This is one vintage diner located at the 5 point crossing, Shyambazar.I saw people mostly coming here for toast, omelette and tea, though this place is very small yet they provide great food,and has an old Kolkata feel,I tried the following items over there:

Through Zomato I come to know there is a food joint in Shyam bazar named Sital ashram ..... checking the photos I found this is one of my all time favorites and I am so happy to find it in Zomato.. I am in love with it since they serve only bread toast , omelette and tea or coffee.... their menu cards are changing to cope with these advanced days.. but they are still pocket friendly...foods are tasty as well

This ever busy place was on my bucket list for an year..its so difficult to get a seat..finally ticked off..
I went for the Grilled chicken sandwich..it was good..the fillings were good..loved the taste..
The cheese chicken omlette though above average was nothing out of the world..a tad bit salt and chilli would hav done the job..
Ice cream smoothie sundae..big disappointment..ordered chocolate received a two in one..a scoop of icecream in a glass with two wafers..disappointing..but given the rush and taste...this is the place..pocket friendly and good.
a small joint located just adjacent to the shyambazar 5 point. if you want a pocket friendly breakfast or a lunch this is the place to be. dim toast the famous dish of North Calcutta is found here and is the best apart from this one will get varieties of omlettes and sandwiches.. my suggestion is opting for their Spanish omlette.. its brilliant. must visit
An old pocket friendly joint, situated at shyambazar 5 point crossing. Serves delicious quick bites at cheap rate. The only problem here is the space though, you may have to wait outside for few minutes to get a seat. Tried many items, among them my favourite is grilled corn and grilled chicken sandwich followed by cheese chicken omlette. Would definitely recommend everyone.
i visit here once or twice a week as it very near and the cheese omelette here is very reasonable as compared to tge other joints....its quite famous fr breakfast and evening snacks stuffs..a must try here.. i oftenly hv omelette,chicken omelette or chicken chese omellete when i visit here

Tried the Cheese Corn Sandwich. It's great and Pocket friendly. Tea is good too.
Service is quick and Staffs are friendly.
Overall, a nice visit. Since this place serves breakfast items mostly, it remains crowded BUT it's worth the wait ! :)
Kedarbabu'r restaurant is great place for a quick bite. Fish fry and Vegetable chop here are very tasty. Fish Fry costs only 99/-. One must visit this place to see variety of food options here.
