This is one of the must try places in Kottayam locality. It is located inside Hotel Aida on SH1. It has really good ambience and the food quality is top notch. The prices are on a bit expensive scale but they serve good quality food worth the price. The service is also really good. They also serve drinks and other mocktails too. The place is fully packed at lunch times so we'll have to wait for a while. Great hangout spot for youngsters. We tried their crunchy chicken salad, chicken tikka pizza, Mixed fried rice and Fresh Lime. The Pizza was thin crust and really delicious. The Mixed fried also served to its name and had beef ,chicken, prawns ,egg etc in it. Crunchy chicken salad is a good choice for salad lovers. Overall had a great experience.
Food was just ok not great.
Price is more than other restaurants so we expect the best in everything.

Tried Honey glazed chicken, Alfredo chicken pasta, Pepper pork pizza🍕, Chiken tikka, porotta and butter naan.
Pasta was really good. Had better honey glazed chicken in lesser price in other places, also the onions in chicken felt staled. Other items were ok. Overall food is just ok.
Will recommend if you're looking for a cozy place with nice and peaceful atmosphere, also not worried about price.
But again you can find better places in Kottayam.
Have good parking space and enough tables for rush hours.

I had ordered Alfredo Chicken Pasta and it was delicious. This was my third visit ordering the same dish since I'm too attached to their pasta now. They have a nice vintage ambience restobar which also provides non alcoholic drinks too !

Food was good. We had burgers. Tried two beef and chicken both were good. The ambience at the place was too good. They provide both outdoor seating and normal ac dine in. They serve alcohol also. Alcohol are served at nominal rates as compared to other places at kottayam

Probably the best resto bar in Kottayam now. Love the ambience . Service was good. Parking facility is available, tends to get busy during holiday season. Food and drinks were good. Liked the pasta and Chicken Florentine
A great restaurant with good food, excellent ambience and great staff. I had a lovely experience there and the food was not that expensive.
The place is a little tricky to find as it is located behind a big hotel and we can't see it from the road. This is a must go place where we can get all kinds of food. You won't regret it.
Nice and cosy place to hangout, open till 11 pm. They provide different variety of food choices and also serves cocktail & other items as well. Spacious parking is a big plus. Courteous staff will help you with suggestions if required. Regardless of whether you are coming with your friends or with your family, you will enjoy this space and the time you get to spend here.
The Italian food that they provide is the best in Kottayam Town. Beef Lasagna is a must try if you eat beef. It was so yum! 😋 It has a cool ambience and great customer service too. My overall experience at 'The Outhouse' was grand. It's a must try out space if you visit Kottayam.
