Haldar's is a tiny sweet shop at the corner where Deodar Street connects to Ballygunge Circular Road. It is a great place for shingaras that are made fresh and quickly sell out as well as sweets like Mishti Doi, Kheer Kodombo and Shon Papri of a reasonably high standard that makes it the go-to shop whenever one needs to satisfy any sweet cravings!

Halder Sweets makes good Rosogolla and lancha. Tried both of them and each were good. The place is clean and prices are very reasonable. Sweets range from Rs.5-10.

One of the best Bengali Sweet shops in the area. Not much expensive. Each and every items are worth the price. Have been enjoying their sweets for more than a decade now. Simply the best in the area according to me.PS: In case you are planning to have singaras(samosas) on a Sunday evening, do hurry as stocks will run out soon as everyone in the neighbourhood wanrt to enjoy a snack on a Sunday evening. :p

It's a small sweet shop that has good amazing misthi Dahi. The other sweets are good too but the cold curd is a must have especially during summer.
