Went there last week on a chilly Christmas afternoon. Really had a hard time finding the parking as it was Christmas and there was a lot of rush. However, finally found parking in this mall. There was just so much rush everywhere. If things were bad in the shops and other places in the mall, it was terrible in the food court as you could hardly get a place to sit and there was lot of rush at the counters. Luckily due to demonetization, all the shops were accepting credit cards as otherwise normally you need to pay cash to get a prepaid card using which you need to make your purchases. The kids enjoyed their rides on the 2nd floor. Overall, the mall is Outstanding 🙃

The South City Mall is probably Kolkata's biggest shopping mall only comparable to Quest. It has an excellent collection of all luxury brands such as Sephora, Zara, Armani Exchange, Vero Moda, Charles and Keith etc which you won't find anywhere else in Kolkata. Another really good thing about the mall is that you can just walk in here to get a taste of Kolkata and it is always decked up in accordance to the festivities going on around that time. During Durga Puja the mall is nicely decorated with a Bengali theme while during Christmas it has a beautiful different kind of decoration. It also has a wide variety of stalls in the food court that you could just visit and gorge on all the yummy food.

One of the favourite malls in the city of joy - South city mall. Today was independence day for which the decorations was awesome. There’s something for everyone to do - movies at Inox, lunch at the food court or restaurants - there’s such a great selection to choose from, drinks at the lounges, all your groceries and of course, regular shopping with those who are bored with the above can enjoy at time zone with many play zone games.

Definitely a structure to adore .. with lifts escalators and staircase to roam around the mall.. South city mall has a huge space and many outlets for various brands along with a good food court on top floor with variety of options to choose from.. one can also enjoy open terrace restaurant along with in house sitting.. the space available is enough for 500 people at one time.. can be a bit costly when compared to outside outlet of same brands..
