Nice place to try... I went with my cousins suggestion to taste their cutlets... It has quantity 1 plate consists of 2 PC and beetroot sauce.. For that plate it's rs 50...but when we got there,we had their suggestion and tried their chicken omelette... For me it was the first time I am trying and I liked that... For that it is rs100...go try kozhikodens...
French Bakery - The iconic bakery near Kozhikode Beach that evokes nostalgia in youngsters from the 80s.
We walked into what we are guessing is the first 'Cafe' of its kind for our evening cup of chaaya and kadis.
1) The Chicken Cutlet with its crispy crust and bites of chicken wrapped in a very tasty masala mix - might be our most favourite in the city and was the highlight of our day.
2) The tea was strong and refreshing (also, good quantity).
3) The samosa wasn't that great. But, that didn't bother us .
Note to self - Make frequent evening stops at French Bakery because good chaya + amazing chicken cutlet = ❤
The place doesn't look appealing. However the food definitely tells a different story. Never miss the Cutlet and French Bakery Special Sauce. My grandfather used to eat breakfast from here.
This place has some of the best items u could get in Calicut, like their calssic chicken cutlets, chicken omlette , liver fry.
Only issue is the place looks so bad now, like they haven't changed anything since long time.
Sad part is most of the time when we plan to go there it will be closed .

I just happen to have only their cutlets, it was really good though a bit expensive. Don't get concerned about the decor of the place, you will definitely love the cutlets. Today when I went to this place, I felt it is currently being run by one person, so get ready for slight delay in serving, That person was very friendly too, he was ready to give me credit for some amount since we both were out of change though we never knew each other and I have no clue when I would be visiting here again.
P.S. I think I am going to frequent this place whenever I am around that location only because of the good food and the fine courtesy shown by that gentleman..
