One of the best biryani in lucknow city. Here u can get mutton biryani, mutton corma and rumali roti, paratha. Taste of biryani is very good. One most important thing biryani is available after 4 p.m and other dishes is available after 12 pm. Car parking is not available so u can reach only public e rikshaw Or own byke etc.

Lalla Biryani is small shop in the Chaupatiyan chowk area of Lucknow selling delicious mutton biryani prepared in desi ghee, biryani is tasty having 3 pieces of Mutton of decent size, with light spices. As for shami kabab they are also good and served with rumali roti. Owner of of the shop is friendly and nice overall a good experience 🥇

I heard a lot about Lalla Biryani so many videos on YouTube you can see about this eatery in Lucknow. So after seeing all videos and asking some locals I decide to try their Famous Biryani on my next Lucknow trip. Yesterday I got the chance to get there the shop is located just next to Chaupatiya Chauraha Chowk area in Old Lucknow. For me as a first timer the location was a little bit difficult to find but when I smell the aroma of Biryani i forget about location and just lost in the Aroma. I'm from Delhi I never expected such a taste of Biryani in Lucknow Lalla totally nailed it. From meat to rice to spices everything was just perfect. They make only Mutton biryani and mutton was so soft and tender that it comes out to the bone. The level of spices and the actual taste of rice and mutton was really fantastic. Whenever I come to Lucknow lalla biryani will always be in my must eat places.

Excellent Biriyani... Just Lajawab... The Galawti kebabs are also good... Their texture and taste is unique but good taste. Personally I would prefer galawti from Tunday kebabi above this one but it is definitely worth to taste. But, the chaos is too much they must have a better sitting and service arrangements..

The food was amazing and now lalla biryani has some sitting area also primarily for family and kids. Owner is polite and very humble. Tried biryani, it was very delicious and has a differnet taste and feel from other famous biryani from lucknow. Combine it with some raita and it will be on next level. I also had mutton korma and rumali roti which was very delicious and rumali roties were cooked perfectly.

Coming from purana lucknow, lalla biryani, juicy tender meat so well cooked in aromatic soft rice. Must visit if you are in lucknow. it is in a conjusted area so don't take any cab or car try coming on bike or public transport. And dine area doesn't fit more than 5 people, So come prepared.

I used to hear a lot about Lalla Biryani being one of most authentic and unique Lucknawi Biryani. Finally, had a chance to try it out for the first time. A shop in the centre of the Old Lucknow - Chowk, thin roads choked with traffic and the time in the Clock tower showed 4 pm. You could determine from way behind that the shop crowded by people would be the shop I was looking for. The Biryani was just coming in fresh from the gas and as soon as the lid was opened, the shop was filed with the aroma of biryani. The aroma itself was making the mouth watery. Had to stand in the line for 45 min to get a hang on to my parcel. The Mutton Biryani costed 160/- for half a plate and amount doubled for full plate. Talking about the taste, like the aroma, the biryani tasted amazing with such tender meat pieces, brilliantly cooked. Felt like it was worth the wait. The area of improvement would be infrastructure wise mainly the sitting/dining area. The shop sometimes becomes too over crowded and you will have to wait alot in order to get your order. I'll suggest not to visit the place during weekends if you don't want your time to be wasted and enjoy the taste peacefully 😉.

If you like your biryani with subtle spices, then this outlet is for you. Mutton is so well cooked that you can easily seperate it from bones. Be there at 4:00 pm , to get a pipping hot plate of biryani. You will have to be patient to get your serving, they can ensure a token system to have a more organized serving process. They have 3 types of servings quarter, half and Full. Do try their kebabs too. You will have to stand and eat, so better get it packed

Good taste.. and a very polite owner mr lalla uncle.. they only sell mutton items.. overall good taste with reasonable price but they should avoide dalda use..

Biryani with one of the softest mutton. Do try this. Only down side is that like many other similar eateries, it's in a location which is very difficult to reach in a four wheeler and it does not offer a very clean and comfortable sitting area. Also the price of the biryani is just slightly on thr higher side but that can be ignored and should not stop you from eating here.

Best Mutton Biryani after a long time. Mr Lalla Ji is a celebrity in his own right. Everyone makes his video when he plays with his Biryani from the Big Deg. 10/10 on experience. Location is a bit away. Take an auto and ask him to park nearby. Offer him Biryani so that he stays longer to take you back. If you eat by hand then buy Dettol Soap n water bottle from the adjacent shop to wash your hands from Ghee after eating. Mr Lalla Ji colors his hair to Black and that is his identity. 10/10 Biryani

One of the best mutton biryani place in the city. If you are Biryani lover then you must visit this place in lucknow. You need to take care of time when arriving this place as they start by 4:00 and biryani ends by 7:30 on weekends. Really soft mouth watering pieces. Heard a alot about this place so visited. The biryani as hiped is good and the taste is very nice. The only problem, visiting this place to eat is not clean. The place is not clean at all. If you are ordering then it's fine. But else keep this in mine before you go this place. Price for half plate biryani is around 160 rupees.

Probably the second best biryani in the city , Idris still stands no.1. Lalla biryani rice is well soaked in oil and melts in mouth , the mutton is well cooked and aromatic. A must eat for non veg lovers.

Lalla biryani is quite famous in old Lucknow. The place is at Chaupatiya (Old Lucknow), you can reach the place via tempo as well as the taxi stand is next to restaurant.

Mutton biryani is the best in town. Service hours should definitely increase as the window is quite short and waiting till 5 PM to order,makes it little hard to wait

The taste of biryani here gives true meaning to the word Lajawaab.Just woww taste.The mutton is very tender with fluffy basmati rice cooked in very light and aromatic whole spices.The only issue is that the seating area is not meant for dining with a group of friends or with family,which means that this place is good for orders and takeaways.But the taste is really really wowwww!A must try joint,if U are a biryani lover.

Heard of this place so much about their biryani,but for me it was not upto the mark .It was so greasy that whole bottom of plate is filled up with ghee.Rice and other item was of not that quality which we were expecting.

Welll well you won’t expect sooo tasty mutton biryani from such place but it’s really too good.. the meat is really soft and so is the rice.. Its a light biryani with a really nice taste.. But i think they should also give some gravy with it and should add chicken biryani as well..

Best goat meat biryani the rice is flavourfull and meat is so tender and juicy, everyone should try and make there own choices, the place is very small and not cozy and please note the timing is from 4pm to 8pm last otherwise the biryani is finished here, they do not serve all day.

I tried non veg food for the first time, my friend suggested if i wish to try non veg, this is the place, and mutton biryani is the dish. Biryani served in steel plates does not look encouraging at all, but the aroma coming from rice is really nice, the first bite i took instantly i said 'waah' 3-4 times. Moreover my friend was looking more happy than me as i loved the food completely. The juicy mutton pieces are so tender that the bone would automatically come out from the meat. Its Awesome. The only negative point is that it's in the filthy bylanes of sarai mali khan, the shop is very small and the ambience is totally absent, better get your food packed here and eat at home.

Mutton biryani here has a unique taste of its kind. Perfect blend of spices, mutton pieces are cooked well. One plate seems less too eat. One drawback, place is situated at a very distant place, not easy to find if new to lucknow.

Lalla’s Biryani, is a small shop at the nook of the busy Chowk area that offers the most delicious and mouth-watering biryani. I had the good fortune to taste the succulent kebabs and the biryani during one of my visits to the city and I must say that the unquote flavours and the taste of the biryani lingered in my mouth for days. I know that a delicious Biryani is a Lucknowite's true weakness but I am sure that Lalla Biryani keeps up to this. It definitely does not disappoint .
