A good place in hatibagan for multicusine resturant . Little bit offlane with a royal but old-school type ambiance . Food quality and quantity is perfect for cravings. But price is little high
By chance i came to know about this place today while i was searching for some good restaurant. I checked the menu and found it to be a multi cuisine restaurant. It is located a bit inside the lane. But after getting inside i felt glad i found a good place in hatibagan. I really liked this place...the place is old but royal in style and you have your personal space. THE FOOD QUALITY IS ALSO VERY GOOD AND QUANTITY IS APT AND PRICE IS A BIT HIGH BUT REASONABLE.... I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT TO ALL WHO ARE LOOKING FOR A GOOD MULTICUISINE RESTAURANT.
Provides a good ambiance.
Food quality and quantity both are good and the prices are reasonable too.Overall a good place.Just need to work on the time.
#youmustvisit
This restaurant had a garden earlier which is now under renovation. Ambience is good and food is also nice.
Located at a walking distance of 3min from Arsalan Hatibagan. They have a huge Ambience with seperate banquet garden facility. Comfortable space with good interiors and humble staff.
Food is also quite reasonable and amount was enough according to price. I tried,
1. Chicken lung fung soup (4/5 ⭐) - We were two people so we order one by two of the soup but it was enough as a starting delicacy. The soup was creamy with veggies and chicken. Loved it.
2. Chicken Gravy Chowmein (4.5/5 ⭐) - Amount was first thing I was impressed of, it was more than enough for two people with medium hunger. Full with chicken and veggies. Absolutely tasty.
3. Chilli chicken Dry (4/5 ⭐) - Ordered this side dish with gravy chow and this was also amazing. Only felt a little burnt. Otherwise enough amount was provided for two.
Had a nice experience, would prefer them for small get togethers and banquet parties. 🙂
I had heard good stuff about this place from my friends. So last time when I was in Kolkata, I had to visit this place with the same bunch. We went for lunch and ordered Chinese food items - Manchow Chicken Soup, Chicken Drumstick, Bagicha Special Fried Rice, Schezwan Chicken, Oyster Sauce Chicken, Pan-fried Mixed Noodles.
Here are my ratings:
4/5 for Food: The quality and the quantity of the food served was great.
I'd like to specially mention about the Bagicha Special Fried Rice, Schezwan Chicken, and Oyster Sauce Chicken. The rice item was light, non-greasy, had chicken, egg, and prawns, and was topped with a rarely-fried egg and prawn crackers. The Schezwan Chicken was loaded with garlic and was pleasantly hot. The Oyster Sauce Chicken was mild and had lots of veggies.
The Pan-fried Mixed Noodles was not a great choice as we didn't like the crispy texture of the noodles.
5/5 for the Ambience: The restaurant is situated in one of the alleys of Hatibagan. It might be difficult for one to find it the first time but the search is worth it.
The interiors of the restaurant give a feel of the yesteryears. There are brightly light chandeliers hanging from the ceiling. There's also a huge, archaic mirror on one of the walls.
There are two seating areas - the interiors and the exterior, meaning the garden. The garden is supposed to be brightly lit at night. We missed sitting outside as the place was getting prepped for a wedding.
5/5 for the Price: The items were well-priced.
5/5 for the Service: The service was great.
Went here yesterday... nice ambience quick service nd pocket frndly .. ordered Chicken tikka masala .. chicken biriyani nd butter roti chicken tikka was tastyy nd so was the biriyani i loved it the staff was very nice also
My friend recommended me to visit this restaurant and i really loved it
I had a plate of biryani and it was worth the every rupee I spent
In frame : Mixed pan fried noodles
Mixed gravy noodles
Hongkong chicken
Damn tasty ❤️
During the time of Durga Puja bagicha turned out to be our hunger savior we took 2 plate mixed fried rice and chicken munchurian which comes in 10 pieces
We went during the puja that's why we waited in queue for 1 hour 🙂. However the food was really tasty. Their mutton is just so tender. But the amount of the polao could have been a little more according to the price. And their service time was also very slow.
We had ordered
1. Egg fried rice
2. Chili Chicken
3. Kaju and kishmish pulao
4.Mutton Handi
Food was no doubt delicious !! Price was fully justified if you consider the quantity they served. Their must try items are Mixed Rice, Kolapuri Chicken, Kabuli Naan, Bagicha Special Chicken, Masala Kulcha & Irani Chicken. If you don’t want spicy food then you can order their Irani Chicken with Kabuli Naan. It’s gonna water your mouth for sure. On an average if you spend 350/- per person then you’ll get plenty of options in your plate and if you go with group (that we did) then that’s much better because you’ll get more options together. For starter their recommendation is Chicken Kasturi Kebab. It was so yummy !! Staffs are well behaved and they will recommend best items for you as per your taste pallet. Online payment if you do then you will have to pay the 5% GST otherwise if you pay in cash then no tax will be applicable. Enough of talking. Try the restaurant and enjoy. For any queries feel free to ask.
Bagicha is a Classical Restaurant in Shyampukur with Good Aesthetics, Good Service and of course Good Food as well
It is overall a very cozy restaurant, but I could appreciate it more if they brought back the Old Outdoor Gardens as part of the restaurant.
Fantastic quality at commendable price range. Food quality and options are really worth. Good location.
Bagicha has been a hidden gem for the middle class people who always look for good food with authenticity at a reasonable price. Personally, i love this place for their food, ambience and specially the behaviour of the staffs.
Loved their biryani, and specially the kasturi kebab was the showstopper.
Good food quality in decent price.. nuns, butter nuns, kulchas were really soft n tasty.. Indian chicken/paneer sides dish is a good option.. In Chinese though d Chilly chicken was ok.. bt didn't like d fried rice at all.. for starters fish fry was good..
It's a old place to go with a royal ambience and mouthwatering Chinese food bcz we had only Chinese here. We had Noodles with sezuan chicken and one fresh lime soda although our order was quite simple but food was really tasty.
It's a banquet cum restaurant in precisely. The sitting area is good enough. The service by the wait is appreciated and the food was well prepared and it was really yummy.
The name is quite impressive but the place doesn't go well with the name
Food is good no doubt
Service is a little bit slow
The ambience is good. Looks quite vintage and beautiful. Food taste is average. But you can give it a try with family or friends.
