We ordered butter chicken and the serving was enough for three people. The taste of the gravy was different compared to all the other gravies of butter chicken I have tasted over the years. Not spicy and not sweet . Not very red with added color but a light orangish shade and delicious.

Stopped at Baba's for lunch at around 2.30pm on Monday. It was quite empty... But it was full by 3pm. Had a similar experience last year too. Guess people eat a late lunch in Ludhiana! ;-)
Three places was recommended by a close friend who is originally from Ludhiana. Apparently it is a very famous local restaurant.
The food quality and service is pretty good! There seem to be a lot more Baba's chicken places in Ludhiana, also saw one at Mohali. Not sure if they are all genuine. But this one is the original one!!

The food & service was good. It was a proper Punjabi food.
One thing I felt is the quantity they serve is not justifiable by the price they charge.
Other thing I would like to point out is the Tip/Service Charge, which totally depends on the Customer and they should not be compelled to pay.
Water Bottle which should be charged on MRP as per law is charged beyond MRP.
Overall the taste of food was good.
Food quality 👍, price very high and service v poor. Ate black pepper chicken, veg biryani, ice cream, tandoori lacha roti, etc. Much spicy food, sitting environment was very good, spend precious time with family. Also, order through Zomato. A great experience dinner at BABA chicken 🐔 😋 😊 😀.
Good place to eat non veg food, butter chicken is a very different flavor nd color to what u would regularly eat so must try. Visiting Ludhiana, should visit this place of u crave for mughlai food Best place to eat for chicken lovers. Loved kaali mirch tikka, fish tikka, Baba special butter chicken and mutton roganjosh..Food is as usual great but the service standards is something which really needs a lift. Waiting for your orders is something which is a total turn off. So anyone who's visiting, make sure to order 30 mins beforehand so that the orders reach the table as soon as you reach there 😉
Baba Chicken is a renowned name in Hotel Industry. They have 3 Branches in Ludhiana.
Yesterday we visited their Shastri Nagar Model Town branch which is according to me their best . They have 3 floors with lift and velle parking. This was second time time we were there.
Restaurant ambience is quite good. Washroom clean.
We ordered Palak Nagar Paneer , Baba Spl Butter Chicken, Keema Mutton and Chicken Biryani.
Chicken Biryani and Keema Mutton was best . Butter Chicken was avg and Palak Paneer was also avg .
Quantity of food is good.
Baba Chicken is good option for Non Veg , Biryani and in Veg only Dal Makhani.
For these it is good option.
Good place to dine in. Their special butter chicken is awesome, no words needed. The indoor seating place is good too. Enough and wide tables but not enough parking spots and bathroom wasn’t very clean either. Otherwise everything else is pretty good.
This is my first time visiting Baba Chicken, which I have been told it is a long history restaurant. I like the vibe of the restaurant. However, one thing I don’t understand is why it segregates male group guest from group guest with female. If anyone know, pls do share.
I have ordered the following dishes,
1. Chicken Malai Tikka: this is always my favorite tikka, and I like the flavor of Baba’s. love it.
2. Mutton Seekh Kebab: sorry I am never a fan of seekh kebab, but my friends love it.
3. RaRa Mutton: this dishes I like it most, totally recommend.
4. Baba’s Butter Chicken: I am always a fan of butter chicken. Baba’s Butter Chicken has their own way to cook it, so makes it a bit different from other restaurants. Recommend.
In general, this is a restaurant that I will want to visit again.
Baba has always been love. The most famous restaurant for butter chicken in Ludhiana. Definitely a MUST TRY if you haven't already. Ambience, service, food, quality, quantity, everything is awesome. Butter chicken with butter naan, onions and chutney, trust me, no one can resist it. That's my personal favourite and I genuinely recommend this to everyone.
SUPERB and OUTSTANDING. From food, taste, quality, quantity etc everything is amazing. Special mention to the staff prompt, patient and polite.... if you are visiting Ludhiana please dnt miss this place. Highly recommended.
