It was really beautiful, and luxurious. The rooms were big and comfortable. Cons: The room's wall was cracked. I order some food at the live station and waited for like 20 mins, so that is slow service. Bathroom lights were less in the shower room. It feels good, but their washroom needs a change. Or else it is value of money.

Nothing special to mention as bad.
Amenities including the covered parking (valet parking), swimming pool, steam bath, gym, TT indoor board etc are great.
Location also is great as Freedom square beach is just 600m walkable.
Staffs are very helpful and committed.
Breakfast covers most of the common cuisine.
Value for money.
Nice place for a family trip if you get a good deal. Not ideal for business trips though as the area around the hotel gets crowded with heavy tourist traffic. It was really difficult to get to the main city quite often especially in the evening. The rooms are ok but a bit dated and old. The facilities are also quite acceptable. Food was quite nice

A serene and tranquil atmosphere in the hotel is worth mentioning. Rooms are spacious and well maintained offering the luxury expected by everyone. The hospitality of the staff is quite commendable. A special thanks be to Mr.Sanjay, the Front Office Manager who was kind enough to ensure that we have a very comfortable stay here. We have always enjoyed the privilege of being a part of Taj across the nation. We wish blessings of the Almighty upon the entire team working behind the success of the hotel offering valuable service to all the guest. The only surprise was why Taj failed to acknowledge the special event (31st wedding anniversary) for which we booked the room here with a special mention of the purpose at the time of room reservation. In all other Taj hotels where we stayed for our birthdays and anniversaries we had the privilege to receive a surprise cake in our room which really meant a lot to us. Please do not take it as a complaint but consider it a suggestion or reminder to serve your guests better in future.
It was an amazing experience being at Eros Hotel.. The ambience was really very good and the service was excellent...the rooms were luxurious nd comfortable. Me nd my Friends had good times there... Gonna visit the hotel again with my family too...I just loved the place💙
It was one of main attraction of the City once.. Now the ambiance is good.. But Property is maintained well.. Halls , Rooms every thing in the same standards compared to 10 years back..Not updated with the industry standards
Excellent and pleasant stay in Taj Gateway. Food was really good and tasty. You will get more variety of foods in Breakfast/ Dinner. Highly recommended.
The place is near the beach and well maintained. The building is a bit old and needs to be painted but otherwise a good place to stay. Checkout for discount online for a better price
Ofcourse different yet a heritage model indeed,but one would never feel that you are in the heart of calicut..it's a slient hub with amazing food varities..breakfast is super healthy and the slience of the place goes in hand with the ancient look and feel of the building. This old school hospitality hub,is calm n undistrubing ,unlike any other swarming city hotel.
