they’re very well trained

Extremely refined flavour in all their dishes that I tasted. Chic interior with a nice view. We were there for lunch and none of the dishes or drinks disappointed us. Particularly, we loved their in-house sauce. All the staff were polite and helpful in suggesting their special dishes.
The vibe was awesome, view was great. Drinks were good. We enjoyed our time. The only issue is the open area is also a smoking zone, so other guests will end up smoking cigarettes right beside you and you end breathing smoke which I definitely didn't ask for. It would be great if the staff designated a section of the open area for smoking.
It is located on the top floor of the Quest Mall. We went there around 4.30pm and sat on the rooftop. The view was amazing. You can enjoy the sunset while having your food and drinks. We ordered Shrimp tacos, Gambas Al Ajilo, Bbq chicken & Scamorza Flat Bread and fresh lime soda. The quantity was little compared to the price. Shrimp tacos were average but Gambas Al Ajilo and Bbq chicken & Scamorza Flat Bread were really delicious. Their food presentation style was impressive. All staff were polite and well-behaved. Overall it was a good experience for me.
located on the top floor of quest mall, the ambiance and food is amazing. They serve killer cocktails as well. They have a set lunch menu with a variety of options and mind you, go with a starving stomach .

It's not bad. The drinks were a tad disappointing. The live gig lasted for an hour, but the rooftop was pleasant, but can get sweaty. Also, the chicken skewers could have been grilled more, it was a little hard to chew. Smoker friendly.
This place had a pretty cool ambience with an interesting options on menu. Loved their Asparagus leeks with pecan baked crepe with cheese fondue and Yuzu Cheesecake.
