One of the many joints in the old city area . The restaurant does complete justice to the term delicious . I have been there once . Having a different area for family and one for stags. The one for stags is not very well maintained but despite that they serve lip smacking food . Recently i ordered at home from their meal options as i was having a meal alone . They have a few options in the category meal for one/two . I ordered the boneless butter chicken with roti . Full of cream and butter , the chicken was fresh and well cooked in a tandoori manner . The other item that i would recommend would be stuffed afghani chicken . #breakfastmeinbutterchicken .

Royal Purshathi Dhaba on Raikhy cinema road serves the best in Vegetarian Food. As I have tried their Veg Fried Champ, Lemon Mushroom Dry and Malai Champ in startersand in Main Course their Yellow Dal , Cheese Tomato, Butter Masala Champ and Butter Masala Prantha is Awesome and out of World. Undoubtedly the best place for non veg and veg food. In vegetarian food malai and red chap, yellow Dal and lemon paneer is awesome... in non veg mutton korma, mutton masala, butter chicken and karahi chicken are really good in taste. Good Food and Good Service ππ»ππ»ππ»

A place which could have done a lot of justice to its potential but never really fully blossomed is Pursharthi Dhaba. Maybe coz owner never wanted to go big. But believe me this place has got some of the yummiest foods you can have. Right from cheese chiily to karahi paneer to lemon paneer and daal they have excellent flavours and know how to serve. Problem is the parking along with low quality tables they have got.

After a palate tickling experience at Larks we continue our tryst with the Dhabas of the old city, this halt Pursharthi!
Located right next to Larks,on a bustling street dotted with Dhabas,is Pursharthi.We climb two steps into an open kitchen with a huge tandoor which spits sparks and tantalising aromas of chicken and meat being grilled on skewers.We are escorted into a dingy little family room.But don't be put off.The fare served is robust and hearty.Service is really good.Pricing is pocket friendly.
We ordered typical Dhaba fare-Keema Naan,Chicken tikka,their special butter Chicken,Dal Makhani.The servings were generous and we could find no fault with the food.Special mention of the green chutney,which gave the right kick and tingle to the chicken tikkas and Keema Naan.Same goes for the gravy accompanying the Keema Naan,a fiery punch!The dal had been slow cooked and simmered to perfection,a smooth and creamy concoction.The butter chicken was richly smothered in a red gravy,with plump,succulent pieces.The tandoori rotis were of a healthy size ( the term healthy as we Punjabis use it! ),couldn't eat more than one.The butter Naan was a butter drenched sinful delight,soft enough for a toothless person.
Though I would rate Pusharthi a notch below Larks,it was nonetheless a superlative experience.
Very familiar place.Food is amazing and very hygienic.Staff is very polite and gud.Family atmosphere.Service is very good.Price is reasonable.Separate halls for family.
