A really small and nice little place near the main market! Just check for the directions… the cafe is behind the facade of the main location and a door will lead you there… Must have - Mocha coffee or a Hot chocolate if you don’t want to have some coffee… The pizza (plain Margherita) was a great addition to the meal. The Coffee is worth the price.

This place, @mettacafeleh was recommended to me by someone from the stay (Sanjay Leela) who had earlier visted this place with his friends.
I tried their “Grilled Veg Khambirwich” and I just didn’t wanted it to finish. It was super delicious, a very different touch to it is what I felt even when I held it. The time it took to prepare was definitely worth the wait!
Tanvi started this place in 2018. She along with Madura and other staff handle the whole place really well, the ambience, music and service (in my view) were top notch.
You can also work from here, they’ve got power backup when nearly the whole Leh town didn’t have any power, the wifi speed it smooth for you to undertake concentrated work.
Highly recommend anyone wanting to grab a good breakfast/brunch/evening snack.

Tanvi the owner is a joyful person and she cooks everything delicious. She will serve you with a smile. The coffee is the best. Must visit cafe to enjoy your coffee or food with a mellow music and a conversation with the owner and with fellow people
Metta has been my go to place in Leh for coffee and quick bites. They have set a standard when it comes to coffee and staff knows what they are doing.
P.S. - Their latte is so nicely blended, it is to die for.
P.P.S. - Never forget to pickup a cold brew from here on your trips around.
Well to start with its a quite cozy and beautiful cafe which is slightly hidden 😉 behind a commercial complex.
Goods:
1) The roast is quite good and drinks like Hot Mocha is well crafted.
2) Music and vibe is cool
Need improvements:
1) They call themselves a "speciality coffee" but cold coffee was too sweet like a gulab jamun 😁
Overall 4/5 but I hope to see it 5/5 in our next visit.

Loved this place! There are sign boards on the road, the easiest way is to spot the bicycle shops and turn left.
The place is warm and welcoming! The interiors and ambience was very beautiful. The hosts are very friendly. Amazing food and beverages..
Near to the market but is quiet. Perfect place for someone who wants to work, read, spend some good time or go on a date. Great coffee ☕️

An absolute gem of a place. I stayed for over a month in Leh, and went here almost every other day. The best thing is that this is a legit Café - they have a variety of South Indian and South African coffee beans - rosted and brewed to perfection. All their coffees are a must try - whatever you get, you can't go wrong.
The owner, and the staff are super friendly - they make you feel welcome. The ambience feels warm and cozy - has a rustic feel to it. Their Mushroom and Spinach Khambir Sandwich is a must try. 10/10 must visit - again and again!

Highly recommend! Great coffee (not to mention they even had the oat milk(!) for my precious dose of flat white). Plenty vegetarian/vegan options. Good vibes - nice music in the background, stylish interior and super friendly people working over there. Have wondered through number of coffee shops in Leh, so far this is my favourite one! <3
Best coffee in town. Loved the food, cafe has limited food menu and speciality coffee which is best in class. Must try Khambirwich, Hot chocolate and Waffles with Apricot cream 😍
