Quality and taste of the food was good. I enjoyed all the dishes I ordered including Starters, Chinese and Indian cuisines. However the service needs immediate improvement. Food serving people are not trained. Order takes very long time. Overall you may enjoy the food taste but will not get the fine dining experience.
One of the best South Indian restaurant it is.. Specially for breakfast.. They have Chinese and North Indian options too..

Kurry Patta is one of the best pure vegetarian restaurant in South Kolkata. It's located at Lake View Road, near Southern Avenue and Sarat Bose Road. It's good for casual dining. It has ample parking space on the street.
Taste and quality of the food is very good. Place is clean and hygienic. Their service is also prompt.
They are mainly specialized in South Indian cuisine, mainly Idli, Medu Vada, Dosa, Rava Dosa, Bisebela Bhaat, etc. Their North Indian cuisine is also good as well. Chinese Bhel is also good. Tutty fruity ice cream and Hot Chocolate Fudge is very good.
We have been to this place for several times.

This place is recommended by my friend. So I was walking during Durga Puja and I remember that one of my friend had recommended me this place so I went here for lunch with four of my friends. At first I thought it will be very costly because the ambience is amazing and the place is well maintained and hygienic the staffs are very well behaved. So basically we went here for some South Indian cuisine so we love dosas. So we have ordered there paper dosa. It took time to come but when the order come we all were shocked. the paper dosa was so huge that it took place two plate to fit in. We recommend to order 1 dosa if you are two people because the quantity is huge as you can see in the pic. And along with that they have given unlimited chutney until we finish the dosa. The taste was very amazing 5 on 5. And the cost is not that high. Overall it was an amazing experience highly recommended.

Kurry Patta is a restaurant that serves a variety of Indian and Chinese dishes. The south Indian food is particularly authentic, and the rest of the menu is also very good. This is a great place to go with family or friends, as there is something for everyone to enjoy.
Here are some of the dishes that we tried:
1. Masala Dosa: It was delicious and perfectly cooked.
2. Ginger Capsicum Noodles: These noodles were fresh and aromatic.
3. Veg Manchurian (Dry): It was just perfect for my taste, and complemented the Ginger Capsicum Noodles perfectly.
4. Crispy Bhaji Dosa: It was very good and a bit different from the traditional dosa, must try.
5. Paneer Tikka: It was a bit dry and overcooked, the flavor was average.
6.Lassi (Plain & Mango): The plain lassi was refreshing and creamy, but the mango lassi was disappointing as it tasted like it was made with packaged mango pulp.
Overall, we had a good experience at Kurry Patta. The food was good, the service was friendly, and the atmosphere was pleasant. The staff was friendly and helpful. They were attentive and made sure that we had everything we needed. However, we felt that the prices were a bit high.
Update(July 12, 2023): Visited again and this time it was North Indian cuisine is what we tried and it amazes me to say they have nailed it. It was just too good.

I am someone who would put cleanliness and hygiene above the taste of food. Given the ongoing pandemic, I have been even more cautious while choosing a place to dine in.
It was on one of my lucky days that I came across this restaurant and upon visiting I found out that this place is immaculate, washroom is clean and well maintained, the tables and cutlery is well cleaned and is at par with the covid protocols. Staffs wear mask and cap and sanitize before each service.
What won my heart was however the food and service. I was pleased not having to compromise on the food and went on to enjoy a hearty meal. The service is done at a fair pace as not to keep you waiting for long.
I had visited this place about a month ago for the first time and ended up crashing here for dhania dosa, cheese mushroom dosa, ghee and plain idli, filter coffee about 6 times so far. Can a place get you hooked anymore?

Beautiful place serving good south Indian food. Prices are on the higher side.
Morning breakfast at Kurry Patta will surely make your day.
The Mysore Masala Dosa is STUFFED FROM END TO END with tasty masala. Very filling. Also the sambar and coconut chutney was really tasty. It is expensive though.
As for parking, don't think they have parking but you can park on the street outside.
