Went there with old friends, loved the ambience of the place. Courteous staff, good food, great service, would be going again for sure. We ordered Mexican corn soup which was quite flavourful. Since our friends were compulsive mutton eaters, they insisted on Indian cuisine and we had Paneer Lahori and Mutton Roganjosh. I being a vegetarian had the paneer only but the roganjosh was thoroughly enjoyed and appreciated by those who had it. Overall a great dining experience.

It is like an oasis in the busy Ghumar Mandi. When one ascends the flight of stairs in the busy Ghumar Mandi area, a surprise awaits him as a beautiul ambiance has been created using a lot of plants giving a feeling of openness. Food is good and so is the staff.
Definitely Serving Ludhiana’s best food with amazing flavours . Location of the restaurant can be improved . Anyhow amazing presentation, standard food quality and lovely tastes . So deserving these 5 star ratings.

Bistro 226 is undoubtedly one of the finest restaurants in Ludhiana. Every item of this place is delicious. So much variety of different cuisines to choose from and every cuisine is equally mouth watering & delicious. Ambience is also one of the best in the city. Weather you want to sit inside or with street view or the beautiful open sitting full of plants & flowers. Whatever suits your mood. Just love this place. The USP of this place is that they never compromise with their quality & taste with is stagnant from so many years. I hope it will remain like this. Lots of favourites from this place. Some of them are Nacho & beans, Hummus pita, pasta, Khao soi & tom yum soup, Hot Chocolate, Chimichanga, etc. & chicken snacks.

We went for a Dinner on Friday evening. As expected the Restaurant was almost full, thankfully we had booked our table. It has fantastic ambiance and there are natural plants and flowers all over . The food was authentic and delicious with good portions . Prices of dishes were commensurate to quality and quantity. Menu is vast and it took us some time to decide with helpful servers. A good place to go for fine dine with friends and family. The ambience and the atmosphere is great. Even after having located in one of the busiest crossroads in the city, it is peaceful. It is a great place to grab a cup of coffee and have some food. The food is good but a bit on the higher side in prices. Overall it's a great to visit place if you are in the town.

Great place.Ambience is very good. The decor , the interior is very nice. The food is very unique for me. There are lots of new option to eat instead of regular food. The food presentation and taste was very good. Overall experience was very good. In terms of prices it is little bit costly. Must go to experience this cool place.

Ambience is amazing..the greenery around you will take all your tiredness and refreshes you with it's cool vibes. You will forget the outside world with a sip of coffee and calmness around you.
Food is good but a bit on the higher side in prices. However, it's worth it.
Bistro is a high-end gourmet place. The food and drinks were undoubtedly good. Nothing much to critique here. If you're looking to spend more in a serene space, Bistro 226 will work well!

A pleasent experience! The moment you enter this restaurant, what actually steals the show is the excellent ambience. A silent and aromatic atmosphere which actually is quite a rare thing to see in Ludhiana's restaurants.
I don't remember the names of all the dishes that I have had during all my visits; actually you need to check the ingredients mentioned under the dish name and then order accordingly if you're also not very familiar with the italian cuisine.
Coming to food. It serves really outstanding food. Especially the dishes based on rice. My personal favorite is their rissotto, sheer brilliance. Then their veg. lasagna is probably the best in the town. Then their warm salad and cantonese fried and crispy noodles are some of the best starters you can have.
Now what's actually best about 226 is that not just italian but their indian cuisine too is a blast. Have some achari paneer tikka for an indian starter. Then their paneer fajitas and paneer butter masala for main course are extraordinary.
Overall, this is literally a 5 on 5 restaurant for me. Strongly recommended.
