A must try if your are in Lucknow, it’s said that the recipe constitutes of 125+ spices and is zealously guarded by the family. The recipe was created by a one armed chef and so the name tunday which supposedly means one handed.
Now to the kababs - they are round, flat and thin and is made on a brass tawa which is heated on a wooden fire. The kabab just melts in your mouth and the taste and the after taste will leave you wanting more. Pair it with a ulte tawa ka paratha and that’s all you will keep ordering.
It is one of my favorite place which serves authentic mughlai and awadhi cuisines at the nominal prices. The food is really really very yummy so I recommend you all if you are a non veg lover and wanna eat some mughlai cuisines. Hop in to this place once and I guarantee you will not regret. The ambience of this place is up to the mark as this is mughlai theme based.The service was very good. So overall experience was very nice. But there's one demerit of this place is that they only provide kabab parathe and sheermal that's it. No other options available.

Someone told me that this is oldest of the Tundey Kabab outlets, it's not easy to reach there, after finding the outlet when I asked for mutton kababs I was told that they only serve BADE KA KABAB, I was really tired so thought of trying the kababs,
The kababs were average. Paratha was good,
Best part of the visit was that after spending Rs 300 on Auto I paid Rs 50 for my dinner.
Please don't visit if you don't eat BADE KE KABAB
I'm fortunate been living in old lko as well near by tunday , raheems, mubeens and many more those are the kings of non veg, and one of them is tunday specially of chowk he's one of the oldest taste supplier in kabab paratha.

As Raw and as Fresh as it can be. Mouth watering Galawati Kebab of the famous Tunday Kababi Chowk. This 'Phool Wali Gali' outlet is filled with the essence of roasting kebabs across the whole street.
Don't forget to chat with Haji Raees- the 90 yr old fellow behind the legendary brand. His words of wisdom & the quest to feed the kaum is full of struggles.
I recently had the pleasure of trying the kebab parantha, chicken kali mirch, and roasted chicken at tunday kababi, and I have to say, I was thoroughly impressed. The kebab parantha was absolutely delicious. The kebab was perfectly spiced and had a nice, smoky flavor to it. Chicken kali mirch was bursting with flavor and had just the right amount of heat to it....Finally, the roasted chicken was another standout dish. The chicken was incredibly tender and juicy....Overall, I would highly recommend all three dishes to anyone looking for delicious and authentic food...

It is time again, to order from Zomato Intercity Legends, but before that I have to condemn Zomato for making Intercity Legends available only with Gold Membership. Though my preferred delivery app is not Zomato now I am forced to take the membership (and order too)
Well I am not complaining as there are some restaurants that are listed with lesser add-on charges and the delivery is free, so I guess it is a win-win. And I want to try as many Legends as possible before my membership expires in May.
Now coming back to Zomato Intercity Legends, this time I was a little more experimental, and decided to order from much farther away from my previous order from nearby Hyderabad.
As it was my birthday, my celebratory dinner came down from Lucknow, thanks to Zomato Intercity Legends, which lets you order from legendary restaurants from popular cities across India. I ordered Mutton Galawati Kebabs from Grandson Of Tunday Kababi, Aliganj, Lucknow. Priced at ₹590 and a discount on delivery ₹80 with taxes and charges I paid ₹650 for around 7-8 pieces of Mutton Galawati. The whole ordering and delivery process was smooth with adequate updates on where my order was and it was on-time, if not before.
True to its legendary fame, the Kebabs were in perfect melt-in-your-mouth consistency, the balance of spices and the meat flavour was absolutely perfect and the spice levels packed quite a punch that I absolutely loved. The meat was so tended, flavoursome and all I would have ever loved more would have been a side of hot soft khamiri roti. But I was extremely happy with my meaty meal that ended my birthday on an extremely high note.
Thanks to Tunday Kababi for being the legend that they are serving such amazing food, and thanks to Zomato for making this experience possible and making my birthday more indulgent and special.
Had kali mirch chicken starter, galawati mutton kebabs, chicken biryani. Kali mirch chicken was too spicy n pieces not chopped consistently. Biryani was great. Important point is that they accept only cash.. no card swipe or gpay or qrcode payments..which is alarming definitely

One of my favourites restaurant to have mughalayi cuisine, this place has one of the best galawati kebabs that melt instantly you keep them in your mouth. The prices for the food is not high and are decently priced and quantity and quality of food is of star level. Service provided by the waiters is decent enough. The restaurant is divided into two parts, one only for family and another for individuals and others and that makes it very good for family visiting. Ambience of the place is not to fancy, its good and simple. i love the food here and so recommend everyone to try out this place.
The food was absolutely wonderful, from preparation to presentation, very pleasing. We especially enjoyed the special Kabab paratha,, chicken masala ,, and biryani.
Behavior was awesome. In budget. Delicious foods.

It's the only place in Lucknow where you will get soft and lazeez sheermal. I have tried many other Tunday Kababi outlets but their sheermal was not as soft as this outlet has.
Have Good Taste of Kebab and Paratha as compared to other branch of tunday kebabi.

The thing with all the new Tunday Kababi places is that none of them really matches the taste or quality of the old Chowk place. But it's good to have all these fancy places, and easy access to the good old taste of Lucknow at a convenience. This place is also good, pretty much hits the spot. Nice fare.
