ঘুরে এলাম স্বাদে বাঙালি থেকে, আমরা নিয়েছিলাম
1) ফিশ ফ্রাই
2) পাঁচ ফোড়ন চিকেন
3)কুমড়ো পাতায় চিংড়ি মাছ ভাপে
4) মাটন থালি
5) চিকেন থালি
থালি র মধ্যে ছিল, গন্ধরাজ লেবু, ভাত ( আনলিমিটেড সার্ভিং) , ডাল, ঝুরঝুরে আলু ভাজা, পটল এর দোলমা, চিকেন/মাটন, আম এর চাটনি, পায়েস
এবার আসি রেস্টুরেন্ট টির ব্যাপার এ, কিছুদিন আগে একটা ইউটিউব চ্যানেল এ দেখলাম, একটা ঘরোয়া রেস্টুরন্ট, রেস্টুরেন্ট বলা ভুল, পুরো বাড়ির মতো পরিবেশ, এক খাদ্য রসিক এবং সুদক্ষ রাধুনী দম্পতি মিলে এই বাংলা খাওয়ার এর দোকান টি খুলেছেন, এবং খাওয়ার দাওয়ার ও বেশ লোভনীয় এ লাগলো, তাই ঠিক করলাম একবার গিয়ে দেখা ই যাক
এবার খাওয়ার এর ব্যাপার এ বলি, স্টার্টার এ আমরা শুধু ফিশ ফ্রাই ই অর্ডার দিতে চাইছিলাম, বলতে গেলে উনি জোর করে ই পাঁচ ফোড়ন চিকেন টা অ্যাড করলেন, আসলে দ্বিধা তে ছিলাম, পাঁচ ফোড়ন এর সঙ্গে চিকেন টা কেমন যাবে সেই নিয়ে, বিশ্বাস করুন, এতো ভাল চিকেন স্টার্টার কোনো দিন খাইনি। ফিশ ফ্রাই টাও ভালো ছিল, ফ্রেশ ভেটকি ,বেশ মোটা মাছ এর ফিলে
মেন কোর্স এর সব খাবার গুলো ই ভালো ছিল, তবে যেটা নিয়ে বলতে হয় সেটা হলো, কুমড়ো পাতায় চিংড়ি ভাপে, পুরনো দিনের হারিয়ে যাওয়া রান্না একটা, অসাধারণ খেতে ছিল, কুমড়ো পাতা র ভেতর পোস্ত, সরষে দিয়ে চিংড়ি র স্টাফিং, তারপর কুমড়ো পাতা টাকে, বেসন/চালের গুঁড়ো দিয়ে ডীপ ফ্রাই, সেটা বেশ কুড়মুড়ে ফিল দিয়েছিল ব্যাপার টাকে! যদিও এটা থালি র অংশ নয়, আ লা কার্ট নিতে হয়েছিল! আর একটা ডিশ উল্লেখ এর দাবি রাখে পটল এর দোলমা , বেশ সুস্বাদু , সাথে ছিল, ভাত ডাল, ঝুরঝুরে আলু ভাজা, আম এর চাটনি, কাজু তে ভরপুর পায়েস
তবে যেটা র জন্য একটু অনুযোগ এর কারণ থাকে সেটা হলো, মাটন কসা টা, আমার বেশ শক্ত লেগেছে, আরেকটু সেদ্ধ হতে পারত !
পরিশেষ এ একটা কথা , খাটি বাংলা এর রেস্টুরেন্ট গুলো র মধ্যে অন্যতম সেরা! সময় নিয়ে ঘুরে আসুন একবার হতাশ হবেন না, আর হ্যা পাঁচ ফোড়ন চিকেন টা অবশ্যই ট্রাই করবেন

এই রেস্তোরাঁয় কোন কর্মচারী নেই, রেস্তোরাঁর কর্ণধার কাকু ও কাকিমা খুব যত্ন সহকারে নিজের হাতে রান্না করে নিজেরাই পরিবেশন করেন।

Perfect place to put your hands on some delicious Bengali cuisines after a tiring day of shopping at Gariahat. They provide free complimentary welcome drink for each person. We ordered a chicken thali and a mutton thali. The price is quite reasonable. The only drawback is the amount of rice they provide in each thali is not sufficient for even one person.

A nice outlet for a small family get-together serving mainly bengali fare both from east&west bengal. Dhakai Pora Murgi that I tried from this outlet was delicious along with Basanti Pulao which was delicious as well. It's a small place newly opened in the lane behind Campari. Though the place is small but it is nicely done and their food us of top quality. We tried the luchi alurdom since mangshwr ghugni was not available and egg thali which consisted of rice,moong daal,alu bhaja,1 sabji,egg kosha with 2 egg pieces,chutney and payesh. We were also served complimentary aam paana. All the dishes tasted absolutely amazing. Overall a nice place to visit if one is looking for bengali food.

Went to this place today along with my friends , we had ordered the fish thali . The Doi Katla was absolutely delicious . The service was prompt and the behavior of the staff was wonderful . Would definitely visit again . Keep up the good work guys , All the Best.

Food is delicious and hygienic. It's like a home cooked food. I have visited this place multiple times. Fish fry , pulao , mutton curry is very tasty. Other recipe are good as well. It's a must visit if you are fond of authentic bengali cuisine.

Excellent food, very courteous and friendly owners. Small and homely ambience. Had a lovely time. Every item we tried were amazing, and had authentic taste. It's best to ask the signature dish and dish of the day if one prefers to have the best sampling. The menu is very reasonably priced and we were quite pleasantly surprised. The location is little obscure but the Google location is kind of precise. Will definitely visit again!

The USP of the restaurant is that you have the taste of home cooked food here.Moreover the host,the owner of the restaurant is extremely friendly and has a very pleasant behavior. We tried Sona muger dal,jhiri alu bhaja,vetki paturi,galda chingri malaikari,mutton kosha,chatni and chanar payesh.All the items were awesome and like homemade dishes with less oil and spices.Prices are not also too high.You can find a number of popular bengali cuisine in this city,but this restaurant stands alone for its good quality.
