Alchi Kitchen is a great place for Ladakhi food that matches up to the hype it has. The food was delicious, and the location is gorgeous. We visited in July (peak season) and it was very busy at lunchtimewe and had to wait for nearly an hour to get our table. However, they were really sweet about it and asked us to visit the monastery in the meantime (one of Ladakh's oldest monasteries is in Alchi too). We order mutton chuttagi, khambir stuffed with chicken and chocolate mokmok. Each dish was great. It is a little pricey but definitely worth the value. I'll definitely visit again next time I visit Ladakh.
