Overall..the hotel is within the budget range for a few days stay in Kolkata. The rooms are neat and clean. The view from the 3rd floor non-ac room is somewhat less as it tends to be sideview to the main road. The service is also good as the staff are well mannered.
I would recommend this hotel for anyone coming to Kolkata towards the Dum Dum side.

The hotel is better than it's class. Liked the ambience was excellent. I got room no 409 on top floor. 2 beded attached bath 2 chairs, wordrops, hanger, towel, shop(tiny), tv with cable connection, fan-light everything is functioning and scenario was also present there and a balcony provides an extra pleasent. Thanks to the hotel authority for the ambience only negtive is they don't display any hording at the begining of Nager bazar.... and you have to ask the people for the people.... from dumdum jn there is no hotel available for solo staying. So it should be a better chance to them to make it more popular through displaying a hording at junction to nager bazar more. Thanks
I got married in February 22, we booked Janata Hotel banquet for this ceremony.
The food quality is excellent, decoration of banquet is very good by the hotel. Behaviour of staffs are humble. Standard cost. Please try this place for any occasion, family programme

The surrounding areas may look messy , vegetable , fish, meat markets but trust me the hotel is very comfortable neat & clean. If your choice is a budget and decent hotel do stay here.Courteous people. Reception, Restaurant, Housekeeping everyone.

Is is very small but very good hotel. Food are very testy. Main plus point is price very cheap compared to other hotels in 2019. I have continuously eating for last two months. Food are testy because these are spicy. So if you don’t like spicy so don’t go there.
Excellent service providers. Appreciate the front desk as they helped my late night arrival. Rooms are very good and upto the mark, rooms are equipped with TV, telephone and emerency contact numbers. Ground floor restaurant is a plus point. Great food and excellent taste. Recommended for all travellers family and friends. Warm Regards.
Decent hotel. Most rooms have balcony. Prices are decent, better than oyo rooms in behaviour towards customer, price as well as room cleanliness! Oyo is only good for its convenience in booking through apo thats all! This hotel, you have to book via call or come physically. Online payment is accepted!

5 out of 5 .... I've booked this hotel mainly because of it's close proximity to Netaji Subash Chandra Bose International airport. It's hardly 6km and 20 min ride on a taxi. The hospitality is also very good. Room is clean and bathroom as well. Hot water is available... can have dinner or breakfast downstairs and tv is also available. I would recommend this place even if you go with family.
