Were feeling hungry, decided to go to this joint Sagar Ratna on Pickup road/ Gomtinagar. Very delicious preparations. Relished Dosa & Utpam with fly. Service was prompt. Also crowd was less. Better decoration needed. Prices are a bit high though quality of food is excellent. Good luck
Sagar Ratna is a delightful place. I was mesmerised with the South Indian food. I had Ghee roast Dosa Lemon rice cheese Dosa.
Cheese dosa was fully loaded with cheese and it was super tasty.
I also have enjoyed there Ghee roast dosa it was a trip back to memory when i was in Chennai having ghee roast dosa. I particularly loved the taste and demanded more.
I also happened to try indian main course. Corn Palak and panner lababdar which was the perfect way to have veg main course. I would recommend this place and will personally come here soon. Especially for the ghee roast dosa.
So recently i tried south idian food at sagar ratna and i really felt like i m having authentic south indian food with all those flavours rightly presented just loved their south indian food and some of my favourites among these was that idli chaat it was really tasty its a must try ,it was like crispy from outside and its softness could be felt after the bite it was really yumm... and also their ghee roast masala dosa i'm just in love with its taste just can't get over it 😅 another must try dish . Their biryani is really good all the spices,flavours and aroma tactically infused loved it also got to try their north indian varities in which their Makka palak curry was really good loved it it's a must go to place and south indian food lovers must try it out .

I was looking for South Indian food & after searching on Google i got to see this brand Sagar Ratna famous for it's delicious south Indian delicacies.
We went to the Gomtinagar Outlet, started the food with Filter coffee & Madras style buttermilk their signature drinks with a plate of Vada & Idli Chaat. Coffee was good in taste (Recommended) & Vadas are fresh & crispy served with 3 Chatni and Sambhar.
Idli Chaat was also a great thing to try at this place.
When it comes to Dosa this place is serving great variety; out of all we tried-
Cheese Dosa (Very good in taste filled with veggies & Cheese - you will feel like you are eating Dosa with Pizza toppings) &
Ghee Roast Dosa (Loaded with prominent smell & taste of Ghee & stuffed with flavourful Aloo Masala). The mint chutney at this place was very nice.
Also had some Main Course dishes like-
Mushroom Chilli & Singapore Noodles ( A delicious Combo)
Paneer Lababdar with Butter Naan was also good.
Ended with South indian sweet dish Rava Kesari & Gulab Jamun.
Service aspect need improvement.

Sagar Ratna being one of the largest south indian food chains in the country, raises the bar for food standards. The Gunpowder Dosa, Cheese Dosa, and Ghee Roast Masala Dosa is a must try. Also, if you are looking for something new, you must go for Idli chaat, its just perfect and unique. Also, i must mention that not only south indian food, the place has a variety of great chinese, and north indian cuisines.

Food- Craving for South Indian food? This is your stop! I have been to dozen of South Indian restaurants in South India and no place in North India matches the exact flavor but this place is the closest you can get in terms of South Indian flavor in Lucknow. One noteworthy point is their usage of right spices at the right place.

In monetary terms, this place is a teeny-tiny bit overpriced but it's worth a visit. :)
The went to the place becoz of zomato gold benefits.i went with my mom and nani.they liked the place a lot. ambience is very classy.though parking is a problem here.service was fast and prompt.we ordered masala dosa ,idli lassi chassh all tasted good.bill came around 400 so its a good deal to have a family dinner here.
First of all if you are searching for sagar ratna then so sorry for you guys there is no sagar ratna instead of sagar ratna you can find Anna's Kitchen and one more restaurant merged with Anna's kitchen, you can find South indian as well as north indian food also , i went there for my favourite dosa and expectations were very high when i entered in but experience with dosa was not according to the price that they charged.

I visited first time along with my family on 15th July and enjoyed dosa and Sambar served along with dosa needs some qualitative improvements by adding 3/4 seasonal green vegetables, I hope your management will comply at the earliest, so that we may bridge up our Durgapur wonder vatika flavor during our next visit.
