Heard a alot about this place so visited. The biryani as hiped is good and the taste is very nice. The only problem, visiting this place to eat is not clean. The place is not clean at all. If you are ordering then it's fine. But else keep this in mine before you go this place. Price for half plate biryani is around 160 rupees.
When u think of Biryani go straight to Lalla.The finest one in term of biryani.Located at a little jammed place but once u taste the biryani u will forget everything.

Best Mutton Biryani in Lucknow hands down.Dont get me wrong but Idrees Biryani is also good bt I love the flavour profile of lalla's biryani as its mild and the mutton is fall off the bone soft,A must try spot in Lucknow nothing fancy a small shop but packing a ton of flavour for your taste buds.

One of the best biryani in lucknow city. Here u can get mutton biryani, mutton corma and rumali roti, paratha. Taste of biryani is very good. One most important thing biryani is available after 4 p.m and other dishes is available after 12 pm. Car parking is not available so u can reach only public e rikshaw Or own byke etc.
Lalla Biryani is small shop in the Chaupatiyan chowk area of Lucknow selling delicious mutton biryani prepared in desi ghee, biryani is tasty having 3 pieces of Mutton of decent size, with light spices. As for shami kabab they are also good and served with rumali roti. Owner of of the shop is friendly and nice overall a good experience 🥇
I heard a lot about Lalla Biryani so many videos on YouTube you can see about this eatery in Lucknow. So after seeing all videos and asking some locals I decide to try their Famous Biryani on my next Lucknow trip. Yesterday I got the chance to get there the shop is located just next to Chaupatiya Chauraha Chowk area in Old Lucknow. For me as a first timer the location was a little bit difficult to find but when I smell the aroma of Biryani i forget about location and just lost in the Aroma.
I'm from Delhi I never expected such a taste of Biryani in Lucknow Lalla totally nailed it. From meat to rice to spices everything was just perfect. They make only Mutton biryani and mutton was so soft and tender that it comes out to the bone. The level of spices and the actual taste of rice and mutton was really fantastic. Whenever I come to Lucknow lalla biryani will always be in my must eat places.
Excellent Biriyani... Just Lajawab... The Galawti kebabs are also good... Their texture and taste is unique but good taste. Personally I would prefer galawti from Tunday kebabi above this one but it is definitely worth to taste. But, the chaos is too much they must have a better sitting and service arrangements..
The food was amazing and now lalla biryani has some sitting area also primarily for family and kids.

Tried biryani, it was very delicious and has a differnet taste and feel from other famous biryani from lucknow. Combine it with some raita and it will be on next level.
I also had mutton korma and rumali roti which was very delicious and rumali roties were cooked perfectly.
Coming from purana lucknow, lalla biryani, juicy tender meat so well cooked in aromatic soft rice. Must visit if you are in lucknow.
it is in a conjusted area so don't take any cab or car try coming on bike or public transport. And dine area doesn't fit more than 5 people, So come prepared.

I used to hear a lot about Lalla Biryani being one of most authentic and unique Lucknawi Biryani. Finally, had a chance to try it out for the first time. A shop in the centre of the Old Lucknow - Chowk, thin roads choked with traffic and the time in the Clock tower showed 4 pm. You could determine from way behind that the shop crowded by people would be the shop I was looking for. The Biryani was just coming in fresh from the gas and as soon as the lid was opened, the shop was filed with the aroma of biryani. The aroma itself was making the mouth watery. Had to stand in the line for 45 min to get a hang on to my parcel. The Mutton Biryani costed 160/- for half a plate and amount doubled for full plate.
Talking about the taste, like the aroma, the biryani tasted amazing with such tender meat pieces, brilliantly cooked. Felt like it was worth the wait.
The area of improvement would be infrastructure wise mainly the sitting/dining area. The shop sometimes becomes too over crowded and you will have to wait alot in order to get your order.
I'll suggest not to visit the place during weekends if you don't want your time to be wasted and enjoy the taste peacefully 😉.
If you like your biryani with subtle spices, then this outlet is for you. Mutton is so well cooked that you can easily seperate it from bones. Be there at 4:00 pm , to get a pipping hot plate of biryani. You will have to be patient to get your serving, they can ensure a token system to have a more organized serving process. They have 3 types of servings quarter, half and Full. Do try their kebabs too. You will have to stand and eat, so better get it packed
Good taste.. and a very polite owner mr lalla uncle.. they only sell mutton items.. overall good taste with reasonable price but they should avoide dalda use..
Best Biriyani in Lucknow.. Taste totally different.. The owner of the Restaurant Mr. Lalla ji is a very good person..
