Alchi Kitchen is a great place for Ladakhi food that matches up to the hype it has. The food was delicious, and the location is gorgeous. We visited in July (peak season) and it was very busy at lunchtimewe and had to wait for nearly an hour to get our table. However, they were really sweet about it

We were treated with some wonderful food earlier last week on our visit from Leh to Kargil. Khambir(veg and egg), veg momos, yerkhandi pulao(veg), apple salad was great!

Cute place run by local women. Must definitely try the apricot mint juice. The chicken khambir was delicious and the chutagi(handmade pasta in a light mutton gravy) was something new that I tried. Definitely visit this place.
