Love the vibe here and food, great taste .

We went for a Dinner on Friday evening. As expected the Restaurant was almost full, thankfully we had booked our table. It has fantastic ambiance and there are natural plants and flowers all over . The food was authentic and delicious with good portions . Prices of dishes were commensurate to quality and quantity. Menu is vast and it took us some time to decide with helpful servers. A good place to go for fine dine with friends and family. The ambience and the atmosphere is great. Even after having located in one of the busiest crossroads in the city, it is peaceful. It is a great place to grab a cup of coffee and have some food. The food is good but a bit on the higher side in prices. Overall it's a great to visit place if you are in the town.

If you wish to go for fine dining in Ludhiana, this place must be in your bucket list. Food quality is excellent and the service staff is eager to serve you better.May be ambience can get bit enriched

They never disappoint me with their service and hospitality. The service is 5/5. This place is at one of the busiest crossroads in town yet so peaceful. Ambience is amazing..the greenery around you will take all your tiredness and refreshes you with it's cool vibes. You will forget the outside world with a sip of coffee and calmness around you. Food is good but a bit on the higher side in prices. However, it's worth it.

Bistro is a high-end gourmet place. The food and drinks were undoubtedly good. Nothing much to critique here. If you're looking to spend more in a serene space, Bistro 226 will work well!

A pleasent experience! The moment you enter this restaurant, what actually steals the show is the excellent ambience. A silent and aromatic atmosphere which actually is quite a rare thing to see in Ludhiana's restaurants. I don't remember the names of all the dishes that I have had during all my visits; actually you need to check the ingredients mentioned under the dish name and then order accordingly if you're also not very familiar with the italian cuisine. Coming to food. It serves really outstanding food. Especially the dishes based on rice. My personal favorite is their rissotto, sheer brilliance. Then their veg. lasagna is probably the best in the town. Then their warm salad and cantonese fried and crispy noodles are some of the best starters you can have. Now what's actually best about 226 is that not just italian but their indian cuisine too is a blast. Have some achari paneer tikka for an indian starter. Then their paneer fajitas and paneer butter masala for main course are extraordinary. Overall, this is literally a 5 on 5 restaurant for me. Strongly recommended.

The place is pretty good and can be a saver in the scorching heat of the month of April, has amazing coolers and drinks, the taste was really refreshing and appropriately priced, may be a bit on the higher side however the ambiance and the service made up for it. The staff is really patient and understanding however I did notice the mention of The restaurant levy 10% of Service Charge and when confirming with the staff that becomes mandatory for a person to pay then. However the service was good so instead of tipping the service staff, I just went ahead with the service charges but I'd like the restaurant to remove that or atleast not make it flat out mandatory for the customer. It is illegal to do so. Otherwise the experience was overall good and soothing! Recommended!

It is always a delightful experience being here, we came here specially to have their cheesecake as I have earlier tried their blueberry cheesecake which is worth drooling for cheesecake lover, this time me and a friend of mine has coffee Caramel Cheesecake slice and it was as per our expectations, really enjoyed being here!

If you want a perfect meal.I will suggest this place.Perfect ambience,A-class service and due to that rate are more than average.It was so good to visit here.Loved the experience.

Ambience is the high point. Food is good not great but it isn't bad either so you have a good time. Pricing is a little steep but the ambiance kind of makes up for it. All in all its a good place to dine.

I used to love the food before my last experience at Bistro. I think they have changed their Head Chef. The preperation was so bad that we left every dish after one serving. The behaviour of Bistro staff was usual - indifferent. Would never visit again.

Went there with old friends, loved the ambience of the place. Courteous staff, good food, great service, would be going again for sure. We ordered Mexican corn soup which was quite flavourful. Since our friends were compulsive mutton eaters, they insisted on Indian cuisine and we had Paneer Lahori and Mutton Roganjosh. I being a vegetarian had the paneer only but the roganjosh was thoroughly enjoyed and appreciated by those who had it. Overall a great dining experience.

It is like an oasis in the busy Ghumar Mandi. When one ascends the flight of stairs in the busy Ghumar Mandi area, a surprise awaits him as a beautiul ambiance has been created using a lot of plants giving a feeling of openness. Food is good and so is the staff.

Bistro 226 is undoubtedly one of the finest restaurants in Ludhiana. Every item of this place is delicious. So much variety of different cuisines to choose from and every cuisine is equally mouth watering & delicious. Ambience is also one of the best in the city. Weather you want to sit inside or with street view or the beautiful open sitting full of plants & flowers. Whatever suits your mood. Just love this place. The USP of this place is that they never compromise with their quality & taste with is stagnant from so many years. I hope it will remain like this. Lots of favourites from this place. Some of them are Nacho & beans, Hummus pita, pasta, Khao soi & tom yum soup, Hot Chocolate, Chimichanga, etc. & chicken snacks.

Place is good. But expreince was very bad. Waiter talked roughly to my kids. After that i waited 15mins for bill. When the bill came wrong Items were added n added more quantity of my drinks. After they took time. When i got angry n said i am going without paying. I paid after seating in car. They make our enjoyment worst. When our guest was with us. Went last time not again, the prices are high from other resto, paying more money for this type of service. Not again

The food is great . I had mutton lasagne and sautéed mutton with veggies . It was juicy , well cooked . Service was great . 🤟🏻 I had virgin sangria too . The drink was good and could shadow the sangria quite well . 😇

I had been looking forward to try this place since quite sometime, but it turned out to be a disappointment. The food was really average. One visits a place to really soak in the environment, the ambience and the warmth of how food gets served to you. All of it was down the drain. Even upon pointing this out, the issue was merrily ignored. I for one don't want to be served half-heartedly. Waste of an evening out here!

Owned and looked after by a brigadier this Bistro has a good ambience for its customers .<br/>1 . Green ( vegetable ) Thai curry served with rice - An honest opinion would be the perfect coconut milk base curry with a slight garlic , palm sugar and thai basil flavour to get one drooling perfectly goes with rice and kimchi salad .<br/>One definitely must include this in their must try's .<br/>I would rate it a 5 / 5 .<br/>2. The red sauce pasta - Penne tossed in basil and garlic , seasonings and red sauce served with garlic bread . The pasta was a bit too "al dente" for the Indian taste and left us craving for more sauce . The garlic bread finely cooked in butter and garlic , satisfied the need for the accompaniment balanced the dish with its crunch .<br/>As per the rating 2 .5 / 5<br/>3 . The Pizza - Topped with broccoli , roasted garlic , black olives , green olives , bell peppers , cherry tomatoes , corn and mozeralla.<br/>The thin crust pizza was not too cheesy and heavy however some seasoning and more herbs would have added to enhancement of the flavours which were slightly suppressed by the cheese and tomato base sauce .<br/>The rating : 3/5

This is easily the best place to fine dine in Ludhiana. It has the most extensive menu in all of Ludhiana. And everything they serve is top class, be it Indian, Chinese, Continental, Italian or Mexican. And these folks keep things so very simple. No extravagant parties for Valentine's or new years, wonderful for people like me who'd like to stay away from the noise and pomp of such eves. The staff is highly courteous, and the owners, especially the lady is so wonderful, I've had quite a few conversations with her, she is very charming and makes sure that the restaurant's patrons are taken good care of. Must visit if you are in Ludhiana.

This place is set up on the first and second floors with an open terrace!I visited this place for dinner. We chose to sit and dine in the open terrace with moonlight and some prayer flags! This place is quite expensive for its subpar cuisine. They have a wide menu which is merely a facade with every entree and appetiser an imitation of the actual thing. Nothing tastes genuine and is definitely not worth the price.

Trained staff, they know the dishes. Preparation time (service staff as well) takes a bit more time than usual waiting time but frankly it's worth the food. Well prepared food and drinks. Food was average, but service was horrible. Staff was deaf to our requests, did not even serve our food. Ordered some mocktail but the waiter who took our left and it was not served to us. Overall very bad experience.

Bistro 226 is a amazing place to dine out with family and friends. Talking about the ambience which is great. There serving is also good. Fresh food and really very tasty. Blueberry cheesecake is my favorite. A very reasonable place for its food. One should definitely visit here.

Was a loyal customer. Used to love each and everything. But not anymore. Chicken 226 was the favorite of this restaurant but not anymore. Staff is rude/unaccomodating and not even to listen to the customers. Fish was smelly/raw not even eatable. Chicken 226 was smelly, raw and blood was still visible on the chicken. Thai basil chicken rice was pathetic. The best thing was beer and garlic bread. <br/><br/>Gautam the manager is like hell on earth. The rudest person on the planet. One person who can not manage even a Dhaba. He was not ready to listen to us at any given moment. <br/><br/>Never thought would be giving a bad review for this place but today feel bad giving it. Not a classic anymore and I would highly recommend people go to flammebois instead of this place. Even upper house is better than this.

Me and my friends visited here last night. Facilities provided by them were bad and i asked them for cappuccino coffee and they provide me cold coffee.when i asked them to change they didn't listen to me. Forcefully i have to leave that place and i have a very bad experience over there

the decor is good.went during christmas eve .was quiet little place almost all day long with outdoor sitting with books and magazines available too.ordered brewed coffee which in the menu was mentioned to be french pressed but they served me an americano instead.the waiters didnt know what is a french press.the christmas special turkey with red wine was overcooked and chewy and with that cooking really overpriced.virgin mohito was good.arrabiata veg pasta was also good.veg lebanese platter was flavourless the hummous and the other sauces and kebabas had no flavour.blue berry cheesecake was terrible there is no biscuit or crusty layer below that cheesecake and that cream cheese layer is flavourless and invorrect in consistency.in nutshell fancy and exotic menu over priced with no authenticity and flavours.the restaurant was empty and even after ordering drinks and then telling them to wait for a bit fir the next order the waiters kept on coming after every fifteen minutes .this continued for the whole day.so i would say poor service.they also argued over extra 10 percent service charge which they dont kbow they r not supposed to take from any customer if he doesnt want to give ,they removed it quite reluctantly .for decor is good but trust me ludhianvis this is not an authentic italian or mexican cuisine and lacks flavour and is over priced.

Really nice place to chill at butlocated in bery rushy area hard to find parking vallet people not experienced with luxury cars so j avoid giving mine. Stroganoff chicken was tasty but 226 quality is inconsistent as sometimesthey fry chicken sometimes they dont. Please maintain the quality

Ambience is good if you like the outdoos rooftop sitting with plants and greenery all around. Very beautifully done. The Food is very tasteful, presentation is perfect. Not so pocket friendly, will get you 12-1500 for two persons .

One of the best restaurants in Ludhiana for International cuisine. They have a large menu of drinks and food. Great ambiance with outdoor sitting too. Bit high on prices but you won't regret spending that.

Nice ambience and service. We ordered the grilled chicken - which was surprisingly really lovely, cooked to perfection - and the chicken enchiladas. While the former was a delight to eat, the enchiladas not so much. Soggy and not tasty. Didn't taste guac of much of anything. But that's always going to be a problem when you literally list every type of cuisine on your menu. Will definitely come back though.

Nothing is better than this place. I'm a complete fan. Amazing cuisine with international food menu & delectable taste of course is a great combination. One of the best places for fine dining in ludhiana. The food is average though. But few dishes like dry lemon chicken and drums of heaven are out of the world! Food and drinks are no doubt over priced. The staff here is ok except a few of them. I ordered a drink and asked the sugar to be excluded and she (the woman staff..dunno her name)started grinning along wid another staff member..obviously amused or baffled at my request. That was very very unproffessional of her. So the staff there needs to be taught how to behave with customers. So the low rating here..courtesy that staff.

The most fascinating thing about this restaurant is the open kitchen where you could see the staff working in kitchen and see your food being prepared. Also the interiors are a win win situation which provide an atheistic appeal in the busy market with all the handing flowers pots around just adding up to a refreshing treat to eyes.<br/>The food is amazingly both vegetarian and non vegetarian options are well prepared. I have some of my favorites here which is the khausau soup wonderful textures come through it. Also the chimichanga and platter is well done. <br/>Amazing stuff guaranteed with an outstanding interiors.

One of the finest restaurants in town and when it comes to taste and quality, there isn't 1% compromise on that. Infact most of the herbs that they use are organically grown within their compound. A place the upper middle class of Ludhiana loves bragging about; <br/><br/>Continental food... mmmm...<br/><br/>Mexican bhi hai (They have Mexican too)<br/><br/>Great collection of wines (As if they're all-knowing about wines)<br/><br/>The ambience is just AMAYYYZING! <br/><br/>So on and so forth.<br/><br/>Naturally, I had high expectations from this place. <br/><br/>I was quite impressed with the ambience when I first stepped in-- the cane chairs and wooden benches, the wooden wind-chime, metal motifs on the walls, Tibetan prayer flags-- an amalgam of tribal, boho and urban. But apart from the ambience, everything else was a let down.<br/><br/>The menu was extensive and impressive, and it took us quite a while what we wanted to order. We placed our order for drinks and food all at one go. My Con Funghi pasta arrived before anything else. While it was herby and cheesy enough, it for sure did not have the promised Portobello Mushrooms in it. Portobello Mushrooms have a distinct flavor and a meaty texture which makes them really chewy. They'd probably substituted those mushrooms with some locally available variety. My brother's food-- a Chinese chicken dish took a long time to arrive. And when it did, he wasn't exactly happy with it. According to him, the chicken did not taste fresh enough. It wasn't soft and juicy, but dry and hard. I had asked for a glass of water, which never came. Our drinks arrived not only after the food, but when we'd almost finished it. The Ludhiana shock had a pleasant flavour, but I was unimpressed with the Virgin Sangria. Firstly, it had come in the wrong glass, and secondly, it tasted strongly of Grenadine syrup than grape juice. <br/><br/>So with all that lousy service, and sub-standard food and drinks, I would say that it isn't your money's worth. All the points it has got are for its cosy ambience and the effort the owner's put into setting up this place. It could do a lot better in terms of food quality and service.

Pizza's were gud and i loved the lemon ice tea but pasta (some pasta with peri peri) was horrible..stale chicken in pasta full indian tadka ( i would not even like to call it pasta).. I did take away so service was nice nd quick..

One of the best restaurants in town. The food is good. The quantity is also good. However, it can be pricey at times. <br/>The continental food is really good and they have one of the best cold coffees in town. If you're looking for something spicy and filling, order the Chimichanga. <br/><br/>Captain Curry : simply amazing though the quantity of chicken and gravy is less. <br/>Thai chicken : full of Thai spices and that Thai punch.<br/><br/>Spaghetti carbonara: absolutely Amazing and lip smacking <br/><br/>Quattro formaggi pizza : 4 types of cheese all of which melt in your mouth<br/><br/>Caribbean lamb curry : the soft tender lamb melts in your mouth with its thick gravy<br/><br/>Chicken csirke: loaded and filling.<br/><br/>Orange and salted caramel pie : love the new addition. Personally not a fan of the orange. But overall it’s nice.<br/><br/>Peach ice tea : cool, refreshing<br/><br/>The only area that can be improved is service quality. The waiters are slow in rush hours. Also, something as simple as refilling water should be looked at. They have been observed to charge a hefty service charge which is nothing but the tip and must be at the diners discretion. The dessert options are very limited and need to be improved. <br/>Their menu is not updated. They can do more things than those on the menu. The waiters should also suggest specials. Overall the place is good and definitely a pick if you're really into gourmet food. They keep coming out with new dishes and do a good cheesy gnocchi too.

Love this place. Parking is a problem but then they have a valet. It's always crowded and the food they serve here is amazing. Never have been disappointed whenever I have ordered a dish here. One of the first to serve the best continental food. The owners are a delight to talk to. Always value your feedback and will come to your table and ask you how was your meal. Their menu is quite lavish so you keep coming for more. The drinks are of top notch quality. Great place great food

Located at an unusual place, bistro 226 may not get one's attention immediately but lemme tell you, a single visit will make you a fan! <br/>Bistro 226 has a perfect combination of a very hospitable staff and an exotic ambience that makes you feel you're in one of the shacks at a beach!<br/>It feels like it's an escapade from the monotonous life! <br/>I have tried, as obvious, a 'pakka' non vegetarian would, their Rajasthani laal maas which is mutton marinated with yoghurt and chilies and cooked with onions, tomatoes and cloves.<br/>I had this with my usual garlic naan which is my preferable bread with meat. 🍖 <br/>For desserts I had ordered tiramisu which was unavailable so I opted for baklava <br/>To be honest, it was too much even for 2 people after the mutton 🙈. It was a little too sweet except that it was well prepared. <br/>All in all, bistro 226 is a great place to hangout! Recommended.

This attractive place has very courteous and accommodating staff. We ordered some virgin drinks with Pepperoncini Formaggio pizza and veg tacos. <br/>Pizza was just so amazing. But Tacos were horrible though.<br/>Overall our experience was ok.<br/>

I went to this place with my family. I was so excited to eat something different from north Indian food. <br/>This place was so disappointing. <br/>We ordered herbed pita with hummus. Pita was too good. I asked for extra hummus which never came. Then we ordered arabiata pasta and garlic bread with cheese. Pasta was so blande. I complained to the waiter and asked him to add extra sauce to it, he got if done. <br/>But overall the service was very poor.

The place is hidden on the main street on the top of the shops in the market but then when you have the smell and taste of awesome food; hidden doesn't stay hidden for long. A place with ordinary food and extraordinary ambience. Menu is extensive and includes multiple cuisines. Food looks better than it tastes. Not a great place. I have been here a few times thinking my review will get better. But nah, this place disappoints.
