The honey mustard fish starter was a pleasant change from the regular chinese starters. The Kung Pao Chicken tasted quite authentic. All in all, the food will remind you of Tangra Restaurants and the place is therefore, appropriately named. Portions were good and I would totally recommend it as a family Chinese restaurant.
I had pan dried chilli fish here. M not much of a goodie but this was probably the best chilli fish I had ever had. Extremely soft, and tasty!
I really liked the noodles and chilli chicken. They are providing safe and well cooked tasty food during COVID. Lived up to expectations!
Nice place inside Axis Mall. I have dined there on a few occasions and got food delivered a couple of times as well. Never been disappointed by the quality of the food. Great variety and taste. Worth the money.
I ordered the chicken noodles combo and a hot and sour chicken soup. Price wise food was awesome. Just wished the soup was spicy because I specifically asked for extra spice. The chilly chicken was really tasty. I am definitely ordering again. Delivery was prompt .
On 15th august ordered drums of heaven and seafood soup. Both were super tasty & filling. Quality and quantity both just awesome.

Food is a huge part of my life , playing a significant symbolic role to suit my mood accordingly. But there are constants, which give you comfort and make you feel at home. Oriental for me, is that cuisine,which is slated to be my comfort food when it comes to my choice. Be it the foreplay of sauces, or the piping luscious broth, or the noodles that cut through the palate, Oriental especially Chinese is what makes you go light yet full the whole day. One such restaurant which is known for their aunthentic interior and remarkable cuisine is 47 South Tangra Road.
Where is it? This little joint is situated on the 4th floor of Axis Mall situated at Rajarhat area, New Town.
What's it about? Indeed you will feel the China para or what we truly call the essence of Tangra as soon as we enter this. The wooden tables, the red walls with Chinese inscriptions, the dull lights, make it a truly wonderful place where you can order good food, to enrich your mood. The flavors of Chinese food tempt the customers, even the hater of Chinese food can’t hate the cuisine after having the bite of food here. From the presentation of food to the service everything is simply perfect.

47 South Tangra Road is a hidden gem in kolkata, their asian cuisines from the menu are must-try here. It is located at 4th Floor, Axis Mall, Block CS, Major Arterial Road, New Town, Kolkata.
The ambiance is just awesome. The seating arrangement was quite good and they are also maintaining social distance regarding this. From the thermal scanning to providing sanitizer, all is done when you enter the mall and as well as the restaurant. The staffs are using gloves and sanitizer while serving the customers. All the chairs and tables are also sanitized by them. Even while cooking they are maintaining all sorts of precautions.

we started with the soup which was a mixture of lemon,coriander and chicken. The soup was really good and and an excellent start of the lunch.
Next we had the steamed chicken dumplings which was so soft and the filling was too good, full of chicken and spices.
The chicken in chili oyster sauce dish was the the best among the starters , the sauce really went well with the fried chicken-balls. The taste was not so spicy but still was appropriate according to this dish.
Drums of heaven was another highly recommended dish here, it was delicious too.
The star of the show was Fish in honey lemon mustard sauce, the dish is the signature one here. A must try indeed.
Moving on to the main course :-
Chicken hakka noodles with Chicken black pepper sauce was my favourite combo. The noodles were perfectly cooked with the veggies and the chicken. The black pepper sauce with the chicken pieces elevated the taste of the combo even further.
on the other hand Chicken burnt garlic coriander Rice and Hot garlic chicken combo was fantastic, the rice was perfectly boiled and the burnt garlic flavor takes the rice dish into a whole new level, the hot garlic chicken with that was an awesome combo indeed.
Overall a great experience with food at this place. The quality of the chicken and fish they used were fresh and the quantity was sufficient too. The rates of the dishes are pocket friendly. The service here is also great. The staffs are courteous. Will visit here again soon.

Though the name is unique but it's easy to locate. Situated at the top floor of axis mall. The outlet is small yet decor is good. Also they are taking the measurements and precautions really well. So I have ordered .

Nestled in a secluded corner on the 3rd Floor of Axis Mall, stands this powerful punch of a Chinese kitchen, which has been serving quick fares of Indianized-Chinese food since quite some time now. The menu is short, simple and sweet, and is mostly focused on dishes which suits our palette. While there may be slight touches of here and there of authentic Chinese, the trade is fairly simple, yet packs quite a punch. Owing its name of perhaps one of the most popular area in this city for serving the cuisine it offers, the restaurant does its best to offer a taste, flavor and experience so acquainted to our tastebuds.
We started off with their Lemon Coriander Chicken Soup, a lovely amalgamation of flavors emancipating from the fresh coriander, intensified by the acidity of the lemon. A sudden gush of freshness wipes past your tastebuds as you get ready to dig into their steamed chicken dumplings, made out of a thin wrapper with the coating of minced chicken and minced vegetables inside, paired along with a hearty soup. Next to come was the quintessential Chicken in Dry Chilli Oyster Sauce – soft and juicy chicken coated in a thin cornflour batter, fried and lightly tossed in a tangy and sweet oyster sauce.
Drums of Heaven in Chilly Plum Sauce kept us licking our fingers, with the sticky plum sauce absolutely overshadowing its chilli counterpart making us crave for a repeat order. The star of the day however was the Fish in Honey Lemon Mustard Sauce. A perfect combination of the sweet honey, playing tunes with the slightly bitter mustard and then both of these flavors counteracted by the acidity of the lemon. What you get is a spoon of sweet, tangy, bitter and acidic flavours all at the same time in the same bite. The mains were short and sweet. Simple Chicken Hakka Noodles and Burnt Garlic Coriander Chicken Rice paired with Hot Garlic Chicken and Chicken in Black Pepper Sauce.
The quintessential Chicken Hakka Noodles was a perfect match to the Chicken in Black Pepper Sauce – the dish owing its fiery colour probably due to the red chilly paste, it had noticeable bites of black pepper hitting the tongue, thereby elevating the otherwise blant Hakka Noodles, usually being devoid of any prominent spices. The Hot Garlic Chicken on the other hand was rather simple and sweet, and it too was a perfect match with the rather elevated Burnt Garlic Coriander Chicken Rice. A perfect tale of balancing the subtle with the spiced, this was a meal worth remembering.
