Review Tsas By Dolkhar - Leh

Dholkar is a relatively new resort that has gone above and beyond the standard of what it means to provide a luxurious experience. Don't underestimate the food just because it is all-vegetarian. The chef is a master of his craft and his dishes are to die for. I cannot recommend any particular dish, as all the dishes are just fantastic

The food and the service was exceptional. Enjoyed the fresh produce used in the salads, the original flavours of the dishes theyโ€™ve created with local Ladakhi staples and the generous quantities + plating ๐Ÿ˜ Ate here though most of my trip!

If there is anything such as Gourmet Vegetarian. An elegant space, very well curated. A joy to eat once, at a minimum, particularly the breakfast, one of the finest Milk Chocolates on the planet.

Excellent, unassuming and wonderful find. Great variety and fine value tasting menu. Exciting food with high quality presentation, service and inventiveness.Staff are extremely knowledgeable and make great recommendations. They know what they're doing and what they're talking about, and you can tell making the customers happy is their main priority. You should skip several meals before visiting this amazing restaurant. Everything is so tasty, you cannot restraint yourself from having all of the dishes. At the end I must say that it was a Phenomenal experience with Top notch food and atmosphere...

From a hard-core non-vegetarian, Tsas is the best restaurant period!! every element from start to finish was absolute perfection!! The food was absolutely exquisite and uniquely crafted. The staff does an amazing job of describing anything on the menu and the service is unmatched. Tsas promotes sustainability and supports locals in many ways... The cutlery designed by the owner is just gorgeous and is also one of a kind and sourced from the local villages. I highly recommend this place !!! it's a place you must visit when you are in Leh!! Can't wait to come back.

Tsas by Dolkhar - A place you shouldn't miss when in Leh. Tsas translates to Kitchen-Garden in Ladakhi language. Plant-based kitchen with a lot of local delicacies presented as Modern Ladakhi cuisine with a great fine-dine vibe and quaint ambience, what a great concept! ๐Ÿ’œ Their menu is very uniquely crafted menu with a lot of luscious dishes and the staff was so humble & knowledgeable, got some great recommendations from Tanmay who's the Manager and he even explained each of the dish, how they prepare it, what are the ingredients being used and what's their origin. Had an amazing time learning about it all as well. ๐Ÿค— And the day we went, there was a live music performance going on by Mr. Bobby. What a great voice! Definitely another cherishable experience we had at this place. ๐Ÿ˜‹ We have ordered Ladakhi Fries which were hand-cut and served with in-house ketchup and tsas special masala, such a divine taste, even the in-house ketchup, never tasted any ketchup as delicious as that one. Then one heavenly and beautifully presented Hot Chocolate, warmth of that hot chocolate is all that's needed in the cold winter evenings, French Affair Pizza was the next item which was served with Skotse oil which is again a local ladakhi preparation with garlic flavour. Hands down that's the best pizza I ever had. Mezze Platter had local pea falafels, khambir (Local ladakhi bread) pockets and sourdough with 5 varieties of dips each with their own unique & luscious flavour. We moved to main-course after taking a nice walk around the perimeter and listening to some great melodies. In main-course, we ordered Oh Chutagi, which is hand-rolled pasta served with a scrumptious curry and khambir, loved how homely this dish feels. Yakhni was another amazing dish, with cute little pieces of poached turnips, smoked melons & potato which is served with a local delicious curry Balti tagi, some smoked oil which has amazing fragrance and rogan powder. Last main course dish was Memories of Old Delhi, which are galouti style kebabs with local Ladakhi peas (rak-sran & sranma) and are seasoned with handpicked Kashmiri spices, this dish is again served with balti tagi, tsas special masala and coriander chutney. Truth be told, I have never enjoyed veg kebabs this much. In drinks we have ordered Herbal Tea, Jasmine Tea, Darjeeling Tea, but what truly stands out for me was Lavender & Blue Pea Lemonade, the best lemonade I ever had with a great flavour & fragrance of lavender and a visual treat of seeing cool blue turning into a deep mauve on adding citrus water. ๐Ÿ˜ Last but not the least are the desserts, we got three desserts two of which we ordered and third was complimentary from the restaurant's end, thanks again for that. ๐Ÿค— We have ordered Wild Lavender and Vanilla Creme Brulee, which is an amazing French dessert with Ladakhi flavour of wild lavender & another dish was Seabuckthorn & 64% chocolate which is a dark chocolate mousse with divine flavours of Seabuckthorn. The last complimentary dessert was Parle chocolate coffee mousse which are cute little desserts with rich chocolate flavour which every chocolate lover will undoubtedly love. From the food taste, to food presentation, to the culinary, to the architecture and to every little detail about this place, there's nothing about this place that won't mesmerize you, undoubtedly one of the best restaurants I have ever been to. โฃ๏ธ

Tsas by Dolkhar is very beatyfull restaurant in a peacefull area near the Leh center but with no trafic noises around. Beatyful garden where possible to have a great lunch or dinner. They even grow their own ingredients in the garden and the field near by. Service is very nice and compliment. Very good english. The building is very new and clean looking as it is quite new. But the most important part, the food is amazing. We had Tsas pizza with ingredients grown in their own garden, apricot icetea and for dessert great looking and tasting Ladakh forest plate. Totally recommend the restaurant!

Definitely one of the best restaurants I have been. The service is top notch, the atmosphere is amazing and warm, the food is on another level and is served quick. The staff knows everything, and helped me with choosing amazing dishes. Yes this restaurant is on the expensive side, but worth every penny. 10/10

Heard about this place from a Chef and decided to give it a try, and boy we were in for a night of indulgence. I also happened to introduce a friend who was shooting for a movie in Ladakh and the group loved it too ๐Ÿ˜ It's commendable to see what the team of young and passionate chefs can create and thrive on. Kudos to the entire team The vibe here is great and the Chefs enthusiastically talks about the food they are doing. Loved the Chips & Dips platter and Mushroom Pate. All the dips were fabulous. It's beautiful to see the amalgamation of local ingredients with world cuisine. Pricing is fair for what theya re offering. Definitely, looking forword to visiting again.

I love this place. It promotes sustainability by many ways. They use local technique to build the restaurant by mud. They serve local and organic food that you may not have at other restaurants. They also introduce many books about sustainability. This place is so freaking amazing. So, come here and experience it yourself

One of the best vegan/vegetarian restaurants Iโ€™ve ever been to, amazing high class dining thatโ€™s actually not too expensive. Incredible vegan options. Great place to experience traditional ladakhi cuisine, as well as others (the Oh Chutagi is a must-try). The staff are amazing and so helpful. The cocktails are great as well.

Beautifully done place. Everything is tastefully conceptualised and placed and the minimalism is such a treat to the senses. The staff was very courteous especially the woman manager/head waiter I think her name is Nilza, was very helpful, polite and professional. Loved shopping for tidbits there which was my favourite part and the food was good too. Cocktails were really good! Will definitely visit again!

As a tourist from Mumbai:- my views for tsas is must visit to experience thier concept of sun-dried and naturally grown Food material being used in cooking. All the dishes we ordered were lip smashing. The Staff was friendly and always at service. They also have villas for stay . And location is close to market If u are in Leh then plan a visit to this beautiful place - Tsas by Dolkhar

Can't say enough amazing things about this place. I was surprised to find a restaurant of this level in a random place like Leh. Everything was on point: food, setting, decoration and service. The interior design is just beautiful. As a vegetarian, this was a dream, but I think every foodie would enjoy this experience. The menu changes according which foods are in season and the meals are creative and unique. Pricing is reasonable: expect to spend around 40-50 euros for 2 people, this included 2 delicious (non-alcoholic) drinks, 3 starters, 2 mains and a delicious cheesecake. Thank you!
