I'm not a South Indian food fan and I disliked dosa so much but after visiting this place my view has completely changed. Now I'm in love with dosa and if it's from SFC!♥️
We tried Egg chicken dosa, Schezwan chicken dosa and lassi and in my personal opinion Schezwan dosa is love they serve chicken seperately so you can customize your own mouth watering bite. Lassi was soo refreshing with the sprinkle of rock salt. Quantity is sufficient and quality is also gd at reasonable price. In veg paneer is also available and other options too so from my side it's a BIG THUMB'S UP👍
This place is near my college and every other day I used to have my lunch here. The best is south indian dishes like Dosa .
So today is Onam❤️a traditional south indian festival.on the occasion of Onam I would like to share some authentic and best south indian dishes from saffron food cafe❤️the taste of chicken cheese dhosa was really awesome.but I just love the cheese uttapam 😍 it tasted like the original south indian uttapam ❤️if you haven't tried south indian food yet then this is the best place for you❤️

The Saffron Restaurant is located beside Readymade Centre, Sodepur. This one’s a South Indian Restaurant serving a variety of veg and non-veg dishes. The ambiance of the restaurant is pretty and the staffs are courteous and the service is good.

1. Dahi Vada - The vadas were soft and the chutney tasted really good.

I love this there service is great and food muuah chicken dosa and dahi vada just awesome only problem is the space is small I think that can be neglected as service is good
Last evening I stopped by this shop and tried cheese chicken omlette. I am really satisfied with the service and the taste of food. Try this place for sure, they serve varieties of dosa which are tasty too.

I have tried out this place a lot , however I have missed out on writing its review.
This is one of the 3 places which serves good dosa in sodepur.The other two being pramathnath and shibani sweets,but this one is a cut above them as it is a proper restaurant and not a makeshift eating place the other two.
We went there when my mother was having dosa cravings. We ordered rawa masala dosa,cheese masala dosa,idli and coconut uttapam.
The rawa masala dosa was obviously the star of the show.The masala aloo was served separately. The dosa was super huge and super crunchy.
The cheese masala dosa had decent serving of cheese.
The idli was soft and huge.
The coconut uttapam was kind of lacklustre.I would rather order masala uttapam next time or cheese.
The white chutney could have been thicker.I have had thicker white chutney at Haldirams.
The prices are in range of about 100 each.Total bill was 410.No separate taxes.
Oh and one more thing - a guy in the other table had ordered a chicken omlette. I couldnot stop myself drooling .It looked delicious. I will definitely order it next time.Recommended.

Love their dosa.
They serve the sambar as much as you needed.
The ambiance is good. The sitting arrangement is of approx 30ppl.
This retro is pocket friendly.
South Indian dishes are best in here. There are plenty of restaurants serve South Indian food but if you really want to taste or craving for dosa these should be on the top of the list in sodepur😌

I have been to this restaurant multiple times. Dhosas are quite amazing, especially Chicken Dhosa. But I have noticed one thing every time I have ordered any milkshakes they took huge amounts of time to serve. Even had to wait after finishing the meal. And the taste is average.

All the chutneys were amazing as well.
The dahi vada was soo refreshing.

It's a quaint little place where you'll find varieties of South Indian dishes major focus on the different Dosas they make. The food is good. The staff behaviour is good as well. Overall I always have a good experience there.
I've been eating in saffron for quite a long time. The quality of food has remained the the same. It's delicious and and gives you full satisfaction. Love to eat here.
